  Hello, does anyone know how to disable the item 'show 'Start' workspace when no documents are open"in the General preferences (11.3 InDesign (version 2015.3) via script or command?):

  

  I'm about to deploy several other parameters with CC2015 via script .jsx in the startup scripts folder; a parameter I did was turn off the frame of the Application (app.generalPreferences.useApplicationFrame = false ;)

  I thought that this setting would hide the workspace of starting, but when the startup script runs this command, instead, I see more buggy behavior, a random window appears with the news of the workspace of departure, and then InDesign freezes completely.

  I have deploy a default file, this setting but really tried to get away from that and would like to find a way to disable this check box with a command or a script...  I searched around the object model and cannot find it.

• SOUL adds a thick black border to my videos.

  I've been editing HD videos for my business with Premiere Pro, and every time that I export them using Media Encoder adds these black margins all around the video. When I download videos on youtube, I can 'improve' leaving the YT to crop and it comes out great, but then the 1080 p option disappeared, the quality is 720.

  I don't mind not really so much that there are 720, but I started making videos that do not go on youtube.

  There, it becomes annoying, because we are using this very good camera (Canon EOS Rebel T4i) and by using recordings of crazy big screen and, at first, it's all perfect, hd and everything, but when I play after encoding it just does not fill the entire screen, there is always like an inch or two of all black all around the video. And as my boss said ' Why save us big and lose so much time editing if she as registered with a phone?

  I use SBDAs, some AVI animations I make with AE, 1920 * 1080 16:9 25 fps and HD 1080 anamorphic pixel aspect ratio. 'Same as source' export F4V (Flash 9.0.r115 and higher.)

  Any ideas on what I could do to actually make HD after encoding?

• I think that something is wrong with my rendering in PS. When I Zoom out, it becomes horrible

  I'm high last sportsman of the retina display and apple mbp line 15.

  Problem is that when my zoom is anything but 100% it seems noisy and broken.

  I'm suspecting GPU issues but do not know how to fix it.

  Please see attached image. It comes to 66.7% zoom. It seems perfect 100% but 66.7% is just meh, text and strokes.

  

  Have you tried to change the advanced settings? (Do not forget to restart Photoshop after changing them.)

• Black border added around object build conditional HR.

  We have recently updated since TCS5 2015 release and now we have a problem.

  The HR project is related to the FM band. There are a few pictures that are defined with a conditional tag build. These HR images are created with a black box around the edge.  If I remove the CBT in FM, the black box disappears in HR.

  In FM, there is a setting for TCC of 'Indicators of Condition Show' where, if on, places a color border around each photo flagged.  It died in FM, but it seems to be stuck on HR, and I can't find in any case to turn it off.

  If the frame anchored on the FM band is empty, then HR does not add the box.  If I add anything in the anchored frame, returns the box.

  If I turn off the option in HR to "Distill use to generate an Image", the image quality decreases abruptly, and the box will now appear under the image itself.

  If you change the image in HR, it shows that the black frame is part of the image, so something is added during import.

  

  This is not happened is any previous version of the TCS. How can I lose the box?

• PowerShot sx720 hs - when I zoomed in, why at the top of the screen can range up to 160 X, not just 40 X?

  Having just bought this camera, partly because of its ability to zoom, I was surprised to see the range shown on the screen, don't stop at 40 X, but continue to 160 X I just took pictures of trees in the distance at 40 X, 80 X and 160 X, and they seemed to be equally clear.   You can choose to store the data, but the applications will need to re-installed.

  You can give a try to preserve your programs installed (works for some programs only):

  -Copy all the data related to an application program.

  -Take note of the directory structure as seen currently

  -In addition, if possible, check the registry entries for this application, using a registry editing tool
  -After installation of Windows 8, try to paste application data into the same kind of directory structure.
  -Still, if possible, add registry entries for this application program.

  His laborious route that may work for some simple programs.

  Better is to have all the files Setup for the available applications.

• Mysterious black border (only) at the bottom of the first screen iPhone

  I have an iOS application that I wrote in 2011, and I'm trying to upgrade to the latest iOS and devices.  I have a thick black border at the bottom of the first screen of my request, for most combinations Device/Simulator and iOS. This is * not * a black border at the top and at the bottom of the screen problem, who has been treated exhaustively in the forums.

  There is only a single black border at the bottom of the screen. Also, the border is only broadcast on the first screen of my request, that has buttons to go to the rest of the application. Even if I navigate to the first screen of my request, somewhere inside the application, the border becomes visible. There is no black border in the other forms in the application, apart from the first screen.

  It is * not * seems to be a launch image problem. I have a picture of launch, [email protected], and the launch image works fine. Here are the setups I get or don't get the black border:

  Try to print an self test to see if it's a hardware problem hardware or software.

  Remove the cartridge and roll it back and forth a few times and try to print again.

  I have included a document for printing lines.

  The photosensitive drum inside the print cartridge has probably been deleted.

  Install a new genuine HP print cartridge.

  I'm new to the forum here and am struggling to find an answer to my problem and I was wondering if someone could help me. I use elements adobe first 9 create a photo slideshow.  I have about 90 photos, with several of them and audio text throughout all this.  I don't know very well this program, I used it once to make a video.  When it's over, I burn it to a dvd.  The problem I have is that when I burn it to a dvd and play in my dvd player, the photos are of size reduced and there is a black border around them (all 4 sides).  Do you know what I can do to make it go away?  The last video I had not so I'm not sure what I did with this one.  And I tried to compress images and it changed nothing.

  If some of the stills are smaller than the size of the frame of the project, you will want to either their scale exactly, if required for the extensions to match, or you want to use the default size of the image scale, but take note: scale to the size of the picture by default dimensionnera only the size of fist to the rider, so if the Ratio of Aspect is off say that Images are in 16:9 and image of the project size is 4:3, you'll still have a few black bars.

  If the Images are close, I would say that you are using the fixed effect > Motion > scale, to increase the scale, so that the scope of the draft framework is filled on all sides. It will be actually reframe the view of the stills to the Aspect Ratio of the size of the image of the project. If you don't harvest like that effective, simply adjust the fixed effect > Motion > Position, to get a better harvest.

  The holds of same for still Images, which are a bit larger - I would manually scaling those to match the project frame size.

  That's why Steve recommends a slightly larger Image, that the size of the frame of the project - it gives you a bit of room for manoeuvre, in the final scale and Position.

  A few weeks ago, I turned on my laptopn and there was a black border around the screen. I managed to change the screen resolution, but my laptop seems to think that I have a dual monitor? And my resolution is still not like it was before. Obviously this isn't a huge problem, but it's annoying to have to go and change it regularly.

  In addition, given that this has started to happen, I noticed that when I turn on my laptopn, instead of the usual Acer / Windows startup screen, the screen is all black, until the login screen appears. I don't know if this is related or how, once again, this isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but if an update is installed, you do not see the progress it's making!

  I ran a system restore, without success.

  Running Windows 7 on a laptop Acer Aspire. Any suggestions welcome, although I'm not that tech-savvy!

  The first thing to check is your theme controls. Go to the control panel and select personalization. When this window opens, go down and select wallpaper. When this window opens go to the lower left corner and make sure that the background that position of the image is set to 'bridge '. Save the changes and return (right click on the name of the theme in the theme dialog box).
