Help! Data recovery!

Hi all

My laptop was working fine when suddenly it became very slow access to the data for a couple of days. The next Win7 has not loaded up. Now I can't even the Dell BIOS screen upwards and the course when I turn it on. Just a black screen (is powered but).

I thought that it would be a software problem or a virus, so I brought a small repair shop. The guy said that when he connected the HARD drive up to his machine, he makes noises and he couldn't access my data. He said that I should replace the HARD drive and to recover my data, I could send the HARD drive damaged in a laboratory where they could use their spare parts instead of those damaged to perform the data recovery for me, but it would cost around HKD$ 5,000 (USD$ 650).

This sounds a little expensive. I recently bought an external DRIVE to backup drive and had not saved all my files at this point. My Dell warranty missed just after it happened so I don't have the chance to call on this subject. If anyone knows of any company that will perform the recovery of data on my HARD drive (or Dell will do it for a lower price), please let me know: I am desperate at this point!

Thanks for taking a peek

Wes

Data recovery is very expensive.  The price is relatively cheap compared to the prices I saw here in the United States.

It's lesson on the conduct of periodic backup on an external device.

Dell, to my knowledge, offers no service recovery.

HP Pavilion DV 6108 NR, RG365UA, purchased late 2006 at best buy, with Windows XP, upgrade to Service Pack 3. It has a Fujitsu 60 GB HDD partitioned into C: and a D: Recovery.

Windows tries to start, but goes to a blue screen with the message: "Unmountable Boot Volume" for a second, then just guard recycling until I force a shutdown.

Phoenix BIOS, hard drive test result: "Fail #1-08".

I ran a program to drive on the Cdrive analysis/recovery and it seems to show the directory structure intact, and he was able to recover some files. I used the free Seagate (which only retrieves the small files). The second pass only works so well and in the third set as the program says that I should not go further, and I need to contact a professional drive recovery company.

However, drive D seems to be intact, so I wonder if the disc is damaged or just one aspect of the logical drive C is bad.

How can I get the D: to run recovery on it software? The recovery discs, made by Best Buy, just proceed to the R / F / Q option screen, and when I press R, I get a blue screen every time.
Pressing the F10 key at startup bothers me nowhere. Ditto the key F11.

I don't like hard disk; This is the data (files, documents, images, etc.) that I want to.

  • Help to remove the partition on a hard drive and data recovery

I have two hard drives in my PC, the C: drive is 80 GB, and the F: drive is 120 GB.  The second drive (120 GB) is divided into two partitions.  I just deleted the partitions and makes the hard drive again in a single disc, however I had some important files on the F: drive that I thought I had copied to the C: drive but they are not there.  Is there anyway that is using the software I can return the drive to two drives and recover my data, please help

    Hello

First of all, do not use the hard drive. This can make things sunk. A few things may already be unrecoverable. I would even delete the drive letter to stop inadvertently automated processes to use.

There are two ways I can think of.

    1. buy a partitioning software disk that supports the undelete partition. On windows XP PartitionMagic was a very good product if symantec will still sell it. Given that Symantec has continued to develop, I had to switch to product partition Paragon. Sound was trash to some things, cloning in particular a double boot with loads of partitions - it has an undelete function which I didn't use. The fact that you have created a new partition could mean that the restoration may not work. You may need to delete the current, probably empty, partition everything first and then perform the restoration.

    2. buy a data recovery software that will scan the hard drives, including the unpartitioned space. I chose R-Studio and it was very good stuff even recovery from hard drives that fail. It was not 100% effective, but it is perhaps down to the severity of failure rather than the product. In situations like yours, it was very effective.

Please mark this as useful or response if applicable.

hhaving problems with my app Apple Watch (watch OS 2.2) of the iPhone data recovery 6 (iOS 9.3.4). When I click on various watch apps - FaceBook Messenger, Messages, etc., they seem to take forever to recover data. I tried to restart watch it and iPhone without any improvement.

If I remove the applications from the watch and then reinstall them this solves the problem for a short time.

    Ahy suggestions?

    Hello

For best performance of your devices, make sure that both Bluetooth and Wi - Fi are enabled on your iPhone (and keep them permanently active).

Also, make sure that you have installed the latest versions of all applications (on your iPhone: App Store > updates). To install updates for the associated Apple Watch applications also automatically, select automatic App install (on your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > General > App Install).

