  Language packs require a license and are only available with Windows Vista Ultimate and Windows Vista Enterprise. If you use Windows Vista professional, so I don't think that it does not apply.

  Customer try inserting Russian characters in a DB 11.1.0.7 with updated WE8DEC character but the inserted information is not right (garbage). First: This character set supports Russia? And if so, what is the proper way to insert and retrieve Russian characters? The client runs an application with us. They would like to know what changes they need to do to support this.

  WE8DEC does not support the Russian. It is an obsolete character for Western European data, usually a subset of WE8ISO8859P1 and WE8MSWIN1252.

  To support storage and Russian languages of Western Europe, they must move their character set Unicode AL32UTF8 database.  See The database for Unicode Migration Wizard and documentation for more details on these migrations.

  I agree with sanremo, your model is designed for the American market, so I don't know if you can find a driver in Russian but look on this posted sanremo m Web site.

  8500 A909 series printers are not compatible with ePrint. There it is, however, compatible with the welcome ePrint and Biz App for mobile devices.
