SV or WLS for JSF1.2
HelloWe are looking into the development of JSF 1.2 by jdeveloper 11g that we currently use OAS 10g, but after browsing a lot it seems that we have don't migrate to WLS 10 since theres no obvious version of the OAS 11 g on the way. I have this and do we have to migrate to WLS or that we will be able to upgrade 11g at a later stage?
Kind regards
Jesper Lind
There are correct.
for using jsf1.2 and JD11r1 you need to migrate to 10.3r1 WLS

11.1.2 - app redeployment/cancellation time poor WLS for integrated
I'm starting to detect a consistent problem with redeployment of hot applications running integrated WLS server. Without changing the application in JDev (which implies no recompilation is needed), under the JDev in Windows XP running tests in a session of VMWare Fusion, also well JDev natively under Mac OS, I see a time of coherent redeployment of ~ 65 to 72 seconds each.
Please note that I am running on a new generation of MacBook Pro, the quad core i7, 8 GB of RAM and a hybrid HDD/SDD 7200 tr / MIN, this material is not the problem with this problem.
Note also my focus on hot WLS, where everything must have been cached by the operating system and JVM several times as it is known always running are the best it will get in the circumstances.
In diagnosing the problem of redeployment, I said that if the application is deployed for the first time to the hot WLS running, the application deploys reasonably fast. Thus the difference between the problem described above is for the redeployment, without doubt the previous application must be cancelled.
To test my theory that annulment is the slow part, via the server App browser, I cancelled the application manually. It's the output:
[20: 49:22] determine the target Modules...
[20: 49:23] cancellation of the Application deployment...
[20: 49:23] [Deployer: 149192] Operation "delete" on request "Application2" is underway on "DefaultServer".
[20: 50:23] [Deployer: 149194] Operation "delete" on request "Application2" succeeded in "DefaultServer".
[20: 50:23] request cancelled successfully.
Note in this case almost a minute to cancel the deployment of the application.
Cancel the deployment is probably the cause in this case, such that it took for the redeployment of our applications, the redeployment is too slow.
Anyone who has experienced a problem here please? I wonder if this is Mac related, however I have tested XP on VMWare Fusion.
In turn can someone give support to diagnose the problem please.
Kind regards

Change Guide to Fusion? Creation of opening WLS for Backing Bean Code
I noticed between the 11.1.1.1.0 and 11.1.1.2.0 Developer Guide of JDev for a subtle change to the code example for a connection programmatically in via WLS:
First note '29.7.2.1 Creating connection to the Backing Bean Code' section of the 11.1.1.1.0 step 4 doLogin method():
http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E12839_01/Web.1111/b31974/adding_security.htm#BGBFJJJH
Secondly, notes that same named section 30.7.2.1 6 simplified again doLogin():
http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E15523_01/Web.1111/b31974/adding_security.htm#BGBFJJJH
Specifically, I note in the new 11.1.1.2.0 points out the subtle inclusion of ServletAuthentication.generateNewSessionID (request);
What is what and what is the effect on my request to ADF?
I ask, because we use the example of Steve Muench 129 for dynamic JDBC connections + programmatically the user connection based on the 11.1.1.1.0 notes. For some reason any code of Steve is thrown:
oracle.jbo.InvalidObjNameException: Houston-25005: view.pageDefs_myAppPageDef object of type Binding definition of the form name is not valid.
.. .when ever I add all links to my pageDef to the page that requires authentication. Go debugging it looks like the JdbcPagePhaseListener is called at a time when the definition of page files will still be initialized (well, that's a guess). This leads me to believe the 11.1.1.1.0 original method of logging via the WLS is not something properly to the connection needed by the ADF.
Can someone give more information above why the doLogin() in the merger Guide method changed between versions please?
With our thanks
CM.Hi Chris,
Wow! Your so quick that you have noticed that there is difference. :)
I just noticed the note on the line with difference as follows:Line 11 ensures that the session for the session ID is changed after the user is successfully authenticated. This is necessary in order to avoid leaving the application open a session fixation attack, that would be a security breach.
I hope someone can explain that.
Kind regards

Update WLS for use 11.1.1.0.2 ADF DURATION
Hello
I just uploaded the new version 11.1.1.0.2 of JDev, but can't find any doc that is associated with the update of a stand alone WLS that already has the old version (11.1.1.0.1) installed the adf runtime.
Everyone finds something to this subject?

Apex 4.2.5 workspace Ords2.0 on WLS with credentials fail
Hi allWe have recently improved our 4.0.2 version (on EPG) apex to Apex 4.2.5 with ADR 2.0 on WLS for a DEV environment.
The upgrade process (seem to) completed smoothly until I tried to connect to the workspace as an administrator, the connection to the internal workspace works very well.
These credentials that worked before (even in autonomous mode) do not seem to work now.
I reconfigured the ords.war and recreated the i.war (for images) with new values, but without success.
Also noticed that 'APEX_040200' and 'ANONYMOUS' patterns have been locked (for security reasons) on the corresponding DEV database.
I have initiated a request for them to be released, we hope it will be done soon.
In the meantime, can someone please provide suggestions valued on this issue.
Kind regards
Madhu.
This issue is now resolved, I changed the password to a different workspace, opening was a success and then tried to change the password of the designated workspace, logon succeeded with the new credentials. He could have been reading DEV box at the top.

