Style GREP to search for the last phrase

I have a paragraph style with a photo at the end credit. I want to style the last words of 3-6 according to the legend, but I'm stuck on the GREP.

The legends are like this (one to three sentences), the photo credit is not punctuated:

In 2001, a boy, looks like a kite. The kite is red. Photo of Charlie Brown

What I'm getting doesn't seem to work. everything that begins with (? < = whatever). + \r is a failure.

I need to (I think) were looking for GREP style back since the end of the punctuation. Any ideas?

If by "the last words of 3-6 according to the legend" you mean the last words of 3-6 in the legend", so maybe it works (assuming that 'word' is covered by \w+):

(\s\w+) \s\w+$ {2.5}

There may be two reasons why (?)<=whatever).+\r doesn't="" work:="" (1)=""><=...) must="" match="" items="" of="" equal="" length,="" and/or="" (2)="" the="" caption="" doesn't="" end="" in="" a="" paragraph="" mark="" (\r).="" $="" looks="" for="" the="" end="" of="" the="" paragraph,="" rather="" than="" the="" paragraph="">

  • Search for the last occurrence of a substring

    How to search for the last occurrence of a substring in a string? In more detail: I have the array with the names of files, and I want to split the file name extension in a separate column. The name extension doesn't have a fixed rate with (can be 'c', "" jpg"or"mpeg", etc.), and names of files themselves can contain points (if this is possible:"recording.of.last.meeting.mpeg".)

    So the only way to extract the name extension is to look for the last appearance of a dowry and split on everything after the last point. How can I do this? I worked with a sybase database before and there was a string function to search for the right of the string. Is there something similar in Oracle?

    If you're on 10g, you can

    with t
    as
    (
    select 'recording.of.last.meeting.mpeg' file_name from dual
    )
    select regexp_replace(file_name,'^.+\.') fiel_extension

  • GREP to search for the string of quotes

    I have some strange "strings" of quotes that I need to look where there are single quotes and double row with nothing between them. So ' ' ' ' wording here. ' " "" "Here. »

    GREP lets you search a string of quotes that could consist of a number or combination of single and double quotes? The chain would consist of all open citations or nearby, but could be any combination of double and single, beginning or ending with simple or double.

    Thank you

    As for the finding , there is no need to toggle the quotes or disable. For example, a single ' will find all three variants, while ~ [will match only open loop, ~] closed curly, and ~' those just right.

    Other than that, Yes, you want to make sure that even when curly quote is active for replacements.

  • Using CONTAINS to search for the exact phrase does not

    I'm trying to use an index of context to the exact phrase INSERT INTO text serch
    create table temp_source as select name, type, line, upper(text) as text from user_source;
    create index usr_src_text on temp_source (text) indextype is ctxsys.context;

    select * from temp_source where contains(text, 'INSERT INTO') > 0;
    documentation on several sites, I read all these said should work as they all do the same

    'INSERT INTO' '' INSERT INTO' ' 'INSERT & INTO' 'INSERT AND INTO' but they all return results that have just INSERT in

    Thank you
    Robert

    Is an empty word which is not indexed

    create table temp_source as select name, type, line, upper(text) as text from user_source where 1 = 2;
    insert into temp_source(text) values('insert into');
    insert into temp_source(text) values('insert');
    insert into temp_source(text) values('in');

    create index usr_src_text on temp_source (text) indextype is ctxsys.context;

    select score(100), text from temp_source where contains(text, 'into', 100) >= 0

    SCORE(100) TEXT
    0 insert into
    0 insert
    0 in

    drop table temp_source

    So probably yo willl define your own list of empty words and add it to the index (CTX_DDL.create_stoplist, .add_stopword etc..)

    Compare

    create table temp_source as select name, type, line, upper(text) as text from user_source where 1 = 2;
    insert into temp_source(text) values('king kong');
    insert into temp_source(text) values('kong');
    insert into temp_source(text) values('king');

    create index usr_src_text on temp_source (text) indextype is ctxsys.context;

    select score(100), text from temp_source where contains(text, 'king kong', 100) >= 0

    SCORE(100) TEXT
    4 king kong
    0 kong
    0 king

    drop table temp_source

  • Search for an exact phrase (quoted text)

    Hello!

    I'm trying to search for the exact phrase - "for this issue", but it seems that ITS ignore text between quotation marks and give me the result with only "issue" world.

    Is this a Bug?

    I don't believe it. The two 'for' this 'this' are the words of text stoplist Oracle. Those words 'noise' which are ignored by ITS during indexing.

