Streaming to multiple TVs with mulitple media (video/music)

Hello
I have a very small hotel of character with 6 guest rooms and reception room to eat.

I want to run a server with MP3 and video contained in each room. The customer would then have access to my library of music and videos to watch whenever it wants while staying at my place.

I need a very simple solution that the customer can use the TV to interact with the server and play whatever they choose to play. If the customer would not have access to the computer, just what he can do on his TV.

I would like to know what I need

Server + Sonos system (or something similar) in each room, hooked up to the TV

Server + TV with ethernet connection and appropriate the software on the TV to browse my library (which I prefer)

I like to use MS Media Center I like how it shows the cover and synopsis showing the guests that they can watch.

Any help would be appreciated.

Concerning

TBS

Media Center is a House as opposed to a business, but you scenario
could set up an XBox 360 Extender in each room, hooked up to a TV up to a maximum of
5 extensions (not 6). You would need to have two computers that host the same content
to serve 6 extensions.

I'll work on a live project streaming with Flash Media Server. The idea is to see the video of a user to several Viewer.

    I have a few questions.

  • Error Blu - ray: 'invalid operation', Code: "19", note: "attributes main video stream must be compatible with the playList.

    Hello

I can't create a Blu - ray folder or Blu‑ray Image with my project.  Whenever I click on Build, I get this error:

Purpose of Blu - ray: "< timeline > Untitled chronology", error: "invalid operation", Code: "19", note: "attributes of the main video stream must be compatible with the playList.

I created my .m4v file and .wav files in Adobe Media Encoder using the H.264 Blu - ray built-in HDTV 1080 p 23.976 high quality.  I also tried to create several variants (encoded Dolby Digital audio, tried the HDTV 1080 p 24 high quality preset).  No matter what I still get the same error above.

I only have a basic (no movement) menu, but I tried to remove it and still get the error.

Still isn't my files and I want to keep it this way if possible and use the best rendering of SOUL of transcoding capabilities.  The only change I make for the presets of SOUL must enable VBR 2-pass and use maximum render quality.  Who should not cause the issue?

I searched the forums and did not find anything.  Someone suggested to restart yet, but that did not help.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Graham

I finally got the Blu - ray folder created.  I imported my original uncompressed AVI again and let the transcoding.

So, the moral of this story is that still did not like the pre-transcoded from Adobe Media Encoder files.  Your suggestion on the audio being a slightly different length as the video could be a possible cause, if SOUL actually creates files with this problem.

1 is he doing with all the videos that you play using Windows media player?

    2. What is the format of the video file?

There is no way to shoot a video with Windows media player.

You will need to use Windows movie maker to turn the video and save it, then later play using Windows media player.

    (a) open Windows movie maker, click fileand then click import media items.

    (b) locate the file you want to import and then click import.

    (c) click the Clip, and then click Add to the timeline or Add to the storyboard table.

    (d) click Tools, and then click effects.

    (e) in the content pane, click the effect you want to add. You can click read under the monitor to see a preview of what the effect looks like.

  • Problem with Windows Media Player: "Server execution failed" and "files needed to display video are not installed or do not work properly.

I have a problem with Windows Media Player on laptop Lenovo G780. My laptop is under warranty (bought a month ago), but technical support Lenovo told me that the Windows Media Player program is not covered by the warranty.

    And this is a problem:

When I click on Windows Media Player - to about 0.1 sec I see it opens and closes the window and nothing happens.

When I select a mp3 or wmv file and right-click with the option open with Windows Media Player - I get a message: "Server execution failed" - I checked that all services with 'Media' in the name are running.

When I select a mp3 or wmv file and right-click with the open option with Windows Media Center - Windows Media Center opens with the message: "the files needed to display video are not installed or do not work properly.

When I select a file mp3 or wmv and right-click with option open with Windows Movie Maker life - see the video

I tried to turn / WMP and WMC - did not help
Tried to run as administrator - did not help
I don't see something suspicious under events

    What can I do else?

    Thank you

    Zarek

I had the same problem and then by chance, I tried a video on YouTube and it worked for me. Here's how I went on this issue and solved my problem:

    1. go to the computer, then OS (C).
    2. you will need to open Program Files (x 86) and Program Files.
    3. go to Windows Media Player in Program Files (x 86) and open the folder.  Then, remove the wmplayer file.  You may need to work around the error TrustedInstaller.  I'll tell you that, in a moment.
    4. in Program Files, go to the same folder for Windows Media Player and select the same file again. Wmplayer.  Copy the file in another window open.  Copy ensures that if the question comes up again you can at least try to fix it again.
This should be the end of your problem.  If you need to circumvent the TrustedInstaller question is how:
    1. right click on wmplayer and select Properties > Security > advanced > owner > Edit > other users and groups.
    2. Enter your username and then click on check names.  Click OK.
    3. close the dialog boxes as he has requested.
    4. open again the properties and click Security.  Select your username from the list and click on edit.  From there, select full control.
This should give you full control over the removal of the original file for WMP and easily allow you to copy the other files (x 86) programs.
Please let me know how it goes for your problem.

Whenever I have try and watch live TV or recorded using Media Center program, he starts to play to repeat the first second of audio for about 6 seconds and then stops playing gives me an video error and won't let watch me something else. If I stop and try and then click RESUME He stutters and gives me this video error.
It used to work fine until I started to play with the audio settings from 5.1 to 7.1 audio in the windows configuration settings. I changed the settings in-game your 7.1 speakers. Actually I tried to switch back, but when I try to 'Test' the speakers it gives a sound like it is stuttering and I still get the video error when I try to play. Audio problems in Windows Media Center

    update the following drivers: -.

    Graphics card driver

    Driver card TV Tuner

You may need to reset if necessary WMC.

    Run the Setup again.

Open WMC > tasks > settings > General > installation Windows Media Center > rerun the installation

    Does that help?

If the above does not help then try to reset WMC: -.

Open Control Panel > uninstall a program > turn Windows features on or off > scroll multimedia features > uncheck the box against Windows Media Center > follow the instructions on the screen > Reboot > open again to turn Windows features on or off in the control panel > scroll multimedia features > check the box against Windows Media Center.
