Apple Airprint for HP Officejet 6500 has more via a wired connection to the router
So I did a considerable amount of research in this through the internet and this forum and I still struggle to find a satisfactory solution.
I have a HP Officejet 6500 a more connected by ethernet to my BT Homehub 3.
It is I understand that even if there is a wired connection, as long as my iOS device (iPad 2 or iPhone 5) is connected to the same router, I should still be able to see this Officejet thanks to ease of airprint.
Unfortunately, this is not the case. I get the message "No Airprint Printers Found" on both devices. The only way I managed to get my Mac Pro (Mavericks) to connect has been add to mannualy by using the IP address of the printer.
Can anyone provide guidance on what I might hurt? Certainly, the printer must connect internet I can print from my iOS devices using HP ePrint app for iOS.
Some might say, well, what's the problem, just use the HP application, but is not the point. I think that if something has been set up to make things easier, then use it. I chose this printer specifically for this feature is a bit frustrating for her so difficult to get the desired results.
Hope it is something simple and anyone can help you.
Following this request and reading the many more similar questions, I think I may have solved this.
I'm not 100% sure but I read a few threads suggests that there are issues around BT Homehub 3 and Hello so this can be a problem.
I tried the following in the past two days...
(1) completely don't reset my router (wiped all settings and started)-no luck!
(2) I tried changing to WPA2 to just WPA security - no luck!
(3) tried to convey the Hello to the printer ports - no luck!
(4) turn off the router, printer and all the devices iOS then fed back router, printer, then iOS devices - printer appears on iOS devices, but when printing was selected iOS device returned on several occasions not connected printer error.
Finally, what seems to have made (at least for now) has been...
(1) disconnected the Officejet ethernet and set up as wireless.
(2) off voltage router, printer and all iOS devices then propelled upward in the order listed previously.
(3) so far, I tried to print a mail and a web page of my iOS devices, and both have been successful.
By the way I've been struggling also to airplay from my iPhone / iPad until I started messing around with the settings above, and now this question also seems to be resolved.
Due to the variety of combinations (different printers, routers, etc.) people will have, it seems to be quite difficult to find a solution that solves a single problem but I hope some of my experiences and findings could help others in some way.

What operating system? What version of Word?
Generally, you need to select file, print, and then make sure the Officejet 6500 a is selected (not the fax device), select the appropriate properties and then select print.

