Hello

I got a new Blackberry, the 9360, not more than 24 hours and I got this error "exception Eception: lack of resources net.rim.device.apps.internal.bis.resource.BISClient"

I don't know how to cope, but I get this every time I have to restart the device.

Can someone help me?

All your support remains I said earlier... your carrier or dealer is responsible for all your formal support and services. Enter your questions for them, and they would have the possibility of that degenerate into RIM if necessary. Carriers are 100% responsible for packages of OS they choose to get out... RIM releases OS packages only for carriers and companies decide if they wish to release to their users, and if they do while they are responsible for support for it.

    There is virtually no diagnosis of those - they are the equivalent of random errors in Windows for which trace the root cause is futile. Basically, here's the last out in the programming code - some event occurred for which there is no event handler in the code. The patch is an update of the code that handles the event... but, again, what is the event is almost impossible. So, there are a few things to try:

    Sometimes, the code simply is damaged and needs to be updated - just like a reboot:

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    If it doesn't boot properly, then you need to try Safe Mode:

    The toughest possible causes are a bad application behave. To find it, there are two options. Is to see if you can read the log file:

    Go to the home screen. Hold down the "alt" key and type "lglg". (You won't see anything as you type). This will bring up the log file.     Hi, I know, this app is the phone call app for BB. I'm sure that some experts can confirm or correct this.

    Although, if I were in your position, I would try to update to the latest official version of the OS to re - install all software in the BB and thus solve the problem.

    IMO this will likely solve the problem. Maybe the problem is more serious (something broke with the BB) and then the error keep here, but it is worth the try.

    Do not forget to backup valuable data, first

    The first thing you want to do is to try to back up your device as shown in this article. http://bit.LY/aSediX Once you do this, then you can try a factory reset on the device as described here http://bbry.lv/a0QXmX if you are not able to get a backup copy, then it would be up to you if you want to try the rest at the factory as it will completely erase everything off the device and bring it back to factory settings.

    This is the message I get when I want to run BB App World. I received a message that there is a new version available so I've downloaded which and now I can't access it, because of this error message.

    Someone knows how can I fix? I tried to delete the App World, but this option does not even appear on my device...

    OK, I went with the last option to connect my BB to my computer. I've deleted App World in the BB Software Manager and discovered that it was somehow installed twice. This is the same version... I deleted them both and only reinstalled and now it works! I'm so happy, I really missed this feature on my BB!

    On OS 5 browser.field2 is based on the rendering engine of mango. I was wondering if browser.field2 is still inspired by Mango in OS 6 or if it has been updated to use the new engine webkit based.

    I use the Eclipse JDE plugin to develop my application.  It worked well until I have start using hash tables in my code.  After that my application will not work and gave error "error loading of class net.rim.device.resources.Resource.

    This class is part of the standard library and do not know what this error is due to.

    I tried to reinstall eclipse and all the plugins and now my request will not even appear in the Simulator .

    What M.Sohm said is true. To expand a bit about it: If you have a ResourceBundle and the package in the file .rrh statement is at odds with the .jdp, strange things can happen. And if you move a ResourceBundle in a different package, training package not updated automatically, you must address yourself.  Make sure that the package in the .rrh statement corresponds to the Package Explorer view say it should be.

    So when you add hash tables, which was the only thing that you added?

    Do not panic on the application not appearing is not in the Simulator.  When you run an application in the Simulator, build files (.cod, .jar, etc.) are copied into the directory of Simulator (\plugins\\components\simulator).  When you reinstalled, the directory of Simulator has been rebuilt from scratch, without the build of your application files.  Because you can't build, you don't get new build files to copy into the Simulator.

    Hang in there.

    It is a question of JavaDoc, which I have updated you.  The net.rim.device.api.ui.Graphics class is supported here.

    Can you elaborate on what stops working?  What model of smartphone BlackBerry and the version of the software BlackBerry device test you on?  You can find this under Options, all on the BlackBerry Smartphone.

    These types of errors are usually caused by using a version of BlackBerry Java SDK/BlackBerry JDE, which is not supported by the version of the BlackBerry Smartphone you run it on.
