I'm a string (from Date of toSting method) and this shot is not supported by the httpparser how can I convert to sting? and the string I get Date toSting method could be in different formats depending on whether the zone is available or not... How can I handel it.. ?

Kind regards

Kedar

I use this date format because it is the default format you will get when you do date.toSting... and this was my requirement... that I get the date from the server in the from of a chain... I used the the substing and got a solution yet... but I would really appreciate if you could provide the solution so that I could make improvements in mine if necessary...

Thanking you,

    Problem: Build a VI to display a string in the table of the lights. Each letter must be posted in a separate table and letters must move from one table to the other in the direction from left to right.

    I did program mentioned above but it does not work. Can you tell me what is the problem?

    There is no error is indicated in the program. If someone knows about it please try to find solutions and help me out of this problem.

    I have attached my program with this message.

    Thank you in advance!

    (1) FOR loops are your friend here.  You can make a slight restructuring using loops, and then you will have less mess to deal with, the inner loop through tunnels of autoindexing to make it even simpler.

    (2) I would only treat the numeric values of the characters.  So go terminal of control of the chain, the capital letters and byte array to before the outer loop.  You can use a size of Board over there to tell how many times the outer loop to iterate.

    (3) the Index table is extensible.  So you only need over the index of the first, and it will increment itself, as it develops.

    (4) you need to finish the lookup table (table 3D)

  • difference of initial value of string between the steps in the process and an external instance of LabWindows/CVI

    Hello

    I'm curious to know what I see using TestStand, LabWindows/2013 2013 with regard to initial in TestStand string values when you perform the steps in the process or an external instance of LabWindows/CVI.

    I have a step (CVI) string value that is used to check an array of characters stored in an EEPROM to test.  I pass on the Step.Result.String in the CVI by reference.  I then read the table charater of the EEPROM in the chain (Step.Result.String).  The string is then compared against the limit as specified in the test step breast.

    When I run this test step to perform the steps in the process selected in the popup Configuration of the adapter of LabWindows/CVI, it seems that the memory allocated for the string is filled with null characters.  Which is what I expected.

    When I run this test step to execute the steps in an external instance of LabWindows/CVI iselected of the Configuration of the adapter of LabWindows/CVI popup, it seems that the memory allocated for the string is filled with something else.  That is not what I expected.  For example what I see in the memory, it's the first characher is one byte NULL but the remaining bytes are some other values, as shown below:

    F0 00 AD BA 0D F0 AD BA 0D F0 AD BA 0D AD BA 0D AD BA 0D BA 0D AD F0 F0 F0
    F0 AD BA 0D F0 AD BA 0D F0 AD BA 0D F0 AD 0D AD BA 0D AD BA 0D F0 F0 F0 BA...

    In my code I make sure to write a null character in the following location table charater I just write in the chain so I have no problem with the test is working properly.  I have remove the writing from my code null character and was able to verity that the test passes when executing the steps in the process and fails during execution of the steps in an external instance of LabWindows/CVI.

    The returned string contains what I wrote for her, and then the rest of the string is filled with the values that are in the memory allocated for the string.

    Here's my Question: is this the expected behavior for the original string values in TestStand between both types of stage performances?

    Thank you

    Chris Young

    In general teststand not Initializes the unused portion of the string buffer, so it is expected that the values of the memory after character no endpoint will be different, or even to each call. If you happen to be get zeros after the null terminator which was probably due to random character (i.e. the memory allocated just arrived already having zeros in there) or perhaps a debug setting you use perhaps in the Visual C runtime (if you are debugging the process in visual studio or modify visual C runtime heap parameter). TestStand is not initializaing memory after the null terminator character in both cases (I checked the code).

  • Incorporate the binary string in the string spreadsheet file

    Hello LabVIEW wizards...

    So I use scripture to VI file spreadsheet to create a beautiful layout, tabs-delimited report of one of my programs for the acquisition of data file. In one of the cells in the resulting worksheet file that I want to put a binary string of all my control values so when you open the data file all the control parameters used for its manufacture are restored, but the string is hidden when the report is displayed in Excel.

    The problem is that the binary string flattened uses tabs and returns as part of its syntax the Spreadsheet File this VI to Write it's going in all directions. Worse yet, I can't unflatten chain when I open the file text because of "corrupt data or unexpected".

    If I concatenate the string flattened with quotes around it she is superb and is placed in a single cell in Excel, but when I open the file in LabVIEW that she is still several elements in the array. I've isolated the binary string using the file VI text reading and got a subset of the quoted string, but it still unflatten correctly.

    Essentially, I need to know how to get LabVIEW to pull a string literal full of special characters into a spreadsheet file and it unflatten. Any gurus what help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Jordan

    Jordan

    I suggest that you change the formatting of your chain shipped by replacing the tabs and returns with other characters that are not considered as commands by the spreadsheet functions. Without knowing how you represent your control binary values, I can't offer specific characters.

