  Last night all of my entries on my calendar I simply disappeared. I can still see them on my iPad. I use my calendar daily daily, if so very problematic, but also very strange that all and I mean all, inscriptions on iCal disappeared after being there every day. Suggestions anyone?

  According to iCloud: limits for Contacts, calendars, reminders and bookmarks - Apple Support:

  • Total number of calendars, events and reminders: 25 000
  • Maximum number of calendars and recall lists you can have combined: 100
  • Maximum size of all data from calendar and reminder (not including attachments): 24 MB
  • The maximum size of all attachments to the event: 300 MB
  • The maximum size of a calendar event, including attachments: 20 MB
  • Maximum number of attachments per event: 20
  • Maximum number of participants, you can invite to an event: 300
  • Maximum number of people with whom you can share a private calendar: 100
  • Maximum number of characters in a title of reminder: 100

  Perhaps one of these limits is exceeded?

  

• BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Torch synchronize with iCal

  For some strange reason my Blackberry Torch will not synchronize with iCal.  I have new items entered on iCal which don't tranasfer despite the fact that I have synced to the phone with my Mac.  I am Lion, Blackberry desktop version 2.3.1 and I iCloud off on my Mac.  I tried the device Option forget, deleted iCal calendar items and to set up a new calendar and events imported again.  Still no luck.

  I've recently upgraded to El Cap, 10.11.6, on my MacBook, and everything was great, except for iCal. Now when I go to open it, the icon in the toolbar bounces, him point appears behind her and the calendar tabs appear at the top of my screen; However, there is no calendar window that appears... • Why a strange alphabet does not appear when I type in an address box. Integration is slow and hesitant and numbers and letters are often repeated on their own?

  I use the new Sierra, but the problem predates this.

  Is this normal, or is there a problem? Recommend a fix?

  I'm on Mac mini (mid-2011) and a screen LCD Dell UltraSharp U2913WM 29 inches.

  This seems to be quite normal. The windows are translucent, and what I see, this is the result of the image behind the window.

  It was the same thing in El Capitan (and, I suppose, Yosemite, as well).

  You can go to system preferences - > accessibility-> display and select "reduce transparency" if it bothers you.

• iCal 'server error' and '509' error

  For the last two days, when I try to add or edit an event in iCal I get the warning triangle and when I click it I get "server responded with"509"operation CalDAVMoveEntityQueueableOperation". If I go back to the server, I get the same message. I can't seem to make changes stick.

  Today, I decided to try and go straight to the calendar on iCloud. I can even add an event there - it says "Server error, please try again."

  At the same time (so) calendars are not sync between devices (3 desktop computers and 1 laptop all connected to my iCloud).

  I SCREW on this calendar - how can I fix?

  I also have this problem. Please advise, this is a crucial issue. We have several iMac/Macbook Pro and we all calendars in iCal with the iCloud accounts and it is essential that we share your calendars with each other.

• Had a strange pop up this morning on a random in sign.

  This morning when I woke up, I saw a pop up saying ple ID was used to connect in another part of the world. I don't know her so I clicked to change my password immediately. Hours later, I got a strange email on my account and click on it to see what email address was before clicking on a link and it certainly isn't Apple. When these two things that happened on the same day, is that pop up that I received this morning legitimate? I'm afraid now that a conditioned hacker pop in my phone to see my account information. Note, I'm 10 IOS and my phone did not have a jailbreak done. I could be over reacting, but due to my acct seen my CC on file, I want to be sure I'm safe.

• Window Popup with strange characters when you want to play music from the cloud

  When I try to play music on the cloud (music downloaded on my computer), I get a popup with some strange characters. It was working fine 2 days ago. Nothing has changed on my computer. I tried uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling. Shows the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

  PS - all anti-virus software are up and running.

  As an addendum, I tried to download music (by clicking on the cloud icon, which then shows an arrow pointing downwards). This popup has shown once again.

  Then I thought maybe it was having a problem with my account or my computer don't think she was allowed. So I checked my account login, and I was connected. Then I tried allowing my computer and this popup appeared again. I then tried my scroll wheel and it seems that it is a right screen. I guess that is the lower right button 'accept' but I'm not confident in the present.

• Terminal opens by itself; strange warning messages

  I have a Mac Pro Tower in early 2009. It worked very well under El Capitan, but recently several things that I cannot explain and that he wanted to see if others have problems and how they have dealt with them. It's strange because I never opened the terminal. I'm scared :-) the terminal twice I found a warning on the screen when I sit down in the morning to use the computer. I have attached two examples to the present note. I was wondering if someone could help decipher. If someone is trying to hack into my computer, I don't know what is happening or how to fix and protect.

  You have not said why or what you're trying to install so I can't help with that.

  You can use the activity monitor to leave their.

  After you select an item, use the X in a type of stop sign icon and confirm force quit.

• multiply the iCal events

  I use icloud for synchronization between my ical / Apple calendar on a 9.3.5 and a MPB, an iMac 10.10 10.7.5 iPhone. Problem is that a lot of events multiplied since I started about 3 weeks. Multiply which means sometimes create copies in 20-30 of the same event inside the same calendar. If this isn't to have dual calendars as support articles that I could find are assuming that - it is about events within a calendar multiplying like mouse. I can sit and delete them manually, but it is an act very very annoying and time consuming, especially if you consider that - at least less 10.10 to name more developed MacOs version - there is no calendar event list display. I also tried to move these duplicates for a new schedule, that I named 'REMOVE' to remove all in a bunch, but that lead only to 509 CalDAVMoveEntityQueueableOperation errors, so I skipped that. Given that some of the events included e-mail invitations, I also don't want to have one of my customers receive 50 emails to have a deleted or cancelled appointment which in fact and btw takes place nevertheless. So what am I supposed to do? Anyone else with similar experiences or even a solution to this?

  And this has been of no help- get help with iCloud in dual calendars - Apple Support?

  If the problem is still there, try to start safe mode using your usual account.  Disconnect all devices except those necessary for the test. Shut down the computer and then put it up after a 10 second wait. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the SHIFT key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. Startup is considerably slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a check for directory and disables all start-up and connection, among other things. When you restart normally, the initial restart may be slower than normal. If the system is operating normally, there may be 3rd party applications that pose a problem. Try to delete/disable the third-party applications after a reboot using the UN-Installer. For each disable/remove, you need to restart if you do them all at once.
