Strange blue frames around image rollovers in Firefox

I get the blue frames around graphics reversal in Firefox, but not IE or Netscape usually once they were clicked. One stay, others disappear. Any ideas what is the cause? All are jpg files and seek to be lining up properly.

I know a css patch that may help, although usually I see the same thing in IE so I don't know if this is the solution for you.

Try to add to your css:
IMG {}
border: none;
}
a {}
outline-style: none;
}

Browsers adds by default outlines / borders. If you see this when you click on the images, you can look in the visited css pseudo classes if you have them set to the site.

Let us know if this does not solve your problem, if someone can help you troubleshoot further.

  • Images flown in Dreamweaver CS6 display blue frame in Internet Explorer...

    Hello

    I created a few buttons very easy flipping in Photoshop and arranged them in Dreamweaver images flown over to use as a navigation bar.

    They appear correct in all browsers except Internet Explorer - they appear with a blue frame around?  The resident of the table is set to 0...

    My Dreamweaver knowledge is very limited so apologies if there is a very simple solution to my problem :-)

    Thanks a lot for your suggestions.

  • Search function does not work correctly (it does not mark the words found, instead, he built a light blue frame); When you open the PDF with Foxit, the search function works.

    Hello

    I use a PC (not a MAC). The document that I have a problem with emerged on a Word Document. I opened it using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

    When I tried to search for a Word, it worked. He scored the first word matching my search. As I pressed Enter to get results, he built a clear blue frame around large parts of the text presenting the result somewhere in the framework:

    Suchfunktion_Adobe.png

    When more pressing enter, the frame moves to the right or expands, but no other match is found. I tried to open the same file with Foxit pdf and here the function works correctly (marking all the matches one by one).

    Unfortunately, I can't tell all my customers to use Foxit. They all use Adobe and are complained about the search function.

    The size of the document is 9,32 MB and contains 324 pages.

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi Sarah,.

    We've fixed the problem. Where a person has the same question:

    When you create a pdf file in Word (by "save under" and select 'PDF (*.pdf)' as the type of document)), you can click on the 'Options' button... "When you want to have a tree structure of your pdf file.

    In the 'Options' dialog box, select "Create bookmarks to help: ' (I so always use 'Headings') and UNCHECK"Document structure for accessibility tags '.

    Then you will have problems with the whitin your structured pdf search function.

    It's a problem with Word.

    Thanks for your time!

    Kind regards

  • Frame around a user icon?

    I created two user accounts.  An administrator and a Standard.  At the logon screen, two photo icons consist of the image framed by what I can best describe as a monitor, so that they each resemble pictures on a TV/monitor screen.  So far nothing unusual.  But one of them, the Standard account icon, has an additional, unique, line the rectangular frame surrounding it.  Can someone tell me what this indicates this icon?  I have created additional accounts to see if they got this extra framing around them.  They do not have.

    I found the answer on another forum.  Thanks for the help.  Here's the answer;

    This framework has nothing to do with the question of whether it is a standard or
    Administrator account. Once you have a second active account
    (it could be a guest account), the second image is to indicate
    the selected account. If you use the slider to select the account,
    It does not matter, but you can use your cursor, then
    Press enter as well.

    I didn't know until I started in Vista and created two standard
    accounts, an alphabetical order before my real account and one after.
    When I rebooted, all three accounts have been displayed on the screen
    (one of the new accounts had a password and the other does not
    in case that makes a difference) the one on the left was more the
    second line of frame around it. Then I could move this line with my
    left/right cursor keys to select the account I want to boot into.

    UPDATES: check my Windows 7 computer (set up a second user)
    This is true as well. In XP, active users are willing
    vertically and selected one is highlighted by a darker blue
    highlight around the id user, fading of the light blue background
    to the right. In both cases, the cursor keys can be used to change
    the selected user. On XP, the password box is presented to the
    the selected user in Windows 7 and Vista, the password box is only
    presented after you hit enter or click on it.

