  I'm building a new site in Dreamweaver 8 and started to format the text when entering new CSS Styles, but they may not appear in the property inspector. If I switch back to my other site, all right. Anyone encountered this?

  Show us what you used to these new Styles CSS selectors? Only the class
  selectors will appear in the property inspector, since the type and ID
  the selectors are applied automatically.

• Style CSS (report column attributes) does not

  I found that CSS Style settings for a column in the report only seem to work if you use a "Standard report column. Because the report is wider than the screen, some columns are packaging, making the report is not not-that-readable nice.
  
  Unfortunately, I have the need to define certain columns in report where unwanted packaging occurs as "display text (based on LOV, does not save the State)" and tried to avoid using packing "white-space: nowrap;" or by specifying fixed wide, but it seems I'm out of luck - y at - it a way around this (except by making the report query using a huge DECODE clause and definition of the "Standard report Column" column once again who) somewhat makes the useless LOV except for the selection list in the data entry form)? What is happening on APEX 3.12.

  It looks like it, or it's a [bug of long-standing | http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=1126613]. I tried it (but only have access to APEX 3.0 right now) and none of the attributes of the form element or column formatting tabular style/class/custom CSS are applied. If this is not a bug then it there as an enhancement request.

  In the meantime, you will have to work around it.

  Is it necessary due to a static LOV? If it is dynamic, based on a table/view, get the value of research in the query by a scalar subquery or join have a Standard report column then you can use the attributes of class/style/custom CSS formatting of column.

  You can stick with LOV text display and create a named column report model customized help [col/colgroup | http://reference.sitepoint.com/html/colgroup] to specify fixed-width columns.

• Effects of object for a frame graphical style does not apply to its content

  I want to set an object style for a graphic frame with these features:

  1. Background color of frame: 10% black
  2. Placed image: multiply the effect (blend mode: multiply)

  It is really a very simple thing to do... manually. But I want a placed image automatically multiply on a gray background. In the next image as an attachment, you see, from top to bottom:

  1. Original frame with the black background of 10%
  2. Picture with white background
  3. Image placed with multiply blending mode

  

  I don't know how to specify a style object that applies to the effect of "multiply blending mode" for the image placed inside.

  Object styles apply to objects only, not to the content in a graphic block. As close as you can get to touching the content is mounting Options for editing of an image placed in an empty block.

  You may be able to speed up your manual process of applying multiply at an entire page or spread of images simultaneously.

  1. Select all the graphics frames on a page or spread with your selection tool (v).
  2. Click on the button select the content in the control panel (see table)
  3. Apply multiply at all the images at once

  The letter appears to be part of the layer - not an object separate pixelated. One thing you could do is make a layer duplicated, select the letter and make a layer of the mask. Then you could add a style to the copy, and the rest of the initial layer will be hidden.

• Not applying paragraph styles does not correctly

  I don't know even how to describe this problem except that... weird.

  For example: I put a style particular to 21 PT 22 PT. leading. When I apply this style to a paragraph, it sets the text to 42/44 - twice as big. Even with a heading style. I updated PT. 41 and it comes out to pt 82. It does this for all my styles. The '+' is not appear on any of them, this isn't a matter of substitution.

  Has anyone else seen elsewhere? I'm getting nowhere attempting this nail.

  The text has been transformed? This will mess up the paragraph styles. Do not apply to the size of the game. The paragraph style will be applied, but then the transformation will also be applied.

• Applied styles are not displayed in preview or generated the file

  I added a number of new styles to my style sheet. They show well in my view Design.  However, once I have applied, and then click the Preview button or even generate webhelp to see what they look like generated, the styles are not displayed to the top.  What Miss me?

• Clicking on a paragraph Style does not apply text Style

  I just switched from a PC to a whole new MacBook Pro (OS x 10.7 Lion), and InDesign CS5.5 bought. I use CS4 on a PC for a few years and had no problems. For some reason, I can't apply Styles to paragraph by moving my cursor in the text and clicking the paragraph style. It highlights the style clicked for a while and then goes to value all styles, but does not apply the changes. The only way I can apply a Style of paragraph right now is click with the right button on the style and selecting 'apply... '. "in the menu dropdown. It is very curious. I was wondering if anyone had experience with this. I also have Microsoft Office: Mac 2011 installed on the laptop, if it makes a difference to anyone. Any help would be greatly appreciated, since I dial and change my life, and this problem slows me down a bit.

