Stop the cc dreamweaver asking to save the new document

How can I disable the dialog box asking me to save a document as soon as I create? I want to create a new document and start to write, and then save it when I'm ready instead of having to save and name it until I really started writing.

Live view mode requires that the document is registered before it can supply the document. To stop the Dreamweaver asking to save the document, edit in Design view.

How to save a Logo in InDesign to use in the new Document?

Hi all
I'm new. Period.
Self-taught.
But learning.
I mistakenly created the logo of our company in InDesign (it was easier in the text how I needed).
Now, I need to 'copy' or save the logo ONLY in the document to be used in a new Document.
What I tried.
1 copied and pasted in Illustrator. Save in Illustrator file ESP. up to the new Document... Everything looks good, except that my lines of gradients are WHITE and the gradient box is all white, and the final spacing line is sized differently.
2 taken from the entire InDesign Document. Copied. Pasted into the new Document. (It is too big) A. Maj + resize with corner of box. -Everything is deformed, text stays the same size, it's horrible. B. scale, Bingo. But I can only evolve at about 85% until there are a few differences OBVIOUSLY NOTICIABLE. My line with gaps some how Expands... but it's really the only noticeable issue.
3. a lot of savings from both Illustrator and InDesign to try to get it instead as an image, but there is still a problem.

Cannot write the new document preset file.

I had problems with the installation of the update. I thought that all my apps are up to date, but then I tried to update to After Effects, which may or may not have been installed on this machine (normally I use it on my old machine, but I had to try new features)
So now I get the error update U44M1l210 - don't know I have this correct because I can't tell what the character in the Center is (between the U44M1 and 210)
I tried delete file as recommended in other threads thing, but it seems that all of us who have been in the past months, and I've seen the suggestion on the opening of the Terminal--but I'm not familiar with the Terminal... Tried installing many times, rebooted several times, closed creative cloud repeatedly (is my frustration showing?)
I think that most of my apps are up to date and I had to stop the FIGHT with installation and try to get some WORK.
In any case, I opened Photoshop and things seem to work OK - but then, when I try to close Photoshop I get this Message:
"Unable to write to the new document presets file."
What does that mean? I spent 2 hours and 49 minutes to attempt to update the applications in the creative Cloud.

InDesign CC closes unexpectedly when you create the new document

Hi, my CC Indesign closes unexpectedly whenever I try to create a new document.
Also, it closes when I use the plugin Blurb Indesign, to create the new document or for download from my books - during the pre-flight, she leaves.
I've updated to CC2015. I also re-installed the plugin blurb. These two measures do not seem to work.
- The InDesign file in the cache folder, delete.
- In the preferences/Adobe InDesign / Version 11.0/en_US (or any language folder you see there), locate the InDesign Defaults file and place it on your desktop (this way you can always copy it back if necessary). If there is a file, InDesign SavedData offers also the office.
- Restart InDesign after doing that, fingers crossed it will launch.
- If you are satisfied with the result and don't need your InDesign preferences previous folder (InDesign Defaults), then delete the two files to the desktop computer. I usually keep a copy of them just in case ;-) But 99% of the time that I do not put them back, as clearing caches and prefs seems very often cure the problems.

Reformats text? When slipped off-page or pasted into the new document

This is the STRANGEST thing... I have a document in InDesign created by someone else. I intend to use it as 'art of seeds' for another pamphlet, but the text is behaving strangely that I try to move or copy and paste in a new default value of the document.
The text changes when I simply drag (or copy) the text off the page on the pasteboard box. Still pallets character and paragraph, text frame options, etc. report the same settings for all the copies text. I have an image on the screen what happens when I copy and place it off-page. The original text is on the right, paste on the pasteboard on the left. (The vertical black line is on the left page). It seems that paragraph space before/after changed, but according to the pallets, he does not.
IF ANY PART OF THE TEXT BOX IS IN CONTACT WITH THE SAME PAGE PER MILLIMETER, IT SEEMS OK. But if the text box is COMPLETELY on the pasteboard, it changes.
If I stick ON a PAGE in a NEW document by default, spacing increases enormously, and yet if I stick on the pasteboard of the new document even, it looks like text on the left, above.
I tried to remove all THE styles from the paragraph of the original document and replace it with no paragraph Style, retain formatting (styles of characters also deletion) and then work with the text. It's always weird.
It is crucial that I retain the formatting of the original document that I create new based on this, but since the pallets/text of paragraph report all data, I can't... FIXED text. We never saw it?
InDesign CS5 Mac OS 10.6.8. Suitcase Fusion 14.0.6 Video Software using, who reported no problems when documents have been opened and on what appear to be the correct fonts. Just in case, I have manually activated ALL our versions of Futura, which made no difference when I have opened the document. (I did what is obvious as the reboot and clear the caches of fonts).

