SUMMIT universal theme 5 42 Login Page Background Image

Chromium the following addition to my CSS theme roller worked well, showing a picture that fills the background of the login screen.

.t-PageBody-.t-body {} connection

background: url (Picture1.jpg);

}

In IE 9 However, standard office of the customer, the image is cropped to show just enough to fill the wallpaper behind the junction box.

How can I get IE to display the full image?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks to all for research.  What eventually wound up working for an image full screen on the default login page is added to my CSS by theme Roller

.t-PageBody-.t-body {} connection

background-image: url (Picture1.jpg);

background-size: 100%;

}

  • Returning from universal theme item values - form Page (modal dialog box)-

    Hello

    I use the universal theme - modal dialog (the form page, page 7) and intend to return several values of the item to the page back 2 when the dialog box is closed.

    I'm back from the point values P7_DNAME & P7_DEPTNO of page 7 of the elements P2_DNAME & P2_DEPTNO on page 2 but does not work.

    Form Page - Page 7 (modal dialog box)

    Process - close dialogue

    Items to return - P7_DNAME, P7_DEPTNO (put several points of values here to go back to page 2)

    Report Page - Page 2 (that calls the page 7 of the modal dialog box)

    Here we have a dynamic Action. I use the event ""closed dialogue ' and 'Set value' action "

    Event (closed dialog box) -

    Action - set

    -Define (return goods of dialogue) - P7_DNAME, P7_DEPTNO Type

    -Selection Type (items) - P2_DNAME, P2_DEPTNO [here I am back to several items.]

    If I go back more than one Page values element, it doesn't any idea WHY?

    BUT if I'm back only a single value of point, there works perfectly well.

    Thank you

    Deepak

    You can return multiple items at once and their values are sent along, but you cannot set multiple items with different values by the action of a set value.

    You must create an action of the value set for each element you want to set the value with the value of the element to return.

  • page background image browse's moves

    Hi, we create an educational application on the dangers of trafficking in human beings human. (I start only with this bit of info I've added screenshots and wanted to be clear about our intention to applications)

    I placed a background image on the pages to browse and left my article invisible cards. The issue I'm having is that the background image is not 'seat' correctly until I have started an article and go back to the page go. I can see it move from a lower position and align on where I plan, he should have. The image is for a horizontal layout of the iPad, and I exported it in 2048 x 1536 to 72 dpi.

    Any ideas how I can solve this problem?

    Hey, Jeff;

    I have this struck yesterday and worked out a temporary solution, below.

    Finally, it is a bug and the engineering on this subject. Challenge ahead (not in next week...)

    I found that this bug occurs on the iPad, but not the iPhone. I have no test for it on other platforms.

    My fixed (which is temporary and won't be necessary in the future and your problem should be considered in the future after bug fix):

    Make your background image taller 140 pixels (size of the retina) and divide the extra space between the top and the bottom of your design.

    So 70 extra pixels at the top, inside 70px.

    Place your design centered in this space. any content found in these buffers of 70px will not appear.

    Did I mention that it is a temporary workaround solution?

  • APEX 5: How can I change the header background in a universal theme by CSS (the page's load event)

    Hi experts,

    After that I improved a few universal application of the theme 25-Theme (UT) everything went well except one of my process of DA.

    I use a DA (Page load) where I change the background color of the div of #uHeader due to the other department wants to have a different color of it.

    He theme 25 dowry.

    Now, I would do the same thing in UT. I used the class .t-in-head-branding for her. When I change it via Firebug - looks like I need. But if I do the same process:

    DA-> Page-> load style assigned-> picker jQuery-> .t-in-head-branding error on the console, he throws firebug:

    2015-07-30_105054.png

    Is there a component theme and the jQuery loading order?

    Or something else?

    I have reproduced on apex.oracle too:

    2015-07-30_105124.png

    https://Apex.Oracle.com/pls/Apex/f?p=16502

    Demo/demo

    Check title + CSS and you can see the error in the console.

    If I use the same for the regular page element etc everything is OK.

    The best way for me should be some create another definition of theme by theme Roller and save and change that he based on variable Department is set programmatically.

