Stop creating several points by a line

Hello, new to this and for some reason when I go to create a line or shape he keeps creating several end points as a fan for example when using the line, or even multiple of a boxes point etc start... any help?  Can't find any content on it.

Sounds like your ~ key is stuck.

  • Is it possible to quickly straighten the lines or remove several points in a line

    Hi, sorry not too sure how Word of the question.

    I'm studying for a master of science in geology and do seismic mapping. For storing my cards I exported the ArcGIS for I can bring together various and also outline maps. Then I exported the GIS maps in illustrator so I could try some of the smooth contours because they are extremely jaggedy due to the nature of the data.

    Is there a way to quickly smooth lines or mass delete points that make up the lines?

    I ask because I have 30 + cards and each card has perhaps 50lines with each line consisting of currently about 1000 points each...

    If I can't find a solution I will probably end up drawing on the shape with the pen tool and smoothing just in this way, as it should be much faster, and then deleting as many points.

    Any help much appreciated.

    I am currently using Illustrator CS5 and have access to CS4.

    Thank you

    And if you're good with the rounded tool, the pencil icon drop-down, you might be able to use it to refine the contours as well.

    It that they are actually fished segments, then you can select paths and use the brand

    Adjustable rounded tool your specifications, but you have ti experimenting wih to see how it works.

    Give him a little more work and you get this

  • Divide a line into several points

    I see that I can use SDO_LRS. SPLIT_GEOM_SEGMENT to divide a line into one only point (and get 2 lines resulting).

    However, someone at - it an idea how can I split a line, at several points, in several segments? I need to do for the number of lines, so a function or procedure would be nice as appropriate.

    Thank you

    Sorry for pasting quick and dirty, was a minimum on time and problems with my dev env.

    Perhaps still not the best outline but hoping there more explanaition should be ok.

    Previous similar questions have suggested that this may be related to Google Desktop. You have this installed?

    Otherwise, unless you are certain that the update fails after you have created a restore point, have you tried to disable restoring the system temporarily, then by reactivating it after a reboot?

    5.6.4 can we create an array consisting of several paintings of orinted line?

  • Extract the first line containing "critical" or "E-Stop" of the last avalanche of line

    Hi all

    I'm watching some test systems by analyzing their audit files.

    In this case, the platform generates several line 100 files in a specific folder. The code below is to find the last file and extract the contents of the last line of the last file.

    Unfortunately, when an error occurs, the main software generates not only one entry, but an avalanche of lines [not a specific quantity of them, depending on how much the alarms are resolved] and I'm now ideas of how I could identify and the contents of the first line containing "Criticism" or "E-Stop" to exit from this avalanche [line avalanche started 22.27].

    As an example, the above program is extract the yellow line, while I need information from the blue line.

    Any idea on how I can do this?

    See you soon,.

    You can add this snippet to the top of your existing code.  I changed the indicator table to a table so I could highlight the line.

    Hello

    1. what exactly happens when you try to create a system restore point?

    2. you receive an error message when you create system restore point?

    3. what operating system is installed on the computer?

    In the event that you use the Windows 7 operating system you can follow the steps below and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

    Step 1:

    Locate the service associated with the restoration of the system or Volume Shadow Copy Service is started after the computer is restarted. This service can be stopped by some viruses as well, so you can try to run a scan of your computer.

    To check the service

    (a) click Start

    (b) in the start search box type Services

    (c) click on - RUN as ADMINISTRATOR

    Check if the below mentioned services has mentioned State and type start.

    Shadow copy volume started Automatic\Manual

    Step 2:

    Also check the dependency services that are required for the System Restore Service run.

    To verify that double-click the service, and click the Dependencies tab.

    This service must be started before the restore point is created automatically or manually.

    Method 2:

    Try disabling the firewall and windows temporarily on the computer security software and then try to create a system restore point and check if that helps.

    Follow the articles given below to change the settings for the firewall and security software settings

    Understanding Windows Firewall settings

    Disable the anti-virus software

    Note:

    If you are able to perform the system restore after you disable the security software then you may have to contact the software publisher for the security software by disabling the firewall and security software is a potential threat to the security of the system.

  • Not getting not automatically created restore points

    Original title - help with Restore Points

    I recently changed the size of my drives C and D using a utility partition.

