stop the email addresses in the table in the spreadsheet to launch mail

I am compiling of data in a worksheet Numbers and many cells in the table into them from the e-mail addresses.

Whenever I tap on the cell that contains an e-mail address, he jumps to my Mail application and launches a new mail with the email address. It's so irritating cos I have to type on any address in the table and I DON'T WANT my Mail App to launch. How can I stop this madness? Help, please!

Drag the column wide (or Panel Format > table > column)

Click on the white space to the right of the link to select this cell without activating the link

    1. unless you are positive you have a 'hacker', consider that you might have a virus that is causing the problems of 110%.
    Run a full scan to ensure that your machine is clean.

    Looks like you need to do a cleaning of your SMTP server settings.

    The menu bar, select Tools-Account Settings-outgoing server (SMTP)

    No menu bar? Press the ALT key.

    Remove the old server and add the right ones for your 2 accounts problem.

    Windows 7 does not come with a native email client. If you do not use Windows Mail or online webmail (Gmail, Yahoo, your email provider's webmail, etc) then you will need to download/install an e-mail client and configure it with the settings of your e-mail provider's server.     You do not have an account with your e-mail provider, and you access this account via Mozilla Thunderbird.

    Move all the messages you want to keep your local folders account. You can create subfolders under "Local folders" to replicate a folder hierarchy, you can have for the account to be deleted.

    Manually create folders, do not try to move entire folders.
    Then copy the messages in a folder at a time.
    Do this by selecting the messages can be completely copied to the source folder. Then a selected message - copy, right-click and choose the destination folder.
    Once the messages have been copied successfully, you can delete them in the source folder.
    Once all messages to be kept have been copied to local folders, safely, you can delete the account.

  • Mail creation of massive log files and stop the synchronization with the server

    Since the upgrade to El Capitan (10.11.1), Mail presents two problems persist:

    (1) it generates massive log files, e.g. 2015-12 - 03_IMAPSyncActivity.log these files regularly exceed 10 GB and block Mail and freeze the Mac. Mail can be over 8 GB of RAM. Once removed, Mail recreates the file and fills again, ends up doing more massive files that must also delete.

    (2) mail stop sync with my different IMAP e-mail servers. The only solution I've found that it completely delete the or the e-mail accounts and reinstalls the account. It works for a day (or even a few hours) before it just stops the synchronization, even if a connection test shows he connects with the server. This problem seems to occur on two e-mail accounts separately on two different servers / hosting companies, but not on my Gmail accounts.

    These two problems occur on both my iMac (21.5 ", mid-2011, 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5, 8 GB RAM) and MacBookPro (13', mid-2011, 2.5 GHz Intel core i5, 4 GB RAM).

    Please take these steps to remove the mail folders 'sandbox '.

    Step 1

    Back up all data.

    Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select this option:

    ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail

    Right-click or Ctrl-click on the highlighted line and select

    Services ▹ Reveal

    the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open up with a folder named "com.apple.mail" selected. If this is the case, move the selected folder - not only its content - on the desktop. Open the window Finder for now.

    Restart the computer. Launch Mail and test. If the problem is resolved, you may have to re-create some of your e-mail settings. Any writing paper custom that you created may be lost. Ask for instructions if you want to keep these data. You can then delete the folder that you moved and close Finder.

    CAUTION: If you change the content of the sandbox, but leave the folder itself in place, Mail may hang or starts any. Remove the tray to sand everything will be rebuilt automatically.

    Step 2

    If step 1 does not resolve the problem, repeat with this line:

    ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.MailServiceAgent

    * If you do not see the item context menu copy the selected text in the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination. In the Finder, select

    Go ▹ go to the folder...

    from the menu bar and paste it into the box that opens by pressing command + V. You won't see what you pasted a newline being included. Press return.

    When I address an e-mail to Henry, who is in my Contacts list with just his first name, it shows as to: Henry on the screen of composition.  The copy stored in the "sent" folder also shows to: Henry.  And when Henry search message, he sees to: Henry.  But when it prints the message, to: 'Henry' * address email is removed from the privacy * is printed (in brackets with arrows that can not be displayed here).  If there is a lot of multiple recipients, printing is a mess with the double-printing the name of each person, followed by the email address.  Is it possible to delete printing e-mail addresses?
