  Hi, I have two e-mail accounts and for once they both worked very well. Recently, I changed the provider for one of them, and therefore I was not able to receive messages for it. I can send without any problem. I contacted fido as well as my e-mail host and the two went as far as possible, they say it's a rim problem now.

  So, I finally this issue is resolved. After 2 calls to fido without success, the second time, they said to call the rim. I called and was told that the technical support is paid. AAARGH. They offered to contact fido themselves and have someone to work with me. Thanks to the rim (which did not charge me!) Finally, I was put in touch with someone from tech who was willing to work with me and solve this problem once and for all. You know that you have a decent and knowledgeable person on the other end of the line when they ask you what you have already tried instead to go through all the process by heart. Very quickly, it determined that he had a fatal error in the coding of the fido the outgoing server. It has closed and reopened my account and in 15 minutes, I had all this work.   I have been in contact with my technical support of Verizon.  There is no problem to an end, but my Mac Mail account can send but not receive mail.  What happened three times during the month.  Each time than previous, Verizon has found a problem locally, for their purpose and in a few hours, it has been corrected.

  This time the problem was upstream at the highest tech people.  They told me that there must be a problem of registration with Mac Mail and I need to contact Apple.

  I tried physician connection without success.

  If someone knows a solution, I'll start here before you contact apple support.

  I've never had a problem with Verizon email on my Mac. In your case, Verizon has already said that they have been twice at fault. I'm guessing that this time is not different.

  I suggest you contact Apple support if Verizon has completed its investigation.

  I have used Firefox for years. I bought a new Dell laptop 3 weeks ago, came with Internet Explorer. Later, I downloaded FF 6.0.1 that I prefer. After a few days of normal use, the Yahoo mail page newspaper came in lower-case letters and images unreadable. I went to the Firefox Options, once again the Options, then content. All fonts have been at least 14. I unchecked the option to leave the web sites chose their own fonts but always get tiny sign in page. When I copy and past the Yahoo mail URL in Internet explorer, the Yahoo login page is normal in size. I uninstalled FF 6.0.1 and downloaded FF 7.0.1 but who gave the same microscopic text.   Have 2 comcast email accounts. 5 days ago, that both has ceased to receive emails through Thunderbird on my laptop. They work on the comcast site. As if by magic one of the email accounts started getting yesterday - no problem.

  The other is still "stuck" and DO NOT receive emails via Thunderbird on my laptop; I can send emails without problem. Of course, it's my main email account. Comcast checked the settings and could find no problem on their end. Gave me that a number of their center of insurance of security but so far cannot get them to take my call. sigh seems strange to work and the other does not; essentially same settings for both.

  Help appreciated.

  TBird 24.2.1 stopped downloading email after a meeting with Bell Aliant to correct their records physical and my phone number and e-mail addresses. During the Exchange, they also checked my pop password and smtpa. I discovered that the password for the pop account has been misspelled and finds a solution of Mozilla Help which essentially necessary to remove the account from the list of accessible password by cmd / security/passwords / registered / show passwords passwords, by selecting the pop password and delete. The indications were going out of the window options, TBird and then restart TBird that would encourage the pop password, in which case the correct version could be provided.

  PROBLEM: TBird 24.2.1 don't ask the password so it can not be corrected. The above method only allows deletion of accounts with no changes or creation of one available. TBird is located just 2 minutes of or3 trying to access the account and then stops leaving one in with old email inbox.

  If you do not get the password prompt, Thunderbird cannot connect to the server. In other words, you don't even not so far to be prompted for the password.
  Check with Bell Aliant that you do not have the correct server settings.

  Boedog, it looks like a software problem. For the program you are using, these parameters must be set correctly for this particular program, there are parameters under their printing options to print without margins.

  In addition, printing without margins will also be activated on our printer. To do that go to the "Printers & faxes" folder in Control Panel or the Start Menu. Right-click on your HP Photosmart C7180 All In One and click on "Preferences of Pinter... "In this window, click on the button"Advanced"at the bottom. Here, you can enable boaderless impression.

  If the parameters match the two places, this should allow you to print without borders again. I hope this helps!

  I just installed Windows 7 and Windows Live Mail.  I'm used to read some messages and then close but keep in Inbox for future reference.  Now, the only options seem to be delete or save them as undesirable.

  What is a POP3 account? View | Current view. Show all Messages is checked and nothing else?
