Please read this message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The goal of this step is to determine if the problem is localized to your user account.
Select the feedback connections* and log in as a guest. Do not use the Safari connection only 'user comments' created by 'find my Mac '.
While signed in as a guest, you will have access to your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you use them for the first time. Do not be alarmed by this behavior; It's normal. If you need any password or other personal information in order to complete the test, save, print, or write them before you start.
Test while signed in as a guest. Same problem?
After testing, log on to the guest account and in your own account, disable it if you wish. The files that you created in the guest account will be automatically deleted when you log out of it.
* Note: If you have enabled 'find my Mac' or FileVault, then you cannot activate the guest account. The login 'User comments' created by 'Find my Mac' is not the same. Create a new account to test and delete it, including his home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The goal of this step is to determine if the problem is caused by changes in the system of third party that load automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.
Please take this step regardless of the results of step 1.
Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.
The login screen is displayed even if you normally connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.
Test in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of steps 1 and 2.

About a month after moving to OS X 10.11.3 calendar application does not load. I thought that ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.iCal deletion would empty it. I no longer get the error earlier, even if it also started with the ApplicationSpecificInformation:
* End app because of the untrapped exception 'NSInternalInconsistencyException', reason: 'this NSPersistentStoreCoordinator has no persistent store. He is unable to perform a backup operation
Don't know what to do next to timing of recovery. Can someone give me some pointers?
Thank you

Please, back up all data. If you have iCloud calendars, archive them by following the instructions on this page under the heading "download a calendar of iCloud.com." all you need is a web browser, not the calendar application. Do the same with the other calendars of network you have, if possible.
Before taking each of these steps, quit (leave by force if necessary) application. After taking stage, recovery and test. When the problem is solved (or when you have completed step 3 without resolving), stop and close the library folder.
Step 1
Hold down the option key and select
Go ▹ library
in the Finder menu bar. In the folder that opens, move these items (some may not exist) to the trash, leaving the open library folder:
Calendars/calendar Cache
Calendars/calendar Cache-shm
Calendars/calendar Cache-wal
Step 2
Move these files to the library folder on the desktop (even once, some cannot exist):
Containers/com.apple.CalendarAgent (and all others with a start of name in 'com.apple.Calendar')
Containers/com.apple.iCal (and all others with a name in 'com.apple.iCal' beginning)
Preferences/com.apple.CalendarAgent.plist
Preferences/com.apple.iCal.plist
If the problem is resolved, you may be able to put some of the items you have moved in this stage, recovery and testing after each of them. Finally, you can find the one that caused the problem; Delete it. Re-create your settings if necessary.
If the problem is not yet solved, put back to each of the points you have moved in this step, crushing the that may have been created in its place. Do not put the files that you moved in step 1.
Step 3
Move this folder on the desktop:
Calendars
Note: you do not move the application to calendars; you move a folder named "calendars". If there is no change, put the folder back where he was.
If the problem is resolved after you move the calendars folder, the event database is corrupted. You have these choices:
Restore the snapshot folder Time Machine or another backup prior to corruption.
Use a third party application like "Calendar cleaner" (not tested by me) to try to repair the database.
For the calendar network accounts, such as iCloud, all you need to do is re-enter the preferences. For subscribed calendars, simply re - subscribe.

Whenever I try to view my friends list, add a friend, or look at someone from another friend list, the application crashes. If I leave the app to do something else while it loads and try to re - open, I get:
Untrapped exception:
java.lang.NullPointerException
Research on the forums for this error of java, most of the suggestions were to reload the operating system of the device such that it may be corrupted. As an attempt to solve the problem, last night I upgraded to v4.5 v4.3. When I have been upgrading completed, my MySpace, AppWorld and Facebook apps has shown under options > advanced > applications, but the icons could not be found. I even searched the hidden icons and still no luck. I used the destop application loader to remove these three applications in the device manager. I then downloaded AppWorld from my (www.blackberry.com) device and once it has been installed it used to download and install MySpace and Facebook. Once they have downloaded and installed, I turned off and only went to a battery. Restarts, showed the icons and apps worked... except for the MySpace Friend list: same problem. I don't remember when this error occurred initially, but I guess it was after the last MySpace app update. Were not immediately thereafter, however. I can access my messages, and the home page, but that's all. I already sent an e-mail to [email protected] with no response
Any help out there!
MySpace 1.5.1.7 version is available for download!
Curiously, the app started working properly a few days there with the exception of slow notifications, but not mistakes.
Thanks for all your support!