    If two non-printable characters exist which do not appear in the control data, it's easy: just find and replace tabs and returns with those characters.  If there is no character, then something more complex needs to be done for example to escape special characters.  Or create two subVIs - one to remove the tabs and returns before writing the string in the file and the other to restore after reading.

  • create the string in the array item

    Problem... I want to create a unique string item. My entry is an array of integers 1 d of two elements, for example (10, 5) and the output should be a part of string in the form of "10.5." Just a single item and not a table. Any tips or ideas?

    Table in spreadsheet string.

    You may need to remove the character from end of line that arise.

    Alternatively, if you know it's always 2 items.  Index table and food for both outputs in Format to a string with %s, %s format code.

  • Wrong with my setting resource string in the form in general

    Hi all

    After using AE for a decade and wrote a script for other purposes than EI, I decided to finally enter scripts for AE (CC) to make my life and the still lifes of my coworkers easier. With the help of David Torno and ScriptUI of Peter Kahrel pdf tutorials I created some very useful dockable panels who import regular models, the forms, the render-settings, watchfolders and so immediately, using the dropdownmenu, buttons and checkboxes. Smooth œuvres and we work much more effective and coherent, then before.

    All done using resource strings, as seen in episode 12 of David Torno.

    But now! The more features I want to add to my signs, I fall on the problem were I did not now how to translate "regularly" script to a resource string and I don't know if the resource string path is the right one. For example, in normal code, I know how to add a custom iconbutton:

    var importIt = myButtonGroup.add ("iconbutton", not defined, myIcon, {style: "toolbutton"});

    .. where myIcon is a var with a long chain that creates the image. This works as expected.

    However, in my resource string I don't really know how to format the string. Where should I put the string in the image?

    myIcon: IconButton {style: 'toolbutton'}, \

    I think my real question is, where can I find the different properties or the format of the resource string? I don't miss something obvious?

    Really stuck here, where my first post and hope that someone can give me a little push in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

    However, in my resource string I don't really know how to format the string. Where should I put the string in the image?

    myIcon: IconButton {style: 'toolbutton'}, \

    At the time 37:00 in 12 part 1 expisode I explain how the property 'image' for the iconButton of entry.

    http://Provideocoalition.com/pvcexclusive/video/after-effects-Extendscript-training-EP-12

    I think my real question is, where can I find the different properties or the format of the resource string? I don't miss something obvious?

    JavaScript Tools Guide CC.pdf PG. 127 explains iconButton options properties of creation as the name, the Style (button, toolbutton) and toggle. PDF of Peter Kahrel is a great resource, but you do not want also to bring pdf to Adobe. While it can be confusing to read sometimes, she holds the answers like that.

    Hope that helps.

  • First letter of the string to the capital

    Hello.  Try to get the first letter of a string to the capital and the rest of the chain must be lowercase.  I think I'm on the right track with the first letter, but don't know how to do any other have to be lowercase.

    Here is a little info that I might need to change things.
    I load in a flashvar drive by

    var flashVar3  = root.loaderInfo.parameters.myVar2;

    I don't know not what type of data, it would be, not course what flashvars comes as.  I then

    var oldStr:String = flashVar3;
    var newStr:String = oldStr.charAt(0).toUpperCase() + oldStr.substr(1);
    tf3.text=" "+ newStr;

    I don't know if the first line is a problem, because I do not know if the flashvars comes in form of string.  But what I usually would work on the first letter. Not sure how I can force the rest of the chain to be tiny well.

    Currently, I get the error

    TypeError: Error #1010: a term is undefined and has no properties.

    But I don't know if it's because my flashvars variable is set when running.  Counsel on getting that all this work would be great.

    And while you're trying to understand and get version of Andrei work, here the solution I was referring to which is based on the methods/array of strings and builds on what you already work with some of the ignored words... I won't claim about two approaches is best/better, just different approaches...

    var str:String = ' this IS a string to capitalize. "

    var ignoreArray = ['the', 'is', ' one ',' one ',' at '];

    var strArray = str.toLowerCase ().split("");

    for (var i: int = 0; i
    If (ignoreArray.IndexOf (strArray [i]) ==-1) {}
    strArray [i] = strArray [i] .charAt (0) .toUpperCase () + strArray [i] .substr (1);
    }
    }

    var newStr:String = strArray.join("");
    trace (newStr);

  • How to pass a string as the name of MovieClip?

    Hello world! I'm back with more doubts

    I created 4 buttons with 4 animations each, one for each State (using interpolations), so I have this list of 16 "addEventListeners" enourmous (do not know if there is another way to do it). But everything works as I want.

    The problem is that I am creating only 4 functions for dealing with all 4 keys and these 16 eventListeners.

