Support full-motion-swf files

Hello
Is it possible to create a single swf file, even if the project contains partial complete movement records? Thanks for your time and your answer adavance. Ozlem

Hi Ozlem

There may be. Here's how I accomplished it. This technique was developed by fellow Adobe Certified Instructor John Daigle.

Publish your project to a temporary location. To access this folder.
When you publish, it is important that you check your dialog box to publish Flash Player 7 shows that the version of the target.
After you have published, insert a space before each slide with video full motion (FMV). Configure the playback of the slide time correspond to the slide of the JVM.
Then place the corresponding JVM element that you find in the folder is where you posted earlier. After you insert, delete the original JVM slide. Rinse and repeat until all JVM slides have been removed and inserted corresponding slides with the FMV of the temporary folder.

Publish again (and still make sure that you publish to Flash 7 like target).

As I said previously, this process worked for John and it works for me. But I said it here before, and it failed for one or two people. I don't know why. There are a few small animations may need tweaking if you use them.

I hope that you will succeed with it... Rick

    Do you still have the MBP? If so you can manually copy and paste the files you need.

    If you do not have the pro more, you need to buy a USB key and plug it into the MBA... use it as a target. Once you have a system file of the previous laptop again, you have to manually choose what to copy across.

    You should probably post to a forum of prezi or ask the prezi support.

  • Order full screen doesn't work when a swf file is read on another frame.

    I have a .exe file that has about 90 frames. All executives work very well with the command "full screen", BUT when I click on a button to access a framework which calls a swf file to a specific position on the stage and a specific size to full screen, the swf goes to the size of the regular phase. AND when I get out of this framework, it is not back to expand full screen Command.

    Flash CS AS3 WIN 7 64-bit 5.5.

    I have other frames that play a (movie) swf file to a certain size and position, and they work fine. But is not a swf file. I created all the files except the swf file. I received from someone about 7 years if there is what makes the difference.

    Any ideas?

    If you have configured your main as document:

    import flash.display.StageDisplayState;

    import flash.display.StageScaleMode;

    import flash.display.StageAlign;

    stage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.NO_SCALE;

    internship. Align = StageAlign.TOP_LEFT;

    stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.FULL_SCREEN;

    My first assumption would be, because you said it's been 7 years, this person is using ActionScript 2.0. If you load an AS2.0 doc in a doc AS3.0 who will have limited functionality.

    Try to replace the 7 year old SWF you load quickly with a mannequin made AS3.0 placeholder and see if the problem goes away. Chances are it.

  • SWF file plays fine locally, but not online

    Hello the Flash community,

    First of all, thanks in advance for any idea or support, you are able to provide.

    Here's my problem...

    I have a very basic Flash animation I created. Here a link to a copy of the SWF file on my website: http://www.comrent.net/flash-2-0

    The film seems to work fine in Internet Explorer, but not in Firefox or Google Chrome.

    Here are the details:

    This is an announcement of ranking, and like I said, it's pretty basic. I have a simple motion tween and then a series incredibly looooooong nested clips that create the effect of a meter (like a mounted fast jackpot).

    I'm not really connected with the intricacies of ActionScript, so I could not encode something more elegant. The 'meter' is supposed to represent an increasing amount of money that do not use our services could cost a company.

    Those dozens, hundreds, thousands and tens of thousands use a simple extensible clip. hundreds of thousands use one that is 10 x more for a long time, and so on. I had to stop at 1 million, the number of frames between numbers being excessively long.

    that is, there are 10 images between the numbers for the place of hundreds of thousands in the film, 100 images for millions and 1,000 images for millions.

    It's probably a TERRIBLE way to achieve this effect, but, as I said, I'm a newbie to ActionScript...

    Think the problem could be due to the incredibly long movie clips, I removed the animations from some of the highest numbers of my film and it doesn't seem to affect if he plays in Firefox or Chrome.

    If you have CS4, it should generate disguising code, so when you publish the swf file, also have publish a html file and use (copy / paste) the code it creates in plkace of what you have now.  There is a chance that it will be a file external javascript to be included in the files that you download or create the head section of the html Flash file will be loaded with the js code you will need to also copy on your page.