It can help to disable the twinning and re - pair your watch. The app shows on your iPhone takes a backup of your watch automatically when the disparity with the app choose to restore from backup during the whole upward. Most of the data and settings will be restored, with a few exceptions (for example cards Pay Apple, access code):

In the future, notes that new arrivals under watch OS 3 - software update that is should be out this fall / Fall - include much faster loading of your favorite applications, including applications to launch immediate up-to-date information.

  • SSHD Toshiba MQ01ABD100H - Firmware / data recovery problem

    Hello!
I have the mission critical data on a MQ01ABD100H of Toshiba to SSHD which was in a Sony VAIO for less than one year who decided to stop working from one day to the next. All I care about is the data. A professional data recovery company apparently reputable rated player, told me that it was a "mechanical failure", said they could recover the data and gave me a quote of $1500.00. A week later I was told something different; They said the platters and heads seem to agree and the problem seems to be on the circuit board and/or flash drive, and they didn't know how to recover the data. They told me that they have consulted Toshiba too. I asked them if they replaced the pcb Board and they would not tell me or answer questions more. I have the drive in my hands and am looking for options. I really believe that my data is recoverable if the trays are okay, right?

Here's what I know for sure; the bios of the machine of Sony VAIO Windows 8.1, correctly recognizes the drive. However, it does not start and is not accessible or recognized with cmd prompt Windows 8.1 UEFI options. The drive is not encrypted. After putting the reader into an external enclosure and its connection to another Win8.1 machine, the player starts with no extreme sounds of survey. Slowly, she clicks a few times as if the heads are looking, but then calms down and keeps running quietly. I have installed a Data Rescue PC3 software that recognizes the drive and its attributes correctly but can't read or clone. I have the Partition Wizard software mini tool, which recognizes the drive correctly, but shows the drive as being unreadable.

That's what I'm trying to do. I'm looking for a donor on mine, with the same model drive, date, firmware, site, number of PCBS, hard drive code.

Now, here is my unknowns and I appreciate everyone a preview with these. If I change the pcb edge myself, I need still more likely transfer the firmware for the new Board of Directors, even if I try it without doing it. I don't know where the firmware is stored, is there a rom chip or is it stored in the Flash Player. I'm not certain if, with this model of SSHD, if this can be done with replacement of the chip or the software? If it is stored on the Flash drive how is available independent of the HHD part? Must the reader Flash itself be harvested? But what happens if the flash player is bad, how can the firmware ever be recovered? Any ideas anyone? ... other than myself shot in the head, I'm kidding. I think that this may be a common problem that will often not resolved.

I have the drive in my hands and am looking for options. I really believe that my data is recoverable if the trays are okay, right?

I am not an expert but if applications cannot access the data and cannot read data from the SSHD then you will need professional help...

I found the storage Toshiba page where you could get details on this SSHD

    Mate good luck...

  • Satellite A100 - hard drive data recovery

    Hello

I recently tried to help a friend for his Toshiba Satellite A100 data recovery, died on this screen.
I thought this would be a task simply remove the hard drive and put a HARD drive caddy and attaching it to another computer.

    This doesn't seem to work.
Can I put the hard drive in the computer and I can hear start the computer to the top and was able to see it with a LCD display. I was able to delete the data in this way, so we're safe.

My question is why do we seem to remove the disc and see on another computer?
I guess it must be an interface or format the laptop can be used for the recovery section and cannot therefore be seen as a normal drive.

If I could not delete the data because say the motherboard is dead. Is it possible to be able to see the data on another computer.

    E-mail: [[email protected]]

    > My question is why do we seem to remove the disc and see on another computer?

Of course you can do if you want to use a symbol external USB SATA controller (external HARD drive) you should be able to connect to another computer.
But if the HARD drive is faulty, it will not work.

    Thank you

    Hi there @Brotocol,

Thank you for joining the Forums HP's Support and welcome! It is a great place to ask questions, find solutions and get help from others in the community! I read your post on the Forums of HP Support. I wanted to join you and help! I understand that you had the recovery of data on a USB key, put it on another hard drive and you want to know if you can take on this hard drive again.

Due to software licenses, only a set of recovery disks can be created. This means that you could have done a copy USB or CD/DVD of it only. There is no way for you to get off the other hard drive to use it now.

You will need toget a USB HP recovery disc or HP recovery disks. Please follow the provided document and follow the steps to order recovery media if you need.

  • Speed of data recovery of DIAdem data base using data Finder Toolkit in LabVIEW

I have developed a LabVIEW code using the toolkit OR database search to extract the data from the tiara. I formed queries for data extraction. But data recovery takes more time to retrieve the data.

