  I'm going to guess that Lightroom sends a 16-bit file to PES.  A significant restriction to post-secondary studies is that there is limited with 16-bit files.  PES, through RAW ACR dialog box, probably open it as an 8-bit file.  I don't remember if you can change it from 16 bit to 8 bit in PSE or if you must configure LR before export.

  N ° unfortunately you can't save layers in the predefined animations. Just the stream property data (effects, masks, and other parameters). So rather than fiddling around with useless external layers, try to achieve your results in a stack of effects, and then save the entire stack in a "Preset".

  I have Premiere Pro 2015.2 installed on a PC in Windows 8.

  The standard cross dissolve works very well. However when I apply the fade crossed to adjustment layers (I do if there is a change in the settings, such as color correction, otherwise there are a white flash in the middle of it) the cross dissolve is no longer working properly.

  1. use the settings panel and press the Alt/Option key while clicking on the adjustment layer icon

  (Window > adjustments)

  

  2 hold down the Alt/Option key and click fill or create a new adjustment layer at the bottom of the layers panel, then click on the layer of setting of choice

  Looks like "No. thumbnails" is selected in the layers panel.  Right-click in an empty spot under the layers and choose your thumbnail size.