My OS is Windows Vista 64-bit. Image of Windows service is not running. I followed the steps to start the dependency services. Still will not start. Error message 1068. Any suggestions?
Try the following steps to ensure that all services are running. RPC end point mapper may not show it seems have found under Windows 7 but not Vista. You are using Vista as the original poster?
1. type services.msc in run or search and files program
2. scroll the page up to the WIA Windows Image Acquisition
3. make sure that the service is running. Click on stop and then restart to ensure
4 restart the computer
Restart the services of dependencies:
1. Click Start, in the search box type "services" without the quotes.
2. scroll down until you see Windows Image Acquisition (WIA).
3. double click on it and go to the Dependencies tab.
4-2 services must be listed.
5. close this window and look for the remote procedure call (RPC).
6. make sure it's on manual or if it is enabled automatically, just leave it. Make sure the service is started.
7. go to hardware detection kernel and Double click.
8. set the Startup Type to manual and click on apply.
9. you should be able to start the service by pressing Start.
10 now, you are done and the Twain Manager must work and gives you is not a mistake.
Check the dependencies or sous-dependances:
Right-click WIA (Windows Image Acquisition) by selecting the first properties, and then click the Dependencies tab. It should list: remote procedure call and detection of Harward Shell
Under the CPP he then list Launcher process for the Service DCOM and RPC Endpoint Mapper to go back to the main list services.msc and then right click, will launch all the items listed as dependencies or void dependencies under WIA
Follow instructions for 'clear' all the stuff of temp and started around. Much to my surprise I had the same problems all over again. I can't understand this update of the player from Nvidia. But your suggestions led to a workaround. Once I was allowed to leave the area temporary and tried to re install I went back after my problem continued to search for anything I might have missed. I was able to locate the new Temp directory that had just been created via the HP software. I have this opening was able to directly run the installation from this directory and he did not get given wrong directions to the Nvidia. Installation was successful
My Officejet 6500 has more (model CN557A) is connected through the USB port. My operating system is XP. I can scan my computer, I can copy and print from the printer control panel, but I can't send anything to print from my computer. This problem just started about 3 days ago. I tried troubleshooting but I have not received the case. I did not add new programs, and I have 194 GB free on my hard drive.
Can anyone help?
N ° however, I accidentally discovered the problem. I had a card reader connected to my computer to download pictures. Apparently it disrupted the cycle of printing for my printer. I removed the card reader and the printer works fine now. Thank you for your response.
Win7 x 64 install an Officejet 6500 has MORE. Printer is connected to the wireless very well. Win7 x 64 computer can ping and see the printer on the network.
Get a message error everytime I try to print saying: "it cannot connect to the printer.
Same computer can connect to the printer and to view and modify settings wireless very well.
I guess it's a problem with Win7 x 64. I need to fix this before to decide to take back to Costco and exchange for the Canon I almost branch instead. HP you have always had driver problems, but still? Really!
Has taken over the crappy HP. Picked up a Canon PIXMA MX882 instead. Impeccable installation, in 10 min I'm printing, scanning, fax wireless with not a single question.
I am VERY disappointed with HP and its incompatibility with Win7 x 64 drivers. Don't advertise your crap software is compatible, when it is not! I lost hours of my personal time, trying to get HP to work then most of time taking the piece of crap back (I really like the hardware of the printer - software "guys really?"). I will never buy another HP printer. And on the Canon Wireless Setup was easier. A button called easy set up on top of the printer and BAM done. * beep * HP, * beep * indeed.
My operating system is Windows 8, however, when I install the HP Officejet 6500 has more, I'm unable to install the printer driver. The error message "the operating system is not supported".
I would also ask HP to meet this emergency request.
Where do you find the printer driver? From the CD? I believe that the CD is released before Windows 8. This can help:
I have a HP OfficeJet 6500 has more (E710n-z) and have implemented the Scan of the computer which works very well.
When I turn on the scan-to-computer of the screen of the printer, there are six different choices for the analysis-'Save as PDF,' 'Save as JPEG,' etc..
Three appear on the first screen, and I have to scroll down to get over the next three years.
My Questions are:
- Is there a way to rearrange the scan tasks so that I can change which three appear on the first screen of the printer?
- Is there a way to change the names of the tasks of the computer analysis?
I'm on a Mac running (OSX 10.8.2) Mountain Lion
Sorry, there is not a way to change the order on the display of the scan task.
Also, you cannot change the name of the actual analysis to the task of the computer. The only thing you can change is the name real analysis of the case, sorry.
I get a message ' load paper ' on my Officejet 6500 has more. When I first got the printer and installed with my office, it does the same thing, but he stopped after a download from HP. Today I installed it on my laptop, and now it gives several times the same message despite that I have loaded and reloaded varying amounts of paper.

HP Officejet 6500 has more poster "original jam. Clear the jam, and then press 'OK' to continue. "There is no paper jam and the printer will print as long you don't try to use the automatic charger. However, the error message continues interfering with scanning and other print jobs. Any ideas on how to clear the error message? I tried to reset, nothing helps.
Perhaps there is a jam that is located somewhere on the printer. See if you can follow these steps to clean the error and the jam.
I read that there may be something else than necessary. I want to print directly to the Officejet 6500 has more. Apple said ths is an Air Print printer able to do this. I don't take this monster out of the box until I know he will do what I want without a lot of trouble. Thank you.
OK, so you were talking about requiring the update. It is difficult to say that all depends on if it came with the new firmware or not. It is not really relevant, however, because it will be updated as soon as Web Services. This process takes a few minutes. There is no computer necessary for the update of the firmware as long as the printer has internet access (which is directly connected to a router via ethernet or wireless). Yes, a connection ad hoc, you will be able to print from the iPad, but you can use its 3 G connection instead of through your router. It can only support a single WiFi also. Go ahead and set up the printer and keep me posted on what happens.
BTW - what is the problem with your PC that it cannot access the internet?

Why my hp officejet 6500 has more printer take ten minutes to four pages of fax? No change has been made and no error message. This seems to be an extremely long time for only four pages!
Firmware has been day t0 then did a hard reset and tested a fax. seems to be faster, but was not a very detailed page. will be able to say when I have more pages to send. If this is no better at this moment, will post back.
Hi I tried to turn on my printer and it is stuck on maintenance mode and will not work my right from the touch pad is there a replacement for the touchpad or a way around the mainenance mode?
Welcome to the forums of HP.
I understand that your printer is stuck on maintenance mode and the touchpad is not responding.
I would like to help.
I'm sorry, but the display on the Officejet 6500 has more, is not a replaceable part by the user.
Try to go through the document next to the touch screen.
It also can you go beyond the question of maintenance mode.