    He stopped the automatic creation of Restore Points. I noticed this because the restore disk cleanup deleting data/shadow copies running did not clearly get out any space on my hard drive. I run Disk Cleanup about every 10 days.
    I tried to re - turn on this; but I'm not able to do. Here's what I did:
    Under Task Scheduler, I have a set trigger in place to create a point of restoring daily at 14:00. My computer is sometimes off in the morning.
    The State of this trigger is activated. This is used to create regular restore points.
    I disabled the trigger to create a restore at startup a point a couple of years. My system has been the creation of restore points every day with the other Tirgger at 14:00 in Task Scheduler.
    Question No. 1: Would it be useful to delete and recreate the trigger for 14:00?
    Question 2: I went into control panel – system and Maintenance – System – the System Protection window and I am able to manually create a restore point.
    I can see my drives C and D on the list. Maybe I think too much about things and read things correctly; but I feel like it's better to ask this question:
    * Should I put a check mark next to my D drive or my C drive?
    I ask this question because the title says in this little window of the System Protection: "create restore automatically on some points:
    So, does that mean that only check box for drive C indicates a place where the restore point will be created physically ("on drive C"), or it means to a restore point to data on the C drive will be created? Is this clear?
    Right now I checked C drive and D drive and not on the list. I'm assuming he's asking me which drive I want backed up.
    (I don't know where the backup restore points are saved/located to go look for them.)
    I see that the last restore point was when I did it manually. The task scheduled for 14:00 does not appear on the list in this little window. However, when I check the history of Task Scheduler, it shows that the task has been completed.
    Question 3: Is something wrong with this list? I also check to see if the restore point is created at 14:00 from the task history shows that this has been done?
    I would appreciate help with this. I put a reminder on my calendar to create restore points manually. But something does not work with my system; and I want to fix it.
    Ken

    Restore points are made. Yesterday, after posting the original message/questions, I changed the schedule of the trigger to make a restore point. Maybe something jogging in the system in place. (Not exactly a technical term, I know.)

    Today, I checked the disk cleanup and had much less free space of a few days. I ran clean it point restoration/cliché and cleared space. Then I checked the control panel – system and Maintenance – System – the System Protection window and saw that the restore point the most recent was created today.
    Then...
    Question 1: Maybe change the relaxation time makes a difference.
    Question 2: Place a check mark next to the C drive, which is the drive that you want supported during the restoration.
    Question 3: Everything is fine with this list.

    Method 2:

    Step 1:

    I first suggest you to check if the Volume Shadow Copy service is running.

    a. Click Start, type Services in start search. When the page is open, look for Volume Shadow Copy service.

    b. right click on the Volume Shadow Copy service (VSS) and check whether it is started.

    c. If it is stopped, select start or restart.

    Check if you can try to create restore points after starting the service

    If you have installed a third-party security software, then try to temporarily disable the security software and check what is happening.

    Disable the antivirus software:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/disable-antivirus-software

    Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Step 3:

    You can also try to remove the job from the location:

    C:\Windows\System32\Tasks

    How to find which task is damaged or altered.

    a. Click Start; type cmd in the start search. List programs, right-click on cmd and run as administrator.
    b. now run the following command

    schtasks/query | findstr /i

    Search

    ERROR: The task image is corrupt or has been tampered with.
    ERROR: Task cannot be loaded: the task name

    Find the name of the task, try deleting the task name, and then try to recreate.

    a. Click Start, type Task Scheduler in the start search box and then click on Task Scheduler in the list programs.

    If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

    b. the component shares of the Scheduler dialog box, click on create a task and check.

  • How to create several classes of cascade?

    Goal: Create the button to start and stop the service.

    Situation: One button works.

    However, whenever I click on another button, the button does not work.

    Question: how to create several classes of cascade?

    or something wrong in my code?

    Mini code:

    Calls a CPP QML.

    ApplicationUI::ApplicationUI (bb::cascades:Application * app): QObject (app)

    {
    QmlDocument * qml = QmlDocument::create("asset:///main.qml").parent(this);

    CameraWrapper * wrapper = new CameraWrapper();

    QML-> setContextProperty ('wrapper', wrapper);

    AbstractPane * root = qml->() createRootObject;
    App-> setScene (root);
    }

    And then, QML calls another RPC.

    import bb.cascades 1.0

    {Page}
    {Of container
    layout: {DockLayout}
    }
    Button {}
    text: qsTr ("Start")
    onClicked: {}
    wrapper.startRec ();
    }
    }
    Button {}
    text: qsTr ("Stop")
    onClicked: {}
    wrapper.stopRec ();
    }
    }
    }
    }

    The main CPP:

    #include "cam.hpp".

    using namespace bb::cascades;

    {CameraWrapper::CameraWrapper()}

    int CameraWrapper::startRec() {}

    This button works.

    }

    int CameraWrapper::stopRec() {}

    This button does not work.

