  I have a taskflow using javascript. When the taskflow was loaded, I need to execute a javascript function that uses my taskflow 2 input parameters.

• Implementation of JavaScript in Dreamweaver CS5?

  Hey guys,.

  I'm trying to creat a "slide-show" similar to that of www.foursquare.org front-end navigation. Initially, I had to use flash to do this, but most types on the flash forum pointed out that it has not been run by flash. I dive into the source code and it has been executed with a few lines of javascript (I think).

  Because what I want to do is very basic (has a few pictures turning this link to different subpages) I was thinking flash can be to inflated for this. Is there an easy way to use javascript like this in dreamweaver (CS5), if I stick with Flash, I should go a different direction from the exercise? Thanks for the help!

  May I suggest a web search on jQuery, a JavaScript framework that is frequently used with these slideshows? Check the different available plugins for jQuery which can help you to easily set up one such slide show.

• A lot of JavaScript in Dreamweaver errors

  I don't know what happened, but all of a sudden I am getting constant Javascript errors in Dreamweaver. They appear at startup, as well as when I try to do pretty much any action (savings, opening, collage, fence, etc.).
  
  Here are some examples of what the error messages. No idea of what is happening or how can I fix? I have day Acrobat to the latest version of this morning, but I don't know if that cause. I use Dreamweaver CS3 (9.0.0.3481) and Mac OS 10.5.3.

  JavaScript runs with different levels of access rights.   I used to be able to run this simple line of java code from the URL window in google maps to get the lat / long, to a point.

  For some reason any, since I have updated to version 3.6 of Firefox, JavaScript does not work anymore.

  I checked the help files existing who asked me to check the Options in the Tools menu.

  Here are my settings, which should work, but aren't:

  2. under Advanced options, the following are checked:

      a) Move or resize existing windows
      b) Disable or replace context menus

• iMac suddenly running really slo

  Hello!

  I need assistance with my iMac, which is really slow suddenly. He now has trouble even during startup. I tried to use the activity monitor, to see if all the apps are used for the amount of ram, but no. Even when no programs are working it just continues to load. I tried everything that suggested, but can't seem to find the problem.

  I tried to use time machine to recover from the last successful backup and solve for 1-2 days. After that he went back to the slow loading and I can't do anything.

  What I tried:

  -verified activity monitor. Some applications use a large amount of ram.

  -Check the amount of storage on the hard drive (more than 50% is unused)

  -Used disk utility to check the hard drive. Issues here either

  -Diskwarrior used to rebuild the hard drive

  -Tried to start up the Mac in safe mode (hold down the SHIFT key) and it started without any problems and was not slow at all.

  Monitoring system using the SysInternalsI just began to see a signed applet digitally MS, "unsecapp.exe", ca. as of 08/17/2001 and cannot find what caused it to appear or to be part of the work system files?  The new installation is a trial version of Ccleaner Pro v4.18.4844 from Piriform who indicated that their use does not require this applet?

  Cancel or delete the "unsecapp.exe" doesn't seem to affect the functionality of the MS other files, applets and applications, and I did not follow its insertion in the boot files yet?

  Any ideas what could have triggered this ' appearance, or what it does?  Can it be uninstalled and deleted?

  "unsecapp.exe" IS indeed a Microsoft program and I had not seen before, until now running on ANY PC running Windows XP, because I started using it about 12 years, so I have, too, was curious to know why "unsecapp.exe" was suddenly appear in the Manager of tasks and the Process Explorer.

  Having found your question on the topic I thought it might be due to the latest version of CCleaner, I had only recently updated to this version. So, I looked around, within the parameters of CCleaners and it turns out that "unsecapp.exe" begins when CCleaner starts and it is TRACKING is turned on. It is a NEW feature for users for FREE.

  To stop the "unsecapp.exe' to run and let him start at each startup, open CCleaner, go to OPTIONS, select CONTROL then uncheck 'enable monitoring system '. When this is done, you will be able to uncheck another already checked and grayed out option "enable Active monitoring". It will throw up a warning message, but just ignore that and click 'YES '.

  "unsecapp.exe" then stops turning.

  As far as I'm concerned, that the version of CCleaner FREE worked fine without it before they added the new feature like my PC, so both should, in theory, work very well with this option disabled.

  Apex. Server.Process is indeed by asynchronous design. Now you can either make the browser wait the result by making it synchronous, or you can define a function sur-succes that run when the call is completed. Going with async, you can define follow-up actions, but "blocks" the browser in the meantime.

  Use the "async" parameter in the 3 param object:

  If I create a js file, call the example.js, which uses an object or a function defined in another JavaScript file, then whenever I use this object/function in example.js I get an error in the exit sign and a source of distraction red mark in the line number of the file column because the object/function 'is not defined"(even if it is just in a different file).   Please follow the instructions below

  1. Please go to Preferences to change folder > Preferences (Windows) or Dreamweaver CC > preferences (in MAC)

  2. once there are click Linting > JS > edit and apply changes

  3. This will open a new file named JS.jshintrc

  4. find unused and change "True" to "False"

  

  5. save this file after you change and you should be ready.
