"Support: Important notice" emails... are legitimate?
I received a few emails this morning (after update my software last night) Support of Apple (?) indicating:
"It is an automatic message by the system to let you know that you will need to confirm your account information within 48 hours. | ||
Your account has been frozen temporarily in order to protect her. The account will continue to be frozen until it is approved and validate your account information. The most likely cause is that you have a setting that is configured to do this in your e-mail program or in your online account. I tried the license of my trial version of photoshop elements, but the download is for windows and I use a mac. Secondly, I get an error message saying that the serial numbers provided by Adobe in the received email are not correct.
Regarding the download, the correct trial version going, you should be able to manage on the link below. If you have made a purchase and bought a Windows license so it is not valid for a Mac installation. You will need to contact the Support from Adobe when they go bacvk vacation to see about getting the correct license.
You can download the demo version of the software through the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

How to import old emails having accidentally deleted the email account?
I have deleted my thunderbird e-mail account and now cannot access the mails I received. I'm trying to find them on the computer and import them, but don't know how to do. I use thunderbird on windows 8.1. Any help is appreciated!
If you have deleted the email account, then it is expected that you wouldn't see emails. So there is nothing wrong with this part.
It is possible to recover a deleted account.
If you have an IMAP email account you simply re-create the IMAP account as e-mail messages are stored on the server and IMAP e-mail accounts have a remote view directories on the server.
If you had a Pop e-mail account, e-mail messages are download from the server Inbox for the email account Thunderbird Inbox. By default, they download, and then delete the copy on the server. So now the only copy in your computer. You can set it up so that emails are not deleted from the server. Tools > account settings > server settings for pop mail account Select "Leave messages on the server" click OK
Note: If you have an account and you want to remove it, but you always want to see e-mail messages, you need to move e-mails in local folders first and then delete the account.
How to recover a deleted email account.
This link tells you how to recover the account. But I described the process below.
First check emails exist make hidden folders and files visible:
In Thunderbird
Help > troubleshooting information
Click on the view file"" button.A new window opens to display the your profile folder.
Click on "Mail".
Click on the name of pop e-mail account (if it does not exist, then they are gone).
Note its name and where it is located. In general: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\profile name\Mail\pop mail account name of the folder.This will show you all the folders listed as "files", they don't have any extension. Thus, for example: you will see the Inbox (email containing) and Inbox.msf (indexing file - no email).
You can open the Inbox folder using Notepad to see the emails.
Assuming that the account and emails are still there: close the window.
In Thunderbird: Create a new pop e-mail account by using the same parameters as the one you deleted.
File > new > account mail ExisitngNow to the point the mail account created to use the e-mail account deleted.
Tools > account settings > server to the newly created pop e-mail account settings.
lower-right look for "local directory".
Click on the button "Browse".
Locate your original pop email account and click Open
In general it is located here:
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\profile folder name\Mail\pop mail account name.Click OK

Start Firefox in Mode safe to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
To turn on safe mode
- You can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
- Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.
- Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "
If it works in Mode safe mode and normal mode with all extensions (Tools > Modules > Extensions) off and then try to find which extension is the cause by allowing an extension at a time until the problem reappears.
Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit ' (Windows: Firefox/file > quit;) Mac: ' Firefox > quit Firefox. " Linux: "Firefox/file > exit ')

AertsWell, you can delete or rename the system11.1.1.x.x.x file holding all properties. Next time you start jdev folder is recreated with default settings. All your changes are lost.

After I installed my new Dell PC with Windows 8.1, I wanted to start using Thunderbird as my emailprogram.
I downloaded the version 31.6.However, it seems to me that the performance of the e-mail is extremely slow. Sending and downloading of emails are nice, but move an e-mail to the following in the Inbox takes up to 20 seconds! Removal of e-mails, same thing! In both cases, I get the message "TB is not responding.
Switching between my two accounts is also a process frustrating, which lasts even longer.Pleae, which ca help me in telling me what I did wrong?

Emails are turned to the trash
From time to time, some of my emails are converted to code what looks like.
There is no particular pattern as to when it arrives or the type of information in the email, some have attachments, some are just text. If the email has attachment image "garbage" that results can be a very long list.
