Stucks bootcamp.

Hello, it is not the first time that I install Windows 10 to my macbook pro retina end 2013. Although this time I experienced anything unusual. When the installation process of bootcamp reach the Realtek drivers, it stuck there forever. I tried to install a bootcamp drivers, and most of them, I had to use the compatibility for the installation settings. Any idea?

    Hello Cloudeez,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I see that your computer seems to be suspended when you partition your hard drive for the training camp.

    Try the following:
    (1) leave the training camp.

    (2) open disk utility

    (3) choose your drive that suits and in the first tab, click on "repair disk".

Then you should be able to go through spring training set up again.

    Best regards.

  • Bootcamp Assistant stuck on status: inactive

    Hi all

I searched, and this seems to be a common problem with none of the concrete responses to find.

IM using bootcamp to install Windows 10.  He went through about 90% of the partitioning step, then turned to "status: Idle" and all buttons are unclickable.  It has been like that for an hour.

Since my SSD has limited storage, I went with the minimum of 32 GB partition, because I just need to use a page of printed circuit board layout program that is windows only.  I know I'll get reprimanded for it, but I do not have an external hard drive and don't have a backup.  Rather not I lose all my data, but if it happens, it will not be the end of the world.  I hope that I have not damaged my machine...

It seems that the partition was made, if I look at the storage of 'about this mac' tab:

But as you can see, it's 100% free space, so it seems that it has not installed windows...

Then what should I do? Is it safe to just close the wizard boot camp?  I don't want to force quit in the middle of something like the creation of a partition...

    Thank you

    Dan

  • Windows 10 installs using bootcamp

Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm at my wits end. First off I have a MBP mid 2015 with the i7 2.8, 16 GB ram, 1 TB SSD and so on. Ten days ago I performed regular updates in windows 10. When it has restarted, or attempted, restart failed and he was stuck in a loop, partially restart, partially install updates and then try to come back, close and so on.
After enough time, I simply deleted this partition and to install again. No matter what I do, I can't get windows to install 10. I downloaded windows 10 to 64-bit windows and saved ISO on my drive. Follow the directions in the training camp in the letter. When the system restarts in the windows installer, I follow the directions. In the screen that asks you the partition, I select the bootcamp partition, and then select format. No options are given, rather it works for a while then the NEXT one is available. I click on it I get an error saying that WINDOWS cannot NOT INSTALL, CHECK the FILES NEWSPAPERS INSTALLER or something like that. No error code is given.

I go back to a single partition and try again. This has been done several times. I delete the partition and let the Setup program create a new partition, no luck. I erase the entire disk and put a new clean copy of Mac OS x and try again, same thing. I update for SIERRA, same thing. No matter what I do, I can not setup to go. I even downloaded a second copy of windows and tried a new way of thinking of ISO there is a corrupt file, no luck. I called apple, some time passes, and they suggested that I should talk to the windows support.
So I chat with windows help. not 2 minutes they suggest in that I find a local computer at my expense to solve this problem.

So I hang up, call apple. We go through complete diagnosis and even once, I was informed to call windows.
Second attempt to windows and 1 minute they tell me to go buy a dedicated computer windows because they cannot support it. Has anyone seen this? Any help would be great.
Still, all worked well until this recent update of windows.

Thanks for your time and your suggestions.

Please post the name of the file Windows ISO and MD5sum.

So far, I have the system upward and running, however, whenever I start the BootCamp Installer, it works, but it gets stuck ALWAYS install the driver "audio Realtek! I tried many times more and even re-installed the operating system once before.

No, this isn't an old version of BootCamp, it is the most recent that I could download.

No, it is not damaged; I was once with a faulty USB before, but now I use a better with much better connectivity.

Yes, I installed Windows 10 with before BootCamp and it was 100% successful.

    I'm on a MacBook Pro (late 2011).

    You can help.

    And more! Solved the problem!

After long consideration, I thought: ' what if I manually installed the Realtek driver, delete the folder drivers BootCamp and THEN run BootCamp? Well, it worked. • Need help to install Windows 8.1 on the partition, bootcamp on Macbook Pro 15 "mid-2010 w / no optical drive"

I tried for almost a week in all possible ways to get windows installed on a boot camp partition on my main SSD 1 TB drive as a partition, or on my HARD drive, which is installed in place of the optical drive.  So far, everything I tried to give me some sort of error at some point in the process.  It seems that many of them are case by case, so I thought that I invite you all and see if you can help!

I use a Macbook Pro 15 "mid-2010 that I improved with a 1 TB SSD drive as the startup disk.  My optical drive was not functional, so I moved my old 500 GB HARD drive to the location of the optical Bay.  I am also under the latest version of El Capitan (10.11.6)
    Here are my system specs:

    Presentation of the material:

    Model name: MacBook Pro

    Model identifier: MacBookPro6, 2

    Processor name: Intel Core i7

    Processor speed: 2.8 GHz

    Number of processors: 1

    Total number of cores: 2

(By heart) L2 Cache: 256 KB

    L3 Cache: 4 MB

    Memory: 8 GB

Processor speed of interconnection: 4.8 GT/s

    Boot ROM version: MBP61.0057.B11

Version of the SCM (System): 1.58f17

What I tried (from what I remember):

I tried to change the Bootcamp info.plist file for my version of the macbook pro to use a USB stick for the installer.  It seems to have installed correctly but once I partition the disk and restart the computer, it gets stuck on a white screen with the Apple logo and I am forced to make a hard stop and then hold down option to boot into OS X, recovery, or the EFI Boot.

