  In the report layout text is FLUSH JUSTIFIED. Text block is the same size as the outer frame.
  When the report is generated in PDF format, text is only JUSTIFIED to the LEFT and to the right looks like cut. Text beyond frame is invisible.
  But when I text selection in the PDF report that all the text is selected and I can copy and paste this text into any editor.
  What is a cause of this error and how can I solve this problem? In my view, there is error in report engine.

  Don't know what your operating system and it could make a difference. If you're on Unix/Linux, try changing the uifont.ali file. (make a backup first!).

  I probably have done this lots of times in my old job, but do not have access to the code and now I can't work properly.
  
  I opened a window pop up with javascript
  Now, I need to close and refresh the calling page, but only if it ratifies the validation on the popup.
  I have an item hidden on my pop up called P7_FLAG.
  I have a process page after validation that affects P7_FLAG (only the value 1, if passes validation).
  I also have a "SUBMIT" button.
  
  So once I click my button "SUBMIT" page should look at validations, so ok, P7_FLAG the value 1, then close the popup and refresh the calling page.
  
  My current look of javascript like this

All of the s form other functions working perfectly, except the button to generate a page does not work. I am currently using an Android and view the PDF file on the application Acrobat from Adobe.

  I'm not aware of any mobile-based PDF Viewer that supports this method. Mobile versions of Adobe Reader supports a very limited subset of what support versions of office.

• Interactive buttons in PDF format are at the origin of printing problem

  I'm working on a magazine PDF in InDesign CS5. I recently added interactive "arrows" for readers to navigate to the previous/next pages. The buttons work fine, but some of our subscribers are unable to print the PDF file (they get blank pages). A test, I re-recorded exact same InDesign document to PDF without buttons, and one of my subscribers was then able to print the document as usual. My PDF files always include hyperlinks, indeed, who have never been a problem.

  Because only some people experience printing problems, I thought it's maybe because they are with older versions of Adobe Reader; However, a person experiencing it uses Reader Version 9. The problem could be related to older printers? Something else? I decided to remove the buttons, but I'm still curious about why this is happening.

  I created a button in InDesign (CS3) and when I convert it to a PDF file does not display the button in the PDF file. I made sure the visible option is selected the button options. Am I missing somehting?

• How can I reduce the size of the file when you save a psd in pdf format

  I have a psd with graphics and text, it is 8.5 x 11, 300 dpi

  I flatten the image and go to save as .pdf file I uncheck all options in general.

  Compression, I tried a dozen different combinations and the way I found to get a document that is not pixelated or blurred is to use JPEG 2000 > lossless or jpeg > maximum.

  So I have a document of high quality but the file sizes are approximately 900 KB.

  I downloaded the documents of others of the exact same type and size (8.5 x 11, 300 dpi) that I have seen in Photoshop, they aren't pixelated or blurred and their file sizes are 300 KB or even less than 200 KB

  How do do that?

  Delete all layers used, invisible.

  Zip compression is sometimes better than the jpg compression (in the pdf output settings). Zip is lossless and it works best with a color not degraded or not images.

  Flatten the image before saving it to pdf format can reduce the size of the file, if you use the jpg compression.

  See a preview of your pdf file and we can comment further on how to reduce the size of the file.

  I have a book that I designed in InDesign CS3. It has 150 images in there, which are Photoshop eps files: line drawings with a filling of black tones. InCS3, when I need to send files back to the Publisher, the eps files came out fine in any pdf that I did. Now in CS5.5, no matter what I do, only the task of color appears in the images - their black outlines will not be displayed. I'm sure it has something to do with the settings of a certain type, but I can't figure it out for the life of me. Help!

• Some items on the page will not be printed - even in pdf format!

  I'm kinda a newbie on Indesign (much better in Photoshop) and this is driving me crazy.  It's never happened before.

  I have a two page CMYK document.

  A part of the text (modified with pen base, transparency and angle) and the graphic still refuses printing, our laser printer or even in pdf format.

  A page prints perfect, the only other partially prints.  Both images and text.

  Any thoughts?

  If you want to make a PDF, export (to say "High quality print") do not print in PDF format.  Then try to print.  It could be that your printer is having problems with transparency should contribute to the export to PDF format.  You may need to use the parameter PDFx-1a if your printer drivers are quite old.

  If they are not there in the exported PDF objects may have a nonprintable attribute set, you can see this by selecting the element and looking at the attributes Panel.

• Error #1010 while trying to bind a button in PDF format

I imported a Photoshop file in the scene and created the buttons on some topics. I need to bind the headers of the PDF files when they are clicked, but when I wrote the code (actually in different formats) I get the following error message (while allowing to debug):

  Whatever the line is line 9 of your code has a problem.  If this is the last line, the chances are you have not named your daniels_btn inside the text object, or it is not named in the first image in the text.

• Firefox 7 will not open pdf documents. Makes it completely unnecessary given the large number of documents that are in pdf format. How can I get my pdf files to open?

  I tried a ton of help from older suggestions. I can't find a cure for this problem for Firefox 7. If I can't make it work, I have no choice but to use the hated IE.

  I would like to remove the add-on downloadable in PDF format that is listed in your contact information. (It gets terrible reviews.) Then, it should be possible to install Adobe Reader as default PDF application in Firefox options. And maybe the Adobe PDF plugin will be able to work again.

  I need to provide feedback to answer advanced in my project, in addition to hide the items in the object of a PlayBar custom until the question has been answered. Using the advanced options response seems to disable the actions of event completion question in the game window, so I need to find creative solutions. My concept is to add an event listener for the CPAPI_QUESTIONSUBMIT event that calls a tip action that will be show/hide objects. I have my script added on enter for the question slide.

  I imagine a version of the following...

  My second problem should call the object correctly such that executes its assigned function. I suppose that the object must be a button. Any advice on this part are welcome, because I have not far enough to test it yet so I don't know what to try.

  No noise in the thread so far, but I had this one work, then here is the solution should anyone need:

  Rather than use the CPAPI_QUESTIONSUBMIT event, which fires whenever no response is provided, not just final answers, I used a conditional based on the variable cpQuizInfoAnswerChoice, which does not change that value when a final response is provided.

  Here's the script:

  That works well for me! The main improvement I would like to do it here would be my show/hide title action items identical with the number of the slide at the end of the name and have a javascript function to update a variable objectName with this number and use it instead of theStageObjectInQuestion coding hard as I currently do.   OK, so I have got it working somewhat, but cannot change more than once. I have 3 radio with a primary default buttons and view the value of this main button, which is $ 9.99. I want to change the $9.99 to $15.98 for the second button radio and $20.98 for the third option and back again to the radio etc. 1 and 2 button box.
