  • Outlook Express could not be started. The application was unable to initialize the store directory. Your computer may be out of memory or your disk is full. Error code: 0 x 80007114

Operating system Windows XP, at startup, I get the message: "Outlook Express could not be started. The application was unable to initialize the store directory. Your computer may be out of memory or your disk is full"and displays the error code: 0 x 80007114.  (I have a new drive hard with enough space) Outlook Express always open well and functioning normally.  The message mentions and how to fix the problem?  Thank you, Rick

Jump here (nothing Bruce suggested is false), I did a search and found this old article (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/245419), which indicates that there is a bad entry under the identity key in the registry (see www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx for background).  So if it's a big problem, you can do the steps suggested in this article and that will fix it.  Or if you have just one account, then backup your settings and the identity key and then delete the identity key and then start OE and it will establish a new, and you can then set up your account again, and then import the messages from the older directory.  But it does not indicate the major corruption, so you can just ignore it.

Probably the best place to start is the right forum for your product. This is the forum for Distiller Server, a product used by corporations long dead, and probably not what you have. If you can't find the right forum, please let us know the FULL name of what you paid for (Please check your invoice, as Adobe have a lot of similar products), and we may be able to direct you. • [Performance] Data store Virtual disk LUN or a raw device

We try to find the solution the faster for one of our internal systems.

Currently, we have a data store that is located in a SAN iSCSI via a virtualdisk file.

Since we want to benefit the maximum of iSCSI SAN configuration, we want to know what solution is faster:

-Via the data as virtual disk (diskfile) store

-Via direct LUN mappingl (mapping RAW)

I searched the documents, but it is impossible to find the figures/numbers how much performance gain, we would be able to get.

Us don't use clichés (and do not use then as well), and what other pinpoints should I also everything by making the decision to change the architecture?

There may be some performance improvements, you can do in your env, but they come from VMDK of RDM.

  • Satellite L500-1XL does not start successfully - stay in loop

The above machine was working fine until today.

Then when I turned on, it just sat on the Toshiba page, asking me to press F2 or F12.
I didn't know what to do so I ran the recovery disk (factory) which all seems to install ok but...

Now when I turn it on, it displays the original Toshiba start screen and stays there until I manually have to press F12 to select boot from the hard drive.
From there, it takes me to the Windows Boot Manager and I have to select the windows operating system 7.

Next, I get the "start windows for the first time" screen for a minute or two until it restarts and I have to press F12 again.
It repeats just all this and more in the loops.

I tried the recovery disk, but the same thing happens.

I went into the bios and made sure the hard drive is set as the first boot device and I put the bios by default, but nothing seems to make any difference.

    Any help/advice greatly appreciated.

    > I've been into the bios and made sure the hard drive is set as the first boot device and I put the bios by default, but nothing seems to make any difference.
Hmm. It was my idea I thought that maybe the HARD drive has not been chosen as first boot device, but it seems that this is not the case.

I m wondering why you should choose Win 7 in the Boot Manager. Usually, there is only a single OS installed and boot manager should not appear but Win 7shoudl automatically load

I think you should form the HARD drive once more should be deleted all partitions and then you should try Notepad recovery using the recovery disk
If that is not enough then I recommend you HARD drive. Perhaps it fails and the new HARD drive would be necessary.

    Anthony,

-You have upgraded to Windows 8.1?

I suggest you to refer to the methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Found an MSDN link which is useful for application problems after the upgrade to Windows 8.1.

    Check out the link: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/notime/archive/2013/10/21/10458031.aspx

    Method 2:

I suggest you delete the Windows Store cache and check how it works.

    (a) press Windows + R logo

    (b) type wsreset.exe in the run window, and then press ENTER.

    Method 3:

Define the Apps approved in third program Antivirus- If you have a third party AV program installed, check its settings to make sure that the app Store works is not changed to be approved. If the AV program has the app as unreliable, it will block and prevent opening the app.

    Let us know the status.

There is currently no way to remove these. Microsoft has considered leaving them there it would be easier to reinstall if you ever wanted to.  Hope this helps and if you need any additional aid station and we will be happy to help you

  • Automatic repair of your PC/preparation loop diagnosis

My mother bought me a laptop HP LT already installed with Windows 8. I brought home, has started up and now it is in an infinite loop "Diagnose your PC" and "prepare the AutoFix. How can I fix it?

    Hello

Good to know that you are working on Windows 8.

I see that the laptop only is stuck with an endless loop of "Diagnose your PC" and "prepare the AutoFix.

Did you change the cell beforehand, this problem started?

I suspect that the issue could be with the hard drive.

As he is again a notebook HP LT, it should be under warranty, so I suggest you to contact HP support.

    It will be useful.

  • Windows 8 Store - drop on 'Your apps' is duplicated

In my Windows 8, when I open the store, right click, go to 'Your applications', the drop-down list duplicated options for my PC. See below.

Why is this? How can I solve this problem and have only 1 option to display in the drop-down list, for my PC?

    Thank you

    Hi Leo,

This would happen because of some sort of corruption in the user account.

Click on the below mentioned link to remove the redundant entry.

Note: Check the title that reads to remove a PC from your account also read the Notes from the above link.