    Hello

    You want to keep your background color common to all users navigation bar, or you need to change too much based on users.

    If you want the same color for all users-

    On page 0, create new HTML box, model No.

    Put the code as

    But if trying to define for your application color gradients extract ThemeRoller to http://jquerymobile.com/themeroller

    to set the themes of all colors and gradients you want without doing custom overrides CSS jQM Apex definitions.

    Everything you have requested can be configured via the ThemeRoller.

  • Where did the text "Home" hidden Page 1 universal theme?

    I created an Apex 5 application using the universal theme, and it gives me a default 1 Page with the word "Welcome" in a 30-point font in the breadcrumb area. I would like to change 'Home' to a welcome message, but I can't find not this text.

    You should look under the components shared, breadcrumbs > Breadcrumb > entries >... You will find welcome and you can change it to something different...

  • Apex 5.0: Theme Roller and background image

    Hi all

    I'm new to APEX 5, but have many years experience with HTMLDB/APEX.

    I created a dummy application with only a blank page. Now I want to give a background image for all the pages of my apex application. To do this, I downloaded a picture of 'images of the workspace' and now, I would like to use this image as a background image. Here are my questions:

    1. How can I declare this image as background image using the custom field 'CSS' roll theme?
    2. Is this possible using the theme roller?

    Thank you

    Hi S-Max,

    of course, it is possible and it is not necessary to change the universal theme page templates. You can easily do with theme roller.

    1. Go to components-> themes-> universal theme shared
    2. Scroll down to the region of "files".
    3. Download your background image with the 'Upload File' button (Note: this is not a static file request or workspace, instead, this will be a static file of the theme!)
    4. Run your application
    5. Open the theme roller and choose your theme style
    6. Go to the "Custom CSS" attribute
    7. Use the CSS code you have pasted above, but delete #WORKSPACE_IMAGES #.
    8. Click Save / Save as (-> generates the new theme CSS stylesheet file, which is stored as a static file of the theme next to your background image.) That's why you can make reference to the image with a relative URL).
    9. Click the current value (if the custom theme style is not already the current)
    10. Topic close Roller
    11. The above generated theme style CSS file gets charge and your background image should display

  • Customize the Standard login page

    I use 24 cloudy theme on APEX 4.2.6.00.03.  Just try to do a few things that quickly brought me into an edumacation rabbit hole.  But I like to keep things simple.

    Try to change the background image on the standard login page (not in the region, not the image in option left in the area, I mean background image in the classical sense of HTML) which doesn't seem to work in the same way as the other pages.  It seems to relate to the theme & model page.  To replace the model of 'Login' to 'default theme' Page displays the background as planned for my setup below.

    On the attributes Page for the default login page so any application (e.g., p.101) using this theme (have not tried others).  I have change the HTML header on the page to be:

    < style type = "text/css" >

    body

    {

    background-image: url(#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#test.png);

    background-repeat: no-repeat;

    background-size: cover;

    }

    < / style >

    Where test.png is the name of a file that I imported into my workspace application.

    Run the page, and nothing happens.  Re-edit attributes Page, up to 'Default Theme' as shown and the background shows fine (but of course the rest of the layout is wrong).

    I guess I should be copying the model of Login Page (done) and then edit in a way to support the display of a background on this page.  Any thoughts on next steps?

    Probably your CSS rule is not applied due to rules theme appearing later in the cascade or with the greater specificity. Correspondre correspond to the specificity of rule of theme by adding that he uses the ID selector, then override the waterfall using the! important directive:

    body#uLogin {
        background-image: url(#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#test.png) !important;
        background-repeat: no-repeat !important;
        background-size: cover !important;
    }

    4.2 page Inline CSS property should be used for custom CSS acting rather than the HTML header, which has the advantage of not requiring the style wrapper element.