I got an incoming call and I hit him either the top or to the bottom of the volume button to turn off the sound. The ringtone to silence, then the unsilenced ringtone 1 second later. Then I hit the top or to the bottom of the volume once again button, then he silenced and I received this error message:
Eception exception: java.lang.NullPointerException
I clicked on OK and everything works fine. Is there any solution for this and should I be worried? I am running v4.7.1.40 (Platform 4.1.0.40).
HI and welcome to the Forums!
Untrapped exception happen - they are basically an event for which there is no program on the device to manage code. It's like a mistake on a computer--sometimes they straight. Future updates will probably help with some. A few things to check and try:
(1) make sure you are on the latest OS for your business... you can check your carriers latest version certified through this Portal:
http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
(2) a Hard Reboot:
Whenever random strange behaviors creep, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.
(3) good memory management:
There are three types of potential memory on a BB: 1) application memory, the device memory) 2 and 3) Media/SD memory card
Application memory - it is the most important; It is protected (not available to the user), dedicated and (fixed size) space as the destination for the installation of applications (more a few storage applications, overhead and other costs). You can't touch AppMemory. You cannot improve the maximum AppMemory that your BB has. It is what it is. Applications can install only here... There is no other choice.
The device memory - it is space on your BB you can touch these files, images, media, etc. In general, it is not very big, but it is available.
Memory card SD/Media - is what it says... your SD card to store files, media, photos, etc.. It can be as large as your BB OS can support... see this KB:
http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB05461On some devices/OS levels, enforcement and the memory of the device are combined into "free file"... This is, IMO, a little more difficult to administer that you can't see really how AppMemory you have. Nevertheless, here are some tips to use:
http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB15345
http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB14320
http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB14213Finally, it is always important to correctly close applications when you are finished with them. Using the back or on the red button won't do that - those leave the app to decide what to do... and some let themselves memory-resident, consumes resources on your BB, slowing down the overall performance. Rather, to close an application, press the BBKey and select 'Farm' or 'Quit'... that forces the application to be closed, freeing for your new use the resources it consumed. Some applications will always be running (in general - BBMessenger, browser, homescreen, phone and Messages)... but, you should always close them properly - especially the browser... If we leave on a web page, it will not consume only additional resources, but the power of the battery as well.
Good luck!

CFEXECUTE and Terminal.app
On a Mac what with the .app extension is NOT actually an executable file. It's actually just a file. Its a special directory that Mac OS X can handle, but to SEE, it's just a directory.
That said, you can just right click on any item on a Mac .app and choose "Show Package Contents", which will open the directory and you show the files inside. For Terminal.app it can go in the contents/MacOS directory and you will see an executable called Terminal.
Yes, run with cfexecute (why you want to do that, it's a completely different debate that to run this will really give you much info) all you have to do is change your tag cfexecute to:
It should work, assuming that you have the required permissions. But, of course, you cannot run a directory and that's why ColdFusion is throwing an error.

Can not explain the error: untrapped exception articinterface...
untrapped exception articinterface docpos error 3 in text is equal to 46
A user of my application is receving this error message when it tries to run on its new 8330 with 4.3.0.0. In the 8330 running 4.3.0.128 Simulator, there is not this problem nor any other Simulator. I don't use that classes more vanilla in my programs and this error is a surprise ot me.
This sounds like a defective phone?
Kind regards
Scott
I found the solution to the problem.
According to a person on the EDGE, there is a problem with the 4.5 OS and LabelField class. By using the BasicEditField class to show the text rather than LabelField, stopped except that occur.
I do not understand why this error occurred with my program in particular. I did a lot of programs which implement LabelField, and which cause no error on devices running 4.5.
Scott
PS the precise error message was "Eception exception: ArticInterface:ocPosToCaret: error 3; formatting of the text = 46 "length

Hello
I got a new Blackberry, the 9360, not more than 24 hours and I got this error "exception Eception: lack of resources net.rim.device.apps.internal.bis.resource.BISClient"
I don't know how to cope, but I get this every time I have to restart the device.
Can someone help me?
Thank you
All your support remains I said earlier... your carrier or dealer is responsible for all your formal support and services. Enter your questions for them, and they would have the possibility of that degenerate into RIM if necessary. Carriers are 100% responsible for packages of OS they choose to get out... RIM releases OS packages only for carriers and companies decide if they wish to release to their users, and if they do while they are responsible for support for it.
Good luck!

Untrapped exception blackBerry Smartphones: app
Hi, help please.
Whenever I reboot my BB Torch 9800, I get this message: Eception exception: Application net_rim_bb_phone_app (106) does not. the process is completed.
What does that mean?
Thanks in advance
Hi, I know, this app is the phone call app for BB. I'm sure that some experts can confirm or correct this.
Although, if I were in your position, I would try to update to the latest official version of the OS to re - install all software in the BB and thus solve the problem.
IMO this will likely solve the problem. Maybe the problem is more serious (something broke with the BB) and then the error keep here, but it is worth the try.
Do not forget to backup valuable data, first
Good luck
Let me know if it worked the answer mark it resolved. THX

Impossible to debug app due to AccessControllException
My application uses the PersistanceStore to store an array of strings.
When you start the application in the normal mode (non-debug), it works fine.
When you start the application in debugging mode, it tells me that CrossApplication is not possible due to the AccessControllException.
It seems that the app is not recognized to be the same application when starting in debugging. Reset the same the entire memory as NVWam, SD card and the file system does not solve this problem.
After reset of all memory, I always get the same exception. Even if, during startup in normal mode, my app tells me that no peristence for this specific key object has been found (if clear memory worked!).
How to deal with it in debug mode?
Thank you
I found a batch/sh file that cleans the directory of simulators (takes 5 min), after that I'm able to debug again. Very strange!
the file was in eclipse under: eclipse\plugins\net.rim.ejde.componentpack6.0.0_6.0.0.29\components\simulator\clean.bat
