  I think to buy an audio interface of stroke of lightning and I saw that the main advantage is lower than firewire/usb latency.

  My question is:

  Thunderbolt leads to a performance increase in Logic Pro? Sense that may have multiple channels most plugins etc before overload?

  Or is it only the lag time? Is there an increased global buffer size 1024 leading to increased performance or it reaches only a lower latency to the same buffer size?

  Only if you are in real time of recording, or output in real time, 16 + channels at the same time, you bolt would have shown no benefit.  A USB 3.0 drive will work fine.

  Player that improves performance recording and playback in a certain measure.  The rest is CPU/GPU/RAM.  You won't see LPX better work together while plugging a drive you bolt.  Unless you have really huge projects and a mixer 24 channels run all channels for live recording.

  It's time I have this problem: I bought the Toshiba Stor.e basic USB3.0 external HD, but I was always unable to use it at full speed.

  During copying of large files (hundreds of MB) the progress bar stops abruptly and the system becomes unstable: I can't stop the copy, or cancelled, or closing the window. I have to physically disconnect the HD so that return system and the file is never copied.

  I followed [this post | http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=69634&tstart=0] and installed the drivers intel updated (version 1.0.7.248), but I still feel the same question.

  Anyone have a similar problem and know any solution?

  To me, it looks like a HARD drive problem and not a question of system.
  It looks like interruptions in stream in the copying process and the system hangs.

  Have you tested if you get the same problems using another HARD drive?

  I'm on OS / X El Capitan 10.11.4 on MacBook Pro (retina, 15 inch, mid-2014).

  For some time - I can not connect my audio outputs / interfaces audio external

  -When I change my sound output using alt + volume icon on the top menu, nothing happens (when I return to this menu remains in 'internal speakers' output)

  -When I select in 'sound' in system preferences, it is selected, but the sound is still coming from internal speakers.

  -Remove all applications from the login items "Users & groups" to improve the connectivity of the airplay.

  -Reset the PRAM

  -Creating a new user with the ' parameters '.

  -I could have messed up with other parameters I remember currently.

  I couldn't find anywhere to tell me how to reset the audio settings of the mac completely, and I really want to avoid the formatting and reinstallation of mac.

  To use the firewire transfer mode, restart the iBook and when the screen goes black, hold down the T key on his keyboard. You should see a Firewire symbol on the screen after a few minutes. Connect the two computers with a Firewire cable, and you should see the iBook's hard drive mount on the desktop of your iMac. You can now copy your files everywhere.

  If the iMac is brand new and you want to copy your users, applications, and settings, you can use the automatic Migration Wizard that will be launched when you start the computer - or, you can run it at any time from the Applications/Utilities folder.

  I tried 2 times to get a SATA-online work drive HARD USB 3.0 adapter when it connects to the USB 3.0 my L855, but each time it failed.
  First time Windows has recognized a new USB device but didn't install the new HARD drive (HARD drive was taken from my desktop PC and fully functional) second time the USB sound jumped upwards, but after then nothing happened.

  To be honest I n t think that there is a problem with your laptop. It will be interesting to know if there is a problem if you use USB3.0 devices and not some cards.

  I have an audio interface, Presonus Firestudio Project, which connects via Firewire to my Lenovo SL500. On the Sl500 is Windows 7 x 86 installed. I have also 2 rudders (Akai APC20 and M-Audio UC33e), 1 Midi Interface and a kvm switch connected via USB.

  Almost everytime I make music with Cubase or Ableton Live I get holes in my audio stream. Audio playback stops just freezes for 1-10 seconds and the surface of my DAW. This becomes especially annoying when I record.

  Recently, I have disabled all devices in the BIOS except for Firewire and USB, but I am always running into the same problem. Then I got a look at the system information for Windows 7 and the saw - problems/sharing section - USB and Firewire to share the same IRQ. I'm almost certain that this is the problem causing the audio gaps.

  Is there a way to chanmge in Lenovo Sl500 BIOS IRQ settings?

  After Plug and install a USB audio interface that I borrowed from a friend, I noticed that whenever I changed my KVM switch to the surface of the other PC Ableton froze for a second. The audio stream on the other hand kept and just as it was supposed to.

  The KVM switch is a "Digitus Pocket 2-port USB KVM switch" model No. "DS-11402-1".» This KVM switch seem to be a kind of diffusion in the USB bus which then interrupts the audio stream running on Firewire.

  Hey, I recently got into graphic design and am looking for an external graphics card. I did some research and heard, that it is possible to use an external graphics card which crosses the thunderbolt port. I watched some cases and adapters to do and comes to the conclusion of them being too expensive, as I will not be able to afford something that works. So I tried to find a way around it and found this solution. I would be grateful if anyone here who has a little more experience than me to tell me if this will work.

  I worked on that I could get a USB 3.0 to mPCI_e converter and then plug the USB 3.0 adapter Thunderbolt and my mac mini.

  I am aware that this will probably not work and so would welcome any suggestions you have. I know it's kinda a stupid question, but I have very little experience to work it myself. Having recently bought the my mac, I do not seek for a new PC, but I need some sort of solution since I was worried about the health of my mac, since it works mainly on high temperatures.

  I use the middle range 2.6 GHz Mac Mini end of 2014.

  Currently I'm not aware of any way to run an external graphics PCLe card that appears via the graphics PCLe card output. If you could graph out of the map would probably slow PCLe being much faster than the USB3 or love at first sight. There might be ways to use cards to use the graphics PCLe card for purposes of calculations, does not aim

  One option is to get FileBrowser of Stratospherix. Install it on your iPhone and then to copy photos to a network drive. You can also download them on Dropbox or iCloud.

  You can also rethink investing in cable suitable for use between your iPhone & MacBook Air, so that you can xfer files photos.

  I just replied to your other post - I really recommend that you do not spend more time on a player like VLC and MPlayer, as they are not standard reading player for rtmp and http streaming to FMS - its always better to have the flash based client so please follow other posts where I gave links to other players.