  • APEX 4.1 Login page kills the existing session cookie

    So far the session cookie enabled us to figure out if the user has already had a session and redirect them to the page they wanted using this session (thanks to a method on the page of connection). Just try APEX 4.1 and it seems that this quick hack will not work, because:
    a. the session cookie has been replaced by the time that the login page is loading
    b. the login page gives no clue as to the destination of the user actually wanted (used to be able to verify OWA_UTIL. GET_CGI_ENV('QUERY_STRING') to see what looked like the URL, but now the URL is simply the login page)

    The problem that I am trying to solve is a job of logging system where users get a lot of e-mail notifications. With the standard behavior of the APEX, they will have to identify each time they click on a link in an e-mail. Because it is a rather unusual behavior for another web application, I used, anyone has any ideas about how to get the APEX to stop killing sessions by substituting the cookie whenever it sees a URL he dislikes? Have tried to use the session 0, but still it beats my cookie.

    Hey Capt egg,

    Nice to see that you studied and found a solution. However, I think that things can be a bit improved. It seems that you already used a custom authentication scheme, it is good, because it allowed to use application session hooks join. However, I think that this does not exactly what you expect.

    During the installation of the session, at the beginning of the Summit "request for treatment, he runs about this code:"

    1 write the session id of the query (parameter to URL or POST) in a global variable
    2 load of metadata application authentication (cookie name, Sentry function, function of invalid session, etc.)

    3. If a global session exists, run "Builtin Cookie Sentry":
    3.1 query the table of the session by the value of the cookie.
    3.2 If the session of the query id matches the overall session id, session information matching.
    3.3. in the case, the session information is incomplete, reset the session variable.

    4. If this is not the login page, run application-specific Sentinel:
    4.1 run the result of the Sentinel session function if a function is defined
    4.2 If the Sentinel returned true function, run the validation function if it is set

    5. "create / reuse Session."
    5.1. If the session variable points to a valid session record, the user to read and other variables of the session save
    5.2 in the case, create a new session not authenticated

    6. write a new cookie in HTTP session if a new session was created

    7. If the sentinels (4) returned false, run 'Invalid Session Manipulation':
    7.1 save deep link in the current page
    7.2 run invalid session function if a function is defined
    7.3 redirect to url "Invalid Session" of authentication

    This is only an overview and implementation details may change. However, I think that it can show major problems with the help of the function of invalid session for Assembly of the session:

    -In (4.1), the engine creates a record of the session and the session id
    -In (6), the engine creates a session cookie
    -Invalid session feature modifies the session global variable id back to the old session, but there is still a newly created session
    -The function of session invalid re-inits the htp buffer and thus cancels (6) high. The connection of the session would create a new session for each request, otherwise.

    My suggestion is that you use a sentinel of session instead. Here is an example:

    function session_joining_sentry return boolean is
      l_cookie_session_id number;
      l_user              APEX_WORKSPACE_SESSIONS.USER_NAME%TYPE;
      l_result            boolean;
      procedure dbg(p_str in varchar2)
      is
      begin
        apex_application.debug('session_joining_sentry: '||p_str);
      end dbg;
    begin
      if APEX_CUSTOM_AUTH.GET_SESSION_ID is not null then
        dbg('apex could already determine session by URL session id and cookie value');
        l_result := true;
      else
        dbg('apex could not determine session by URL session id and cookie value');
        l_cookie_session_id := APEX_CUSTOM_AUTH.GET_SESSION_ID_FROM_COOKIE;

        if l_cookie_session_id is not null then
          dbg('apex found session via cookie. we try to re-use this as our current session id');
          begin
            select user_name
              into l_user
              from APEX_WORKSPACE_SESSIONS
             where apex_session_id = l_cookie_session_id;
            l_result := true;
          exception when NO_DATA_FOUND then
            dbg('session could not be found in session table - sentry fails');
            l_result := false;
          end;

          if l_result then
            dbg('re-using session for user '||l_user);
            APEX_CUSTOM_AUTH.DEFINE_USER_SESSION (
              p_user       => l_user,
              p_session_id => l_cookie_session_id);
          end if;
        else
          dbg('apex could not find the session cookie. sentry fails');
          l_result := false;
        end if;
      end if;

      return l_result;
    end session_joining_sentry;

    Also, it should be noted that the session join is precarious. If you plan to implement this, please make sure that you understand the dangers of the cross-site request forgery:
