sudden error "too many listeners on GPIB.

Out of the blue, I'm suddenly in the face of this "too many listeners on the GPIB" error, and my PC has found is more all instruments in NOR-MAX. I have a GPIB-USB-HS connected to my PC and 8 instruments (some HP4142b, Keithley instruments, electricity, etc.), Garland with different GPIB cables... I was able to control them in LabVIEW and summer don't saw no problem with it for months.

Then yesterday, LabVIEW (I have 2012) suddenly hung when I tried to access one instruments (which went in the State "is not responding"). He could see to the recovery, is no longer one of my instruments GPIB on the menu drop down. I rebooted LabVIEW, but still the same thing... could no longer see my GPIB instruments. I rebooted the PC and the same issue. Then, I could see no longer the GPIB instruments in NOR-MAX. I spent a few hours of debugging, try different configurations, connection to 1 or 2 instruments at once... now with this new Setup, I am able to let him see 7 of my instruments, but not all 8. I have a system to Keithley 7001, it doesn't seem to like more... When I connect it to the rest of the GPIB instruments, I get the "too many listeners' error and can not see all the instruments in Max weird because I have two of these 7001 s in my installation, and it is seems ok connection to one but not the other.

Overall it is really strange and I can't figure out what that might be the problem... would appreciate advice/suggestions.

I have checked/tried things

-all GPIB instruments have unique addresses... There is no conflict of interest. as I said, things worked fine before... Suddenly, they were not.

-doesn't seem to be a problem of GPIB cable. I tried different cables... same cable will be allowed to connect to a single instrument, but when I use it to connect to this particular Keitlhley instead, none of the instruments can be found.

Also, I just noticed something, don't know if this is important... for my GPIB-USB-HS, the 'Ready' light always seems amber glow... it is never green. And never seems to light 'Active' lights... even if I send orders to the instruments.  Not sure if it of important or not.

OK, I seem to have solved that problem. I changed address GPIB instrument troublesome Keithley to a number much more than the other instruments (e.g. addr 30 and other instruments were 10, 11, 12, etc.) and it worked. I don't know why it didn't work until he was NOT an address conflict (it was originally addr 9 and no other instrument has this address and it worked fine... just one day he complained there are too many listeners and he could not see what be it... strange. just this announcement here in the case where he helps to anyone.)

Reduce the number of labels has solved this problem. Seems specific to TB and GMail (google says you can have hundreds of emails - I have about 60). • error "too many files".

None of the suggestions I found helped to eliminate this error so that I can add at least an icon in my conduct of flow using AW7.0.  I 8791 icons (reduced from more than 9000 by simplifying my subroutines) and 43 variables.  This seems little that I've reached a limit and nowhere I can find no explanation as to what is the limit of files.  I can't find the reference of .rec files in a response from aid, or one of the several books that I have on using Authorware address this issue.  I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software think that it have been damaged in some way - didn't help.  Short to split the file into two parts (I already did once), can someone tell me how absolute and definitive of how to remove this error so that I can add more icons to the conduct of flow?  It's very frustrating to say the least.  Is there a kind of memory hidden in Authorware that must be eliminated somehow?  Thank you.

Disk Manager is a component that manages the folder file and the source file. Too many folders can sometimes be erased using the file / save and Compact because records that has been used and then discarded are not removed from the file with each record. He used to do this but saved was too slow so disk manager has been changed so that it only saved changes and Save and Compact has been added.

If save and compact it fixes so you can watch the number and size of the media internalized. The media will be broken into pieces, and each piece will seize a record. So if you have very large files that are internalised you can save some recordings using this external media. If outsource you some media you should save and compact since the records used by the media where it was made in-House will not free up the save and compact is made.

  • Error "too many files open.

We have an employee using your Windows 7 desktop. When they try to create a file on one of the servers, they get the following error message. This was to save different applications, but also just going through Windows Explorer and try to create a new text file. -

It seems not to be a server problem. Very well, other users can save.

It's not a permissions issue. His username, logged on to another computer Windows 7, works very well.

It is not a firewall issue. All computers have the Windows Firewall and pass the hardware firewall even... so this computer test, under his user name, works but its does not work despite using only the same hardware firewall.

Sharing network settings are controlled by active directory. I checked her are correct and match the other test machine that has worked.

It seems to be that something directly related to the Windows 7 computer. So far, we have tried to restart the computer and do a system restore on the computer for a few days before he fell. "NET files" shows also no active file and it doesn't always have after a restart that would have killed any open data stream.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated!

  • Too many objects correspond to the oracle.jbo.Key [2 primary key]. Error

    Hello

I view a read-only table, and an editable form below so that the user can select a line in the table and the rank must be filled in the form below.
The user must be able to update the line and save in the form below.
Then the table above must also be updated with the updated values.

To do this, I created a from VO EO.

Using the same data control, I created a table UI Readonly and an editable form in the same JSF page.

When I run the page, the first line is filled in the table and the form.
When I select the second line of the table, I get the following error in the editable form

Error: too many objects match the [2 primary key] oracle.jbo.Key.

My EO has only one primary key, and I have not included the column ROWID EO or VO.

How can we solve this problem?

However, if I move the form to another page, it works well.
But we have the table and editable form on the same page for ease of use purposes.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi Sameer,

You can run your VO in many ways as Amit said...
Otherwise you can go to your entityImpl, the super.doDML method of the validation without any errors you can re-providing your VO here itself
And give the save button as partial triggers for Table...

  • Too many cards

When I try to open a link to a Web site when using the touchpad, I get a message that says 'too many cards' what this means and how can I solve this problem

Hi, you will find some tips below.

    Their there are several options:

1 simply hold down the OK button for a few seconds.