    Here is a link I found that might be useful: http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/text.102/b14218/cdatadic.htm#i1014730

    This list can be changed for indexing of ITS.

    I hope this helps.

    For the last 8 days the font size will increase from 100% to 75%. This happens automatically. I am not able to change the font size to 100% the normal way. On the desktop, I right click and try to enlarge the icons without result. In Explorer I go down to the bottom right to change the zoom level and try to change the font, nothing helps. The only way I can do it is through the system restore. Can anyone help? Dogscout

    Changed the dpi that did not work. Police accounted for 70% this morning. I had to use the system again restore.

    Suggestions...
    1 make a check of the file system.
    Start button > Search box type cmd > look up, do a RIGHT click oncmd.exe > click onRun As Administrator > in this window cmd black and white, type at the prompt flashing sfc/scannow > press the ENTER key.
    Note : there is a space between 'sfc' and ' / '.
    To sit and wait. It will take time.
    When finished, exit the cmd window.
    Reboot (restart your computer)

    2. If the above does not solve the problem. Do a check disk.
    Start button > Search box, type cmd > look up, right-click on cmd.exe > Run As Administrator > in the black and white window, at the command prompt flashes, type chkdsk/f/r > press the Enter key.
    Note : there is a space between 'chkdsk' and ' / '.
    The screen will say something like cannot do it now, but you want to run it on reboot. Click on 'y' as in Yes > press > window cmd of output.
    Restart your computer. Check disk starts after reboot. It will take a while. DO NOT stop the machine. Just wait.

  • How to search for words and phrases in multiple pdf documents

    Dear Sirs.

    I need to search for words AND phrases in a huge amount of PDF files (over 5000). The problem I found by using the "advanced search" is that I am able to search for single words sentences individual GOLD, but I need to combine a lot of words and multiple expressions in the same search. For example, if I need to look for instances of the word 'Florida' or 'Texas' or 'United States', I can't search for each PDF file that contains the word 'Florida' or 'Texas' or the phrase 'United States', since if I put 'word' in the search options, I will receive all the files that contain the word "Florida" or 'Texas' but also 'solidarity' or 'States' and simple words. I tried placing quotes in the words I need to research such as phrases, but it did not work. I would like to know if there is a way I can search the way I need.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Update iOS 10.1 was too early to be released? I was without a phone for the last 15 hours. It won't update, just keep errors

    I'm very angry. Why Apple will force us to use iTunes for the last update of iOS. iTunes *, it is the most unstable and convoluted software that I've ever known. 15 hours and counting process of updating my new iphone 6s + and I can't use it because it is 'restore' mode, I'm screwed. Arggghh!

    Apple requires you to use iTunes to do an update. It is only recommended if your phone is really complete and doesn't have any free room left.

    I upgraded 3 devices, and none of them had problems.

    For the last week or three Firefox updates two or three times for each update. Sometimes it refreshes without obvious reason. For example, I'll be in the middle of typing in the message forum block & it refreshes. Or by filling out an online form. Or simply viewing a page.

    You can check for problems caused by an extension that is not working properly.

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.

  • For the last few weeks, after that I closed 19.0 FF, I can't open it. I resorted to having to re - install FF each time so that it can open. What should do?

    For the last few weeks, whenever I close Firefox 18 (and more recently 19.0), I can't reopen the browser again. The application runs as if it is going to open, then stops and sits there. I had to resort to the re - install the browser every time now, very irritating. He remembers my tabs as they had been, that I want to. I used to open up to 40-50 tabs, but now made an effort to keep them below 20, thinking that it would help work more optimally. I'm tired of re - install the browser all the time. What should I do? Thank you

    When this happens, check the Windows Task Manager to see if there is a hidden window or the firefox.exe process is at a standstill?

    To open the Windows Task Manager, press Ctrl + Shift + Esc

    On the Applications tab, look for any window with the icon of Firefox. See something wrong here? In another thread, users have reported finding what seems to be a rogue process. If you find something, try to select and killing using end task.

    Under the processes tab, look for firefox.exe. According to the displayed columns, you can often see that the program is reading, writing, communicate or simply sitting there, doing nothing. If you have allowed time to stop Firefox and it crashes, you can select firefox.exe and click on end process.

    After that, Firefox expected to start normally.

    Please see this article for troubleshooting suggestions for when Firefox crashes out. https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/Firefox-hangs-or-not-responding#w_firefox-hangs-when-you-quit-it