  Right on any of the third party plug-ins. It was actually 'good Zoom '. A third-party application that corrects some native zonky zoom behavior for Mac. I disabled it, and it has cleared up the problem. It's pretty strange, however, isn't it? Thanks for your help!

• Updated style.css or style itself is not updated with every subject

  I'm having a problem with styles in HR. There is a defined style.css that was created, however, when the formats or the individual policies are changed that it contains, it does not change the subjects. Furthermore, when I tried to simply update a specific style on the style and formatting of pod, I make the changes, it stores them, but when I choose to update a selected paragraph, it changes the police to something totally different and so the formatting. Am I missing another area where possibly a default value is supported and I can't?    It is becoming more and more frustrating, because I had to pass by subjects over and over again, because it keeps their re-formatting me a.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I just tested the HTML code you posted with the CSS that you posted and I could not reproduce this problem. Can you share an example topic if I can try to reproduce the problem?

• Problem with styles Css does not display mode live view or when I browse

  I use Mac OS x 10.6 and construction Web site with Dreamweaver CS5.  I sometimes create div tags no styles or rendering mode display live view or when I browse but showing in design mode. I looked in dreamwever faq and they speak not no projection in Design view to toggle the display styles. This isn't the problem because it is checked, and I tried to turn on and off and made no difference. I use the firefox browser.

• Table of content not applying paragraph styles do not

  Intensely frustrated, but assuming that I have do just something stupid I can't understand.  I use CS4.

  Try to make a table of contents.  Everything will import correctly in the table of contents - I because of paragraph styles to the different levels, I've wanted to, etc., including some of the hidden layers.  All these import correctly.

  I did the paragraph styles for the real KNOCK out and filled in the box for each to apply to the specifc level.  The basic indentation formatting etc. I am applying work, but features and the font size will not change.

  When I look at each paragraph style, everything entered in the way that I want it to be (that is, text formatting, etc.).  I can go to my OCD manually and click on the section of text and apply the style to the paragraph I want and apply the recesses, etc., but the formatting of the text is not.  I have to go to character styles to make it work.

  If I go into another section of my document, apply that same paragraph text style, then all (characteristics of fonts & renfonçait changes etc.).

  Looks like you can have styles of characters applied to text in the document itself, and these character styles are preserved. Local formatting and character styles applied in the paragraphs are retained when you make the table of contents.

  Many users doesn't seem to understand the distinction between character and paragraph styles, too and using character styles incorrectly. I'm not saying that it's true for you, necessarily, but you should undersand this character styles are used to change the font attributes for bit isolated from the text in a paragraph. The basis for the type specification is part of the paragraph style, and there should be no reason to apply a style of character with the exception of special cases - some words or characters - in the paragraph. Text most will have no style applied character.

  I'm relatively new to Adobe Muse but I like to think I have a right understanding after completing a Lynda.com courses on the program. However, I am having trouble with a Web site, that I am currently in train. I have a master page that contains the header and footer elements / styling I want to apply to my other pages.

  It would appear that the elements and style of my master page seem to work well on my Home Page, but on all other pages, even if the elements are there, it would seem that no style has been applied. The site is the catalyst for the company and can be found at paidtotrade.businesscatalyst.com. You will be able to see the issue that I have on there when the comparison of the homepage to other pages.

  I hope there, can someone help me, any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Just found the temporary fix.  Go to the properties of your site and disable the change in the browser.  Until the bug is corrected that works.

  Pages on El Capitan 10.11.1 v5.6.1.

  I just created a quote indented using ITC Garamond Book Italic with left and right margins altered. Well selected, I clicked on the + symbol in the paragraph, named the new Styles pop-up style Indented quote and you press return.

  Always selected in the body of the document, I applied the body paragraph Style to restore the normal formatting and then with the text again, the paragraph of citation Style indented - who worked as expected.

  If you want that your new Style of paragraph to survive across documents, you will need to save it in a model. You can also have two different Pages, documents open in Pages v5.6.1, and copy/paste the custom styles between the selected text in these documents by using the Format menu.

• Paragraph styles does not work in ID CS6

  I created a newsletter in InDesign CS6. I used the ballot before but now when I try to assign the style for the text is not working.

  For example, I have a normal defined as Calibri, regular, 10pt, but when I paste my text from Word into a text box and select the paragraph style Normal text comes in Adobe Garamond Pro, pt 100. All the styles I try are the default for this setting. I tried to paste history in Notepad first to remove all formatting from Word and then copied in InDesign with the same result.

  Any suggestions?
