stolen computer, how to install on another computer

our House was broken into and my mac apple with adobe software wireless thereon for the purpose of the University was taken. Can I redownload this on another computer so that I can continue my work? is it possible to stop it being used on the other computer?

is there theft policies to protect people in this kind of situation of having to start a new subscription?

Your subscription allows you to have two machines with working facilities, so you can install and connect on a second machine.  You can also try contacting the Support from Adobe to see if they can sign out any currently logged in (the one stolen) so that it cannot be used.  As far as I know there is no policy of flight in your license agreement / subscription.

Your license is only good for the platform for which it was purchased.  If your PC was a Windows machine, then you will need to request an Exchange platform for your product CS6.

You can exchange languages/platforms for a newer version product if you follow the instructions on the following link:

If yours is a copy retail, you don't and I don't need to.

But if yours is an OEM copy (for example if it came pre-installed on)
your computer, you can not install it on another computer. Your OEM
license restricted for the first computer, on which it is installed and it
can never be legally moved to another.

I bought adobe cc of my student account and installed. Then my computer broke down and I bought a new one. Do not know how to install cc on the new computer. The redemption code cannot be used and the campus web allow me to make another payment within 1 year in term aid.

    I'll appreciate any help!

The Adobe ID here in the forums have no CC registered to it, you can activate the CC to your Adobe ID twice. in case you have activated it twice, you have to disable among the previous machine or the third machine will give you the ability to disable from all the previous machine.

    1. Try the http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/make-older-programs-run#1TC=windows-7 compatibility mode
    2. If you have Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate on the 'other', download XP Mode (it's free)--> http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/install-and-use-windows-xp-mode-in-windows-7
    3. Get a newer version of Ventura (whatever it is)
  • How can I disable Adobe from a stolen computer?

My computer was stolen. How can I disable Adobe from this computer?

I can install it in another later?

You are allowed to have enabled facilities on two machines, so nothing prevents you to install now if you like... but you might want to delay until you can get the deactivation of the road for the stolen computer.

You can contact Adobe technical support via chat and ask them to reset your activations - just ask if reset or else they could tell you they can't help.  That will disable all facilities currently activated, that's why I suggest wait for install on the new - but if you immediately need you can proceed and reactivate just once again after the installation of the new.

    Hello

In addition to the advice given by Jose Antonio Ponton Posada CEO, you can also have a look at the response of Shenan Stanley on 20 October 2012 in this thread.

As Tommy mentioned, you can download and it save on the same computer. You can also download the Service Pack on a different computer and transfer to install it on the requested computer.

Do not respond if you have any other questions. Thank you.

  • How to install two operating systems on a single computer

    Original title: windows

How to install two operating systems on a single computer, xp and windows 7... ?

    Hello

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.
For the installation of two Windows OS (called Dual Boot), you first determine what exactly the BONES. Based on this, you can proceed to install the oldest operating system first, then installing the latest OS. Here, in your case, Windows XP first and then Windows 7.
If you change the order, the latest version of Windows will not work correctly.
In addition, you can use Virtual PC or VMware to use Windows XP in Windows 7. Windows XP Mode is another version of Microsoft which allows you to use Windows XP in Windows 7 through Virtual PC. You can download Windows XP Mode from here:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/Virtual-PC/Download.aspx
To install Windows XP Mode, you must have Windows 7 Professional or higher, with hardware virtualization enabled in your PC (you should check in the BIOS of your PC). If you prefer Windows XP Mode, you don't have to install Windows XP in the above mentioned way. It installs like any other program on Windows 7.
Note that if you have Windows 7 Edition Home Premium or lower edition, you can try Windows XP using Virtual PC/VMware or dual-boot.
  • My computer has been stolen! Can I install my Win 7 Pro drive on my new computer and disable the operating system on the old computer?

My computer has been stolen! It had Windows 7 Professional 64 bit for the new buildings of the computer. I still have the original disc and product key. Can I deactivate the license on the stolen computer and install my copy of the OS on my new computer? I'm having a hard time trying to find the funds to buy what I had once and I think it's not fair if I have to buy a new product key, when I still have the original disc and has been victim of theft.

If its an OEM version of Windows, you are probably out of luck (can't hurt to try). For a version of "Retail"...

If you a proof of purchase, then you may be able to get a replacement.

  • How to disable the stolen computer program?

Our InDesign program has been enabled on a computer that was stolen.  How to disable so it can be activated on another computer, we have?

If it is a subscription, change your Adobe ID immediately. Now activate it on two computers. That deprives the other computer to this one.

If it is a purchase, it is not so simple, maybe, they have stolen your right to use the software. Contact Adobe to see if they are ready to release him. Since they cannot block the stolen copy, they give you that here, indeed. It would be one of your insurers.