  • New CSS Rollovers aligns not even like Image Rollovers - Dreamweaver CC

    I've set up a test page replacing Javascript Image rollover CSS Image Rollovers and the alignment of the elements in the 3 columns (DIVS) is not the same as when reversals of old style. I can't find the error in my CSS and I would like another pair of eyes to see if I'm missing something. Here is the screenshot of the new Firefox page, followed by the CSS. Load images in #sidebar1 (left column), #sidebar2 (right column) and #MainContent. #MainContent appears off centered and #sidebar off margins are different. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Oops, looks like you do not have the text-align: center in your sidebar, all classes you need to do is pass the display: block display: Inline-block for all these id'd tags to get centered.

  • strange blue box

    Hello

    Does anyone know why I would have a blue box around one of my images located in a table? I use dreamweaver and can not understand. She (the blue box) is not displayed when previewing in safari, but it does on firefox... The image is a link to a menu and is wrapped in a < a > tag...

    I checked the code, but really nothing is displayed and the option to validate the code into dreamweaver also reveals nothing.

    Thank you!

    Grand...
    It works!

  • Strange blue tint only seen in some programs - Windows 7

    Hello

    My computer running Windows 7.  My laptop is only 2 years.

    About a week or two ago, I noticed that some of my image-art-photo consultation programs (Photo Viewer Windows, Windows Photo Gallery [uninstall] and Adobe Photoshop Elements 10) on my computer all of a sudden had a sort of strange blue-tint (Blues are more dark green have a bluish tint to them) to the images?  This strange hue is NOT seen in the preview of images images (as well you view them from the folder), is not apparent on Microsoft Paint, Power Point, Word, or even on the internet.  He is also seen if I open programs on a second monitor.  The hue appears on my laptop.  In all other programs, EXCEPT these two, the images looked exactly like how they had looked at a few weeks before this change suddenly.  When I open the Windows Photo Viewer, the hue is apparent.  When I open 10 EPA, the hue is apparent.  I know that's not the programs, because I have not changed anything with them.

    To summarize, this strange colour blue did not appear before a week or two ago.  I have not changed anything on Windows or EPA 10 Photo Viewer.  The hue appears on my laptop screen and only on the images themselves (not whole screen).  When I opened these programs on a separate monitor, the colors are fine.

    I have to run even though some Windows updates.  Unfortunately, I fell a little on my computer was updated, so I got a few months (end of October 2012) value of updates to do.  I looked at everything just uninstall all updates and see if the problem that will be resolved, but I wanted to see if there was a simpler solution first.

    Thank you

    GG

    Hello

    Restore the system to an earlier point before installing updates.

    System Restore can return your files system to a point in time before you noticed a problem, without affecting documents, photos, or other personal files. If the system restore does not resolve the problem, you can undo the restore operation and choose a different restore point.

  • can you place a mount or a frame around you photos

    You can place a mount or a frame around your photos in LR

    There is no function in the Lightroom Develop module. In the print module, it is possible to create a border of race, and you can adjust the width of the border. But there is no provision for the creation of a frame around an image.

  • How can I get rid of the blue box around hotspots?

    Hello

    I added three hotspots to this Web site, but after clicking on them he let a not-so-nice blue box around them.

    http://chanlegge.com javascript:; http://chanlegge.com/

    I would like to point out also that they appear for me in Safari and Chrome, but not Firefox.

    I'm a complete Blockhead when it comes to webdesign (as you can see, the site is essentially just two JPEG files) and don't know CSS etc, but I hope that there is a simple way to avoid these. Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance,

    Johnny

    In fact, it is a function of web accessibility.  The active state of the focus on the link shows people where they are.  You don't like it, but it serves a purpose.

  • Blue guide around the box type

    I'm working on a file that was originally a windows InDesign file. Any box that is drawn with the text, rectangle or rectangle frame tool tool has a blue guide around it. How can I get rid of him? This does not happen if I am in a document I created.

    type box.png

    The framework has an applied text wrapping. If this happens with every object you create, the creator of the file set dressing on nothing selected, making it the default value for this document.

    To get rid of the wrapping of text on your current items, select them (one by one or as many as you can) and clear the text wrapping in the Panel text wrapping.

    To get back to nothing for new objects, make sure that you have not selected and deselect the text wrapping option in the Panel text wrapping.
