• "Start new Thread" is absent most of the time

  I'm not new to Dell Community, however, I post here in desperation of shear.

  I consider myself a person of intelligence average and the average Visual acuity.  I did not understand why sometimes I see the link "Start new Thread" and at other times, I would not.  I thought that there are a few steps to find what I didn't know.  I thought maybe the few times wherever I found it, it was by an unknown action, that I had taken.

  This morning I wanted to see a poster of beginner in another forum of the community on this community forum.  I tried looking for information before giving it to the other poster.  I have spent the last hour looking for this and other tips from the top downwards, for the link to start a new Thread.  I even read the how-to Post wikii and came out of the magnifying glass.  I couldn't find these 3 words!

  Then suddenly, after looking the other boards and back here, these 3 words were in plain view.  It's the durnest thing I've ever seen.  Sometimes the link is visible and sometimes it isn't!  What can I do for a beginner to this community when I have used Dell forums for 2 years, is having difficulty posting?

  What is someone having the same problem?  Whatever the issue, I will be very happy when it is fixed, it is very frustrating and time consuming!

  Changed computers & previously my name appears at the top left when I printed an email. Work in a large office, and all use the same printer, so now when I print an email its not so easy to find.

  Select E-mail
  File > print preview
  a window opens showing email print.

  Click on the "Page Setup" button
  Click on the tab "margins & header/footer".

  Under "headers and footers".
  Click the first drop-down - menu and select "Custom... '
  by default it usually says "Title", which refers to the "subject".
  A small window will open allowing you to "' enter your custom header / footer text '."
  Enter your name and click OK

  The preview window is updated so that you can see the changes.

  It's just a data integrity error.
  Make sure that the column to which your using the box check should have or the other value in each record so that even you uncheck or check out will be one of value and, LOV has no effect on this.

• So, most of the time Thunderbird opens only incoming messages with a double click in a new window, which I find infuriating is there a workaround or a fix for this solution?

  At the start of Thunderbird, it opens the mail entering the lower panel with one click. But after an hour or two that no longer works and I have to double-click to open the message that is sent in a new window.

  Looks like a bad add-on for me. Now restart the SHIFT key and see if the issue arises again.

• All new Satellite Pro L300D crashes all the time

  I'm a little base when it comes to laptops.
  I just bought this new L300D to ebuyer

  I started and I have an anti-virus etc. But without apparent reason, the computer crashes.
  The only way out is pressed the switch out. Everything is frozen.

  It will do about 2 times and then after restarting it seems to work ok.

  I got windows to its original by HARD drive recovery settings and it did make a difference.
  I am as I say not a computer wizz.

  Can someone tell me how I can stop it crashing, it's really annoying.

  I mean that the Windows operating system could break sometimes without any serious reason, sometimes a software compatibility issue might be the reason why the OS freezes.

• Errors on the creation of a new subject in RH9 (9.02 Patch)

  Have found that when you create a new topic in RH9 project on the mistakes of 3018 and 3111 of the construction project are presented.

  Seems that the error is caused by the introduction of Page break in the word document to the entry into force of the subject.  Earlier versions of HR would insert a new topic as well: - (Note correct placement of the Page Break and "Keep with next" a paragraph mark).

  I found the work around to this problem is to correct the HC3018 error first of all in: -.

  • Place the cursor at the beginning of the subject line preceded of the symbol #.
  • BACKSPACE to delete the "Keep with next" [brand of ph to a point where the mark is removed, position properties are removed the title of the topic and the indication of Page break now extends across the page.
  • With the cursor at the beginning of the new subject line preceded by the symbol #, reapply the paragraph "Keep with next" command  This applies to the command on the "Page break" line.
  • Reapply the style of title to the subject line.  He's now looking at this line: -.

  

  • Re-build the project. 3018 and 3111 error messages now both disappeared.

  Yet another bug in this version doubt now.

  Here is the solution that I use:

  -Open Word Options for the document

  -Select "Advanced".

  -Scroll to the bottom of the list and select 'Layout Options.

  -Do scroll to the bottom of the list, and then search up to about 20 lines or so "Split apart page break and paragraph mark"

  -Select this check box and then click OK to exit.

  This solution came from a helpful Lady on the forum are a year back

  Would be nice if this could be defined as a default for new documents. I don't see how to do this.  Maybe somebody.

  TAB through the fields that exist. It is the function of the TAB.

  Otherwise you could never use TAB to go out in a field for example: subject. It would create an indefinate number of fields and are unable to function as a TAB key.

  TAB does not back to THE fields,
  New crests to THE fields or donkey typing/selection enter/return address, you can use the selection of mouse click.