  • Publication in a SWF file

    Hello
    I'm trying to publish a SWF to put in a PowerPoint presentation. To run in PowerPoint, I need to choose file compress Full Motion recording SWF (it took me two days to many combinations for this information). However, when I select this option, the changes I made to the slide master, such as adding a replay button, will be not in the published edition. These empty full movement are only 15 to 30 seconds in length. Does anyone have an idea?

    Hi Kathy,

    FMR entertainment cannot be changed in Captivate. You can make some modifications FMR animation using the new FMR Editor utility. You can read and download this utility from Adobe at:

    http://www.Adobe.com/devnet/Captivate/articles/fmr_editor.html

    Re-reading your posts, I wonder if you already use the FMR Editor? Or are you the FMR in Flash and then publishes in the SWF?

    You see a problem, that I met where using the update in the library feature of Captivate does not actually update of sovereign wealth funds in the library. When me is arrived, I deleted the SWF file in Captivate and reimported again so he could view the updates I had done.

    Best,
    Aaron

  • Full motion capture cursor trails

    I'm trying to capture an exercise in writing requiring full motion capture. I tried varying the pace as suggested in the help documentation, but sees little improvement. Can someone give me advice on how to address the issue of cursor in full motion trails seizes. My capture is great - 1024 x 768, recorded at 30 frames per second and a 2 minute film.

    Hi CowanJim

    If you use Captivate 2, record a video sequence longer than about 4-5 seconds asking too much Captivate. Captivate 3 has evolved the ability to complete movement, but it is nowhere near Camtasia, if your goal is to have the full movement from end to end. That's why I see room in my toolbox for both products. Each has its own strengths.

    I might suggest you try things would be:

    * I know that you have played with pace and haven't seen much of a difference.
    * Close Captivate and perform a maintenance of your PC. Delete all temporary files, internet cache, etc. Then, run a defragmentation. Basically, make sure the system is as best as you can. Make sure you have plenty of space on your hard drive. Besides, if you have two hard disks, see who is the fastest. You can find that you have a C drive is what we call a 'spin 54' or disc 5 400 rpm and you could have added a second disc which is a '72 spin' or disc of 7 200 rpm, which would be faster. So consider clicking on Options > Options for saving... > Full Motion recording tab Play with the setting "disable hardware acceleration". Here's where you can consider changing your 'working folder '. That's where Captivate hiding places before full motion capture it gets converted. SWF. 'Raw' data, if you want to. If you see something like C:\DOCUME~1\Rick\LOCALS~1\Temp\~CaC96, try replacing C:\ to remove the crud of folder. I think that can slow things down a bit. Or, if you do not have this second fast drive, change to the drive letter. Perhaps D:\. Also try to change the mode setting color video.

    I hope that something here is useful... Rick

  • Firefox does not display the .swf files

    Hello

    Everything worked quite well in Firefox and then all of a sudden it stopped simply to display .swf files. Where they should be is simply empty. On Web sites with a background, I can see the background through where the .swf file should be. This includes the locally saved files as well as all Web sites with a .swf file that is supposed to play.

    I don't want to suddenly quite literally, as it was in the middle of a browsing session. I changed nothing, just... one minute they worked very well, the next they completely arrested. It is clear that the program is to recognize that something is supposed to be there, like Adblock appears a little tab 'Block' on where the file should be, but again, this space is completely empty. He's not black, it is transparent.

    I completely uninstalled reinstalled from zero and 'upgrade' Shockwave it three times now, all without effect.

    You can check for problems with the current versions of the plugin Shockwave Flash and try this:

  • How can I tell where a .swf file is linking in with the submit button?

    Recently, I was hired as a graphic designer and administrator of the site to a local company. Now, everything was working fine until my employer has changed some settings with our FTP. All our "Customizer" on our Web site - which are .swf files - is more work.

    What I discovered is this: when a customer clicks on the button 'submit', the 'page' are they sent to? The information they type in what are to be sent to an e-mail address, but I can't find any of these settings in the .fla files on our server of the company.