I have attached my image of LabVIEW code with this post. In what I circled the VI 'Waveform results', which is the VI toolkit database search that takes more time for extraction. My trial, application takes only a few milliseconds to run, but 'Results to Waveform.vi' takes about 35 seconds. I also want to run the same type of search for 5 times. In total, it will be taken approximately 1.5 minutes to 2 minutes for the execution.

Is there another alternative way to do this research? Kindly help me to resolve this.

    Thank you

    Driss

    Hi Nanda,

If you want to extract all the data channel of each channel group you can use the channel group object type of result for the Query.vi to run instead of the channel.

When you load the channels through its channels of content groups are treated as a unit and the loading process should be faster. Hope that helps.

    Kind regards

I was ibvaded by a program? calls the data recovery. He wants 87,50 USD to fix my problem. (WHAT PROBLEM? OTHER THAN THEIR INVASION?) Now I have wrnings as "sector of disk not found". I tried the system restore, but no luck.

    Hello

    (1) have there been recent changes to the computer before the show?

I suggest you analyze your computer Microsoft Safety Scanner, it will help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • Usb drive data recovery software

Suggest me a data recovery software that can help me get my files lost from my USB. Cheap and best is my expectation!

    Try these, they are free:

    http://www.SnapFiles.com/get/Recuva.html

Recuva is a file undeletion tool that allows you to analyze your hard drives or media cards for files that have been deleted or formatted. It presents you a list of files that have been found, as well as an assessment of their potential for recovery, a preview option, and a hex viewer to inspect the content. You can limit your search to files of a certain type (e.g. images, audio etc.) and choose between a quick and a thorough analysis approach. The program also includes a secure deletion option that allows you to permanently delete files that were found while parsing, to avoid any future recoveries.

  • data recovery, which is losing vista recovery form

assistance dear, my problem is that our data from laptop has been lost after restoring to factory vist dated 09/03/09
so kindly help me on my data recovery which is very import for us. somebudy advised me that your previous data can recover with the help of the vista registry or another tool of vista, so I have no idea about this tool so kindly give me the step well can I work.
I want to go to the office windows dated back where can I get our data lost, hope, you understand my problem.

    awaiting your response earlier.

If you did a factory restore where everything is set as if you had purchased your laptop from the computer store, you can forget the Vists system restore because all previous restore points will have been dashed.

If you continued to use the computer, your chances of recovering anything are falling fast outside. There are free programs but you must use them almost as soon as the data is wound up.

Easy Recovery Professional 6.12 is the only product you could buy that would take no chance of working, but it costs about $700.

The last alternative is to take the hard drive from the computer to a professional data recovery service, but it will cost you $$$.  Mike Hall MVP - Windows Experience http://msmvps.com/blogs/mikehall/

If the disk target hard is physically damaged as you say, you cannot receive it yourself. You would need to send it to a professional data recovery company. I use savers by car, but there are others. General prices run from $500USD on-site. Investors recovered all disk data on a portable player that failed for one of my clients, and it cost $2 700. He thought that it was worth the money; only you know what's worth your data. I understand that some insurance companies now cover fresh data recovery so check with yours.

  • This allows backup, data recovery and AntiVirus Server

    Hello

Am new to the CWC and I wanted to know if there is an option in the CWC to enable backup, Server data recovery and install Antivirus for commissioning a virtual machine of the CWC. It would really help if someone could share some links for the same or any document available to her.

    Thank you

    Anish

Anish, don't know if this is related to your original question, but if I understand correctly, you want to know how to configure which models are available for users to order. This first through these images through CloudSync automated discovery. Then, the supplier (CPTA) uses the portlet to manage an Infrastructure of Cloud Computing for review 'Discovered' templates/images and mark them as "Registered" or "ignore". Only "Registered" models can be selected when ordering a virtual machine. "Registered" items can be removed temporarily from the selection by putting in "Maintenance" mode

Can someone help me understand the problem? any help would be appreciated.

    Newspapers say it all: "26/07/2012 10:23:19: independent labels 'vm-153." "" [datastore1] vm1/vm1.vmdk "unsaved."

This VMDK is configured as independent VMDK, independently discs are "made not snapshot ' type of drives and because of this VDR will not back up these disks.

First of all you need to know why this drive is configured as apolitical, apolitical fashion isn't really necessary then stop VM and remove "Apolitical" mode option of this hard drive in the hardware configuration of the VM.
