Sum of money for notes and coins in euros

Hello

I create a vi to a vending machine and I'm at the point where I have to return the change.

I want to display the change in $ 1 dollar bills, quarters, dimes and nickels, but I have no idea how.

I already did in another programming language where I subtracted the whole of the double (ex assuming the quantity = 2.45---> double (2.45) - int (2.45) = 2.45 - 2 = 0.45) so int (2.45) which is 2 going in the $1 tickets and the rest which is 0.45 in the rest and so on.

In LabView but it seems that int (2.45) is = 3 not 2 so I can't use this method.

How can I proceed?

(the following needs to be done when the two structures case are false)

I agree with Lynn, your problem with price and amount inserted is not not equal is rounded binary.

You amount inserted is probably something like 6.7777777779 and 6.8000000001 price.  So use integers and cents.