    }

    The main.hpp

    Class CameraWrapper: public QObject
    {
    Q_OBJECT
    public:
    CameraWrapper();
    Virtual ~ CameraWrapper() {}

    Q_INVOKABLE
    int startRec();
    int stopRec();
    };

    Thank you for your attention,

    Finally, we use the thread to solve the problem.

    Solution:

    loopWrapper (void * test) {void *}
    CameraWrapper * a = (CameraWrapper *) test;
    a-> startRec();
    return null;
    }

    setFlagWrapper (void * test) {void *}
    CameraWrapper * b = (CameraWrapper *) test;
    b-> setFlagFalse)
    return null;
    }

    void * CameraWrapper::setFlagFalse (void * arg) {}
    exit_application = false;
    fprintf (stderr, "Flag changed to false\n");
    return arg;
    }

    void CameraWrapper::runLoop() {}
    pthread_create (& thread_a, NULL, & loopWrapper, (void *) this);
    }

    void CameraWrapper::runSetFlag() {}
    pthread_create (& thread_b, NULL, & setFlagWrapper, (void *) this);

    ILLUSTRATOR - when I change the thickness (outline/stroke) (in points) of text/lines/etc by using the icons of arrow (upwards or downwards), the thickness of the line jumps instantly to 1000 pts. How can I adjust the settings to make this feature work, because I really need in many situations. Thanks in advance!

    koenk,

    The current pastor of the corrupt file bug/preferences units seems to be:

    (1) delete your preferences HERE (close HAVE and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup).

    (2) ensure that the parameters English (United States) system locale and the decimal point is. (dot/full stop, no, (comma) when the machine is restarted,)

    (3) launch HAVE again and see if the subject is cured.

    You can see a long discussion here:

  • Does anyone know a shortcut for create/exit points exactly 1 second (or no preset amount) in the source monitor apart?

    Does anyone know a shortcut for create/exit points exactly 1 second (or no preset amount) in the source monitor apart?

    For example, I want to choose a second clip sections of 5 minutes, but do not want to move the points of entry/exit with the mouse in the hand. Would also be useful to several clips where 1 s/exit points have not been established

    Thanks for all the answers!

    Go to preferences and on the set of forward/reverse reading pane, for the number of images you want to move the read head (in this case 60, two seconds):

    And click OK.

    Then put your first marker, then type shift + right arrow to move the playback cursor, the number of images that you entered.

    If you type shift + left arrow , it will move the playback cursor backward the number of images.

  • [4.0 AI2] Without stopping at the points of stop/does any debugger

    When running the debugger in SQL Developer is the debugger immediately connects then disconnects after executing the code WITHOUT stopping at breakpoints or the debugger crashes and only what I choose is to end or for a break.

    The first question that happens much more frequently. I'm trying to debug a procedure in a package where the there are several breakpoints in the code, including at the beginning. After checking my tables in which the procedure is on before and after running the debugger, I can see that the data has been changed so that the debugger ran through the process and run the code without stopping. I have checked the very simple code where the code of breakpoint was called and had the same result.

    IM using 64 bit Win7-

    JDK - 1.7.0 day 40

    The debugger output:

    PL/SQL execution: ALTER SESSION SET PLSQL_DEBUG = TRUE

    Running PL/SQL: CALL the DBMS_DEBUG_JDWP. CONNECT_TCP (' * ',' *')

    Accepted connection of database on the debugger port *.

    Running PL/SQL: CALL the DBMS_DEBUG_JDWP. DISCONNECT()

    Process is complete.

    Disconnecting from the database layout Pro.

    Debugger disconnected from the database.

    Thanks in advance,

    James

    Some basic questions.

    Have you compiled for debug?
    Certainly are breakpoints on lines of code? He has had problems in the past where line numbers are off by one that looks like code is actually a blank line, or a statement.  Try several breakpoints on consecutive lines to be sure.

    You can also set the preference tools |  Preferences | Debugger | Start debugging Option to ' get in '.  That should be limited to the first executable line.

  • Create several clones at a time

    Hello

    I want to prepare the number of virtual machines (i.e. clones or pictures) of the gold statue.

    I develop my own UI where I'll be selecting one of the images existing gold. I will mention a number of clones that I need. When I click on the button, I'll be citing vSphere appropriate web services API to create clones.

    Can someone tell me what do I want to accomplish is feasible or not? Can we create several clones at a time? And that too the use of web services?

    Take a look at CloneVM_Task() , you can certainly deploy several clones at the same time, but you probably want it saving 3-4 as it's pretty resource, especially against your storage space.