    2. the error 'too many cards' historically means that your device has too many open applications and that it is running out of RAM. It could be solved by closing some applications and try again. Turn off and turn on again also clears the memory.

"To completely close an application, drag the map to the bottom of the screen and release. The card is expected to rebound upward and on the top of the screen. »

Otherwise, the "normal way" to close the application in standby mode and can continue to use memory. After awhile of just applications of swipping closing upward, without having to restart the Tablet/phone, could lead to continue to burn the memory until you get the "too many cards" error.

    It will be useful.

  • Too many objects correspond to the primary key oracle.jbo.Key

I get this error: Too many objects match the primary key oracle.jbo.Key when I tried to look for in a display object where the primary key is consists of more than one filed.

    Use case:

In Jdeveloper 11.1.2.3 I Entity object called someTable this table has three fields A,B and C where the primary key is consist class towing A and B .

I created different towing View object of someTable object enity that are someTableVO1 and someTableVO2 . Rated A in the view object somtableVO1 is a List Of Value(LOV) and the data are coming form filed A in the someTableVO2 .

In application I have a search page that contains a drop-down list of registered A in somTableVO1 . Based on certain conditions, the drop-down list of the values in the list is not static. The value of the drop-down list is editable based on a select query run on someTableVO1 and it is based on the class thried C is NOT part of the primary key .

The page displays the drop down menu with the correct values. But I have a ValeChangeListener method that will be activated whenever the user selects a value form the drop-down list.

    The problem is:

The error Too many objects match the primary key is occur whenever I am executing this method.

    Support:

I think the problem is with multiple fields for the primary key. of curse, there is an overlap in a part of the primary key (IE that paid A or B ) but the combination of A and B are always unique.

    Notes:

    1. I check the query by executing SQL Developer and it shows not all duplicate values.

2 I don't attach code, because I think that the problem is not on (how to) this is (what to do).

I hope that the idea is clear

    Problem solved.

My goal was to show a summer that A form someTableVO1 as a list of value and I was trying to achieve by creating the list of value the same form Entity object . I understand that it was the wrong approach (correct me if I'm wrong). to achieve this in ADF technology, I have to do the following:

    1. Simply to drag and drop the view object from the Data Controls page.
    2. List of options appears asking how you want to display the view object (shape, chart, table, only one selection,...).

    3. Select Single Selection ->ADF one Selection

    4. Select the attributes that you want to show the user a list of values.

    Thanks for your comments.

  • Too many objects correspond to the primary key

I read a lot of posts on this topic, but they are all related to the addition of new records.  My situation is a little different.

I have a SelectOneChoice with AutoSubmit set to True.

I have 2 tables that are related to the value of the SelectOneChoice with partial triggers defined on the SelectOneChoice.

When I make a selection of the SelectOneChoice, I get the error "too many objects match the [primary key n] oracle.jbo.Key" where n is the primary key of the selection in the SelectOneChoice.

    Nothing is to be added/created.

The end result should be that the tables get updated with correct lines that match the selection of SelectOneChoice.

Any ideas on where to find questions, please let me know.

    JDEV 11.1.1.6

    Thank you

    Ray

Why is - what drag you only the attribute ID of OrgRefView to your page? Why don't you drag the whole view of the page object?

I think that is what is happening:

The SelectOneChoice shows the ID attribute of the first line of OrgRefView. When you select a different value in the SelectOneChoice, you change the value of the ID of this line. And that's why the error message shows. You change the value of the ID of this line to the value of the ID of another line. And you can't have the same ID value for both lines.

Try to drag the OrgRefView in the table on the page. Then, you can select a line and will display the appropriate details.

    Kind regards

Originally, I had just the a function with the arguments of VARCHAR2. It worked not correctly because when the dates were gone, the automatic conversion into VARCHAR2 lowered the timestamp. So, I added a 2nd function with the arguments to DATE. Then I started to get "too many declarations of is_same exist" error during the passage of time stamps. This made no sense to me, so, although documentation Oracle says you can't do this, I created a 3rd version of the function, to manage the TIMESTAMPS explicitly. Surprisingly, it works fine. But then I noticed that he did not work with TIMESTAMP with time zones. Therefore, the fourth version of the function. Docs of the Oracle say that if your arguments are of the same family, you can't create an overloaded function, but in the example above shows, it's very bad.

Finally, just for grins, I created the functions of number two, one number, the other with REAL and even these are allowed - they are compiled. But then, at runtime, it fails. I'm really confused.

Here's the apparently erroneous Oracle documentation on this subject: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B12037_01/appdev.101/b10807/08_subs.htm (see overload subprogram names) and here are the different types and their families: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/appdev.112/e17126/predefined.htm.

This is because when you pass a TIMESTAMP Oracle cannot determine whether to implicitly convert to VARCHAR2 and use your first function or implicitly convert to DATE and use your second function. Where the "too many declarations" error exist.

I think that the documentation, of the family of 'date', is wrong as you suggest. For WHOLE and REAL, the problem is that those are the ANSI data types and are really the same Oracle data type; they are more like "alias" that different data types.

See the doc of SQL language
    >
ANSI SQL/DS and DB2 data types

The SQL statements that create tables and clusters allows also ANSI data types and products IBM SQL/DS and DB2 data types. Oracle recognizes the ANSI or IBM data type name that differs from the Oracle database data type name. It converts the data type for the equivalent Oracle data type, stores the Oracle data type under the name of the column data type and stores the data in the column in the data type Oracle based on the conversions listed in the following tables.

    INTEGER NUMBER

    INT

    SMALLINT

    FLOAT (Note b)

I would do it with two XMLTables, like this:

    SQL> SELECT school_name

      3 , x2.teacher
      4 FROM school t