I think you will find that the text is printed to snap to grid. Which is defined, what (and in the case of the first illustration, space or space before after) are the minimum distances between the lines. Each line will be pushed downwards following the next line of the grid.

Name the new document

As part of an AppleScript I develop, I create a new document, I want to give a specific name. So I tried:

However, the document still appears with the name "without title-1. Is it possible to give the document a name when you create? Or can only do you when recording?

I need the same thing and found the answer using the DocumentPreset object.

In JavaScript, I put the name of the new document in the options DocumentPreset and applied when I created the document. getPoints is simply a conversion from inches to points, btw.

Cannot save the new document Pages

I created a new document Pages, but when I tried to save it I got the message "the file"Untitled 4"could not be opened."

In the following discussion, a user named Kreklo suggests activating/deactivating the feature Documents & data in the iCloud settings. To do this, go to system preferences > iCloud > Documents and data. Then remove the check mark, and then check it in again. Then go towards Pages close it and reopen it.

Why the default format window opens in the new documents open in Pages 5.6.1?

Someone else asked this before, but it is with an older version of Pages, and it's a few years, so I thought I'd make a new discussion.

Everytime I open a new document in Pages (version 5.6.1 on OS 10.11.2, on a 13 "Macbook Pro of 2009), the formatting window is open. It's ugly and I do not want to use immediately. What is the default? Like other posters, I tried to create a model that does not do that, but even at the opening with the model, it opens but each time. As in the other poster said: this is not a terrible amount of work, but it is very annoying to do all the time. This has happened for years. A word about the recent patches?

Langer in inches for the new Document in InDesign

My InDesign somehow just decided to change the unit for documents from inches to points. I did not really points so I want to back to inches but have no problems. I think that the way to change the units for new documents should go into preferences - units and increments and change the H and V units there. My preference for units is already defined as inches. And my rules are shown in inches, too. But, when I open a new Document, it shows me always all units in 'p '. After having this problem, I have updated the InDesign CC yesterday, too, but still having the problem. Can anyone help please? Thank you!

Close all open documents, and that only the value your units in CTRL + K, than stop and open the ID.

Photoshop pen pressure only works in the new Document

I'm having a problem where open any document recorded photoshop previously causes the pressure of the pen to stop working. When you open a saved document previously, I have a little guy of caution icon next to any setting defined in regulation of the stylus pressure in the pane of the brush. Hovering over the icon warning gives me a ScreenTip that says "pen pressure control requires the use of a pressure sensitive tablet.
If I open Photoshop and create a new document, everything works fine. But once I open any file created previously, pen pressure completely stops operating until I have restart Photoshop, even if I create a new document from there.
Anyone encounter this? It's really driving me crazy. I use a Cintiq 21UX (driver version 6.3.4 - 3) with Photoshop CC (14.1.1) on a Windows 7 computer.

Recognizing the pressure does not depend on anything in the document.

Contact Wacom, since it seems that their driver returns inconsistent results.

I go in Edition > Preferences > General > uncheck "open documents as tabs in the same window.
I go to adobe to reboot, restart my computer, etc. and every time I open adobe, this box is always checked and new documents open as tabs. HELP PLEASE! It's driving me crazy!

Open the CD player, go to the Help menu and repair the installation.

Now go to Edit > preferences > General > uncheck "Open documents as tabs in the same window", click OK to confirm the changes & revive CD player.

I just got this error message. First time I opened Photoshop CC since the last update. Windows 10. Simply click ok or what?

File > new dialog box in the new file.

Now try the Alt key and where you see the button cancel change to reset, click on it and see if it is fixed.