    Once I know where they establish between, I can change this path or make sure that the path exists as it appears in the settings of these customizer .swf files.

    Any help that anyone can provide would be much appreciated! I don't have much experience with this program, or flash in general, but I understand the basics. I've spent most of my work day (8 hours) full trying to understand this point, and the end of my Friday draws to a close, I hope I don't spend another week to try to resolve this - a week where customers can customize their products on our website!

    Open the problem page in your web browser and press F12 to bring up the developer tools. Select the network tab (this is for Firefox or IE; in IE you need to click the green arrow to enable logging). When you click on send, it should display the address that the SWF file attempts to access.

  • How to convert WMV to MP3 or SWF file in Adobe Media Encoder?

    Try to load a video file wmv in my PDF but Acrobat says that I need to convert the first SOUL to an MP3 or SWF file. How to make this cause what SOUL says file format is not supported?

    Hello

    Please tell us when you have found this info on the format not supported? When you try to put wmv to SOUL, when you try to convert it to mp3?

    You should be able to convert your wmv in mp3 file - mp3 simply choose formats and convert. But it must be remembered that the mp3 is only audio file so you will have only the audio of your wmv - I guess that video - file. To convert your file wmv to swf video (which is A / V format) you need to use an earlier version of SOUL (adobe removing support for flv in SOUL CC 2014: Media Encoder help |) News summaries). If you have a previous version of yu have to convert your WMV to FLV and then use Flash Professional who convert to SWF - unfortunatelly SOUL cannot convert directly to swf format.

    But... as far as I know you can use other video formats to PDF-dependent format which version of Acrobat you are using. Knowing that you have not to convert your flv to swf - you can just use mp4 format flv of SOUL or really popular (and present in all versions of the SOUL).

    You can find more on what you can put in PDF here: taken supported file formats. Acrobat, Reader

  • SWF files to YouTube-friendly video format conversion

    I have a Flash file that contains two AS3 files and an XML file and want to convert it to a video format so that I can put it in a video player with play, pause, buttons etc. I know have the AS3 files and XML complicates things, and simply upload the SWF file to a converter does not work, nor does attempt to export it in AVI or MOV.

    Does anyone have an experience with a video converter that works with these external files? If not, is there another method where I could transfer frame FLA in Flash?

    Registration screen can be done with QuickTime Player or Snapz Pro if you are on Mac. Camtasia and other options too that are cross-platform. Here is a list of alternates for Windows:

    Faster than you could remove accidental messages, I did a test for you. If you send me an email, my full name at gmail.com, I can show you what could be achieved if you do not have a more recent version of Flash Pro.

  • I can't get a SWF file that works perfectly in browsers runs in the environment Business Catalyst

    My site contains 3 parts. First HTML page which, when opened, plays a video. The link below gives you that.

    http://wrysmilebooks. BusinessCatalyst.com (it takes a few seconds to go)

    When the video ends a SWF file times. The code below should show you what's supposed to happen.

    http://wrysmilebooks. businesscatalyst.com/SWFbutton.html

    The difficulty is that the SWF file will not automatically play from the website within the Business Catalyst. Everything works perfectly when I run the Web page in different browsers with Dreamweaver. Also, if I just double-click the file in the Web site where he is sitting on my computer... the resident browser picks it up and everything.

    I already exchanged a few e-mails with catalyst of enterprise support and the support of InDesign... (The SWF file has been created using InDesign)... .but we do not seem to be getting anywhere. I see by the way go... so... here I am.

    Thank you

    Hello

    All references to start with a slash:

    Have you just put all the files in the root?

    URL('Lbrite_15.EOT?#iefix')

    If so ok, (ideally should be in folders for organizing) but all the files in British Colombia must begin with a slash (/) to say BC to read from the root folder.

    Secondly, you have this:

    {window.location = "file:///SWFButton.html"}

    This is defined as if it were running on your local computer, which is not the case on the web.

    If the html file is again in the roo the window.location would...

    "/ SWFButton.html".