    This is part of my file AS3 (always with the ' traces', 5 seconds of the animation to see animations and all).

    empresa_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_OVER, isOver);
    empresa_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_OUT, isOut);
    empresa_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN, isDown);
    empresa_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_UP, isUp);

    parceiros_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_OVER, isOver);
    parceiros_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_OUT, isOut);
    parceiros_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN, isDown);
    parceiros_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_UP, isUp);

    var mouseState:String;
    var mouseActive:String;
    var txt:String;

    empresa_btn.over.alpha = 0; empresa_btn.down.alpha = 0;
    parceiros_btn.over.alpha = 0; parceiros_btn.down.alpha = 0;

    function isOver (e:MouseEvent):void {
         mouseActive = e.currentTarget.name;
         mouseState = "isOver";
         trace (mouseActive + " " + mouseState);
         var isOver:Tween = new Tween(empresa_btn.over, "alpha", Strong.easeOut, empresa_btn.over.alpha, 1, 5, true);
    }

    function isOut (e:MouseEvent):void {
         mouseActive = e.currentTarget.name;
         mouseState = "isOut";
         trace (mouseActive + " " + mouseState);
         var isOut:Tween = new Tween(empresa_btn.over, "alpha", Strong.easeOut, empresa_btn.over.alpha, 0, 5, true);
    }

    Now, what I'm trying to do, is use the var 'mouseActive' which returns the names of right button inside the interpolation as the clips.

    The problem is that the 'e.currentTarget.name' is not the 'movieClip' itself... it is just a string with the name of the movieClip.

    Example: whenever I try to do something like this:

    var isOut:Tween = new Tween(mouseActive.over, "alpha", Strong.easeOut, mouseActive.over.alpha, 0, 5, true);

    It will return an error to the cause, as I said, mouseActive is not a clip, it's just a string (at least I think).

    Thank you already support (new)

    And mind to please my nickname

    Here's what I offer before raised the potential issue of button...

    Try:

    var mouseActive:MovieClip;

    function isOver (e:MouseEvent): void {}
    mouseActive = MovieClip (e.currentTarget) .more;
    mouseState = "isOver".
    trace (mouseActive + "" + mouseState); comment this out at the moment
    var isOver:Tween = new Tween (mouseActive, "alpha", Strong.easeOut, mouseActive.alpha, 1, 5, true);
    }

  • Formatted string in the Workbench

    Hi all

    I'm on LC 8.2 and the database is SQL Server.  My requirement is: I need to send emails to a process to all members of a particular group of users.  As much as I know there is no functionality in workbench that helps me do that.  I therefore e-mail ID of the database.

    Here's my query:

    SELECT ',' + prin.email
    From edcprincipalentity AS main,.
    edcprincipalgrpctmntenti AS gr
    WHERE prin.id = gr.refchildprincipalid
    AND refparentprincipalid = (SELECT id FROM edcprincipalentity lcuser
    WHERE lcuser.principaltype = 'GROUP '.
    AND lcuser.commonname = "< GroupName >")

    And the result will be like this:

    , [email protected]

    , [email protected]

    , [email protected]

    I use 'Query for multiple lines in XML', to query the database.  Now, I need to convert it to a string of plan containing email ID inorder to use in the control of the Email.

    I use SetValue executes control to convert that.  I have a string variable in which I put the string value of the xml using serializable.

    /process_data/@EmailIds = serialize(/process_data/EmailIdsFromDB)

    It gives me the chain EmailIds = ",[email protected] [email protected] [email protected]" " " ".

    Now my problem is I can not use the result directly on my Email control because it contains a comma.  I have to remove this one somehow.

    /process_data/@EmailIds = substring (/process_data/@EmailIds, 2)

    But I do not get the desired result.

    Can someone help out me or suggest me another method to do this?

    Thank you

    Deepak

    Ok

    Let's try a different approach.

    You have your xml data in an xml variable right?

    Why not just use a setValue with an xPath expression to get the value of all the nodes.

    You can get the number using the following xPath expression: count(/process_data/xmlvar/Email/EmailId)

    Then, to set a counter variable I (integer data type) to the value of count.

    Then, wrap and increment the counter and the build you string using the XPath following

    /process_data/@strlist = concat (/process_data/@strList,/process_data/xmlvar/Email/EmailId, [process_data/@i], /mailId)

    You may need to replace process_data/@i by number (process_data/@i) for the xPath expression work correctly.

    PHP can handle # in a string without problems. The error that you are
    manufacturing must pass # by a query string. In a URL, # indicates a
    element named inside the page. To use # as a character who is preserved
    as a literal value, you need to urlencode. You can either do
    with the urlencoded function. It is probably easier to use the
    URL directly: %23 represents #.

    Hello

  • How to determine the length of the string when the string using LabVIEW MoveBlock pointer dereference

    Hello!

    Calling a DLL that returns a pointer to a structure consisting of a pointer to a string, a 32-bit integer and a pointer to another string.

    I managed to MoveBlock to return a consolidation of these three things, and which works very well.

    But now I need to read the two strings I have pointers to which are not fixed length. MoveBlock has a size of entry, but how to know how long channels are?

    Try this:

    ...\vi.lib\Utility\importsl\GetValueByPointer\GetValueByPointer.XNode

    Wire just a constant string to the Type of entry.  If I remember correctly, the draw of endpoint (assuming that the C strings) will be included.

    Sometimes I have just MoveBlock a byte at a time until I get to a null value or has specified maximum size.