If I go through the windows installation to start the EFI system, I get an error of:
"Windows cannot be installed to this disk.  The selected disk is a MBR partition table.  On EFI systems, Windows cannot be installed on GPT disks. »

I also tried to create a partition by using disk utility, and that too made me an error in the installation of windows.

So far, the only way that I'm away from windows to run at all has been using the free trial of VMware Fusion 8... but I intend to use windows for more intensive tasks like audio pro, and merger simply does not offer the performance necessary to run these programs.  I'm hoping to install windows 8.1 on my internal SSD or HARD drive, regardless of the work - as long as OS X and files associated with it are left alone.

If someone could help me please understand this point, I would really appreciate it!

    Thank you

If your computer has an optical drive, you must use the optical drive to install Windows using Boot Camp Assistant.

  • Bootcamp partition is not as boot drive, after running bootcamp to install Windows 10 on MacbookPro 15 "El Capitan running

    Hello

I'm trying to install 10 Windows on my Macbook Pro. I followed this guide, but I am stuck between steps 3 and 4. In disk utility, I see that the bootcamp partition is created, but it does not appear as boot drive. I also tried to start my mac while pressing the option key, but still it will not show.

See below for a screenshot that shows the current state of my machine.

How can I continue to install 10 Windows on my Mac?

Your BOOTCAMP partition internal not yet have Windows installed on it.  If you're between steps 3 and 4 (the installation procedure standard), your, assistant Boot Camp should automatically rebooting your computer after partitioning, from the installation media (Windows 10 CD), you must have created.  I assume that you already have a Windows 10 installation disk.  Make sure that the disc is inserted when you first enter assistant Boot Camp and you let the computer restart on its own.

Apple instructions are a bit vague (somehow I'm not surprised).

Watch (time code 04:26 - 09:15) in next video for instructions (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SxA_OsPEgk).

    Good luck.

  • Questions of portable Bootcamp

I recently created a drive windows laptop 10 using my MacBook Pro (retina, mid-2012) using a HDD external 500 GB and WinToUsb. It was working fine and everything was ready for use, so I inserted my USB with bootcamp files downloaded using the bootcamp application (so yes, the latest version of bootcamp) and installed all the drivers using setup.exe.  You must restart the drivers take effect and once rebooted I hold down option, click the reader portable and stuck on a black screen which requires me to eventually shut down the computer using the power button.  I was able to restart the player successfully in windows while it was set up originally on the disk until that which points to the drivers. I tried to reinstall a clean version of windows 10 and reinstall the drivers, but the same problem occurred.  I also thought it might just be install something then I let sit for hours, but still a black screen. Every third time (for some strange reason) when I have the boot disk, I get a prompt saying windows was arrested wrongly and I'm able to boot in safe mode sense, that the problem must be the bootcamp drivers. I'm not sure which driver is causing the problem and how to avoid it or repair. Anyone else has this same problem or know a solution? Any help would be great account where I put far too much time in this!

UPDATE - to be more precise on the screen goes black: I click on the portable player to start windows, windows turns the wheel starts, and then the screen goes black. Sometimes it will come back but then freeze just when the wheel rotation for windows returns to the top. Once fixed on the blank screen or the spinning wheel, fans of kick and that is where it is blocked. I hope this helps!

  • I really need help! Partition WENT Bootcamp! Solitaire T Please Help!

Hello. I have been using Windows 7 with Bootcamp on my Macbook Pro Late 2013 15 inch 16 GB 2.6 GHz Core i7 Retina since I bought the new PC. I turned on my mac, the other day, and from nowhere, the Windows Partition was gone. The only thing I did differently was that I turned on FileVault and encrypted system. I wonder if it has affected my score because of it? I'm not sure. I'm so nervous, because I have all my files working really important on the partition and I was not able to access it at all.

Everything I tried to do so far:

I tried plugging my MBP on my iMac and starting in the target mode disc and I found all the files in the Windows partition. For some strange reason, the bootcamp partition is grayed out in disk utilities and it is now called "disk0s4."

I have a disc of Windows 7 I was able to boot from and he was about to install Windows, but I was afraid that he would crush everything so I cancelled it.

When I starts my alt now and hold MBP, as I used to always have to do to get into Windows, it shows 2 "Macintosh HDs' while it will display a"Macintosh HD"a"recovery disc"and a"Windows"in the car. (I guess that by encrypting the drive, he may have messed up the designation of the vouma... Not sure)

I've disabled FileVault, unlocked and decrypted the system to see if it would help, but no luck.

I tried to hit check disk and then repair disk and nothing has worked.

I also tried hitting the fixing drive and that did nothing.

Is there a way I can access the files on the partition, if there is no possible way to reinstall windows 7 without any crush?

Thank you in advance to anyone who helps answer this question. I'm so stuck!