Can I use IBM HTTP Server as Proxy for WebCenter content?
When I worked in development, I used Apache 2.2 as a Proxy for WebCenter content.
I would use the WebLogic Server plugin 'mod_wl_22.so' in Apache to redirect the request of WebLogic.
In Production, I need to use IBM HTTP Server (IHS) as a proxy.
I couldn't find any plugin WLS for IBM HTTP Server.
When I looked at the note of support Doc-ID 1111903.1 , it does not included of IHS in the list.
This means that IHS is not supported as a proxy for WebCener content?
If not, can someone tell me where I could download the plugin, please?
I tried to use the same configurations for Apache 2.2 to the IHS.
Startup is fine, which means that IHS could load the module 'mod_wl_22.so '.
But I got error 403 for the connection.
I couldn't see any access connected the WLS, so I guess that the connection failed introduce to the IHS.
Any suggestion, please?
If you want to use for the work of pure http proxy that I don't see why it wouldn't work. However, I didn't a study on this specific topic. However, you may need to do more things manually in the configuration box, and it cannot be officially supported. The unsupported part is often a point where I suggest you use another product that is supported.
Kind regards
Johan.

For Cloud SGD LDAP authentication for users and administrators
Hello.
I recently completed the installation of my new cloud of SGD 12.1.0.3 on Linux 6.4 (on a virtual machine).
My question is if it is possible (and how) to enable authentication for new administrator SGD through LDAP accounts?
We have already our VM hosts configured to allow LDAP authentication to theirs, but how to configure WHO to enable LDAP authentication even as users of server? Because users are in LDAP, they do not have a local account on the servers, and we do not necessarily want users of WHO in order to connect the servers anyway.
One of the objectives to use LDAP is that we want to allow users to have only to change their domain/LDAP password and everything else is updated.
I see that when an account is created in the OMS, the user is created in the repository of OMS database. I really want to restrict not know them to log directly in the database, but do how this is possible. Can we still use pupbld for this? Probably not...
I read the book below the Oracle documentation, but it is for SGD 11.1 and I'm under 12.1.
But the same year, he was not very descriptive about how to set up.
It sounds almost as if you had to take the decision to use LDAP for the installation of beginning of WHO.
I hope not, and I do not remember that as an option that I have installed the SGD.
Yes, you can still integrate with LDAP. Please see the documentation here
http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E24628_01/doc.121/e36415/sec_features.htm#CJAGHGAH
EM use WLS for authentication, so everything that is supported by this version of WLS will work. Documentation received instructions for OAM/OID/HAD and Active Directory are specified.
Users can be changed to type external if they are already created in the repository with the appropriate connection name. Otherwise, new users can be created.
Also be sure to examine the external roles option, which allows you to map a LDAP group to an external role in EM by using the same name and automatically assigning the privileges required by this group.

Urgent - Custom authentication and authorization for the application of the ADF
Hi friends,
Custom implementation for authentication and authorization for the application of the ADF
My project to use the OID , authentication and authorization, we will need to support both OAM and DB tables ( according to the preferences of the client during the installation ).
I am new to this and do not have a clue about the same.
Please guide me how to set up both in JDeveloper 11 g + ADF
Thanks in advance. The answers you got up to present every point in the right direction. ADF security see the authentication of WLS, even for business authorization with respect to user roles defined on the WLS server. During the deployment, ADF security defined application roles are mapped to the user enterprise groups
Application developed using Jdeveloper ADF +.
This would use WLS for authentication
Users of authentication - LDAP (OID) - are stored in LDAP
Use the OID authentication provider in WLS
Authorization - OAM or database (authorization details are stored in the DB or OAM tables)
You can't allow users without authentication. If you need create authentication providers additional if they exist for OAM and RDBMS (there is a supplier of existing RDBMA, that you can use to identify users and to assign membership user groups). Then, you set the optional flag so that when authentication fails for additional providers you can always start the application.
When running Admin users - create users from roles to create and assign permission privileges to the role (for pages and workflows)
assign (or remove) the roles to/to leave users.ADF security uses JAAS to permissions that you can change using Enterprise Manager when running. Permissions are granted to the application roles and application roles are granted to business roles that which then has users become members of the. If you want to change the status of user account, then you don't do this the ADF or EM, but use a direct access to the provider of the user (for example, access OID, RDBMS access etc.) There is no unified administration API available that would allow you to do this via WLS (which uses OPSS).
If your question is in the context of the ADF, the documentation, with that you should follow is OPSS and WLS authentication providers.

With the help of connections to database for the safety of the ADF
Hi all
I have a request of 11g ADF (11.1.1.2.0) that uses the security of ADF and authenticate via LDAP against an Oracle Internet Directory. Now, we have an obligation to authenticate Oracle database users and remove the need to use the OID. Is it possible to do this in WebLogic?
I know that if I maintain my own tables with user name and password in the form of columns, I use a SQLAuthenticator as described here:
http://Biemond.blogspot.com/2008/12/using-database-tables-as-authentication.html
But in my case I don't have my own table 'users', I actually want to use RDBMS users (just like Oracle Forms only). Has anyone written an authenticator class that can do this?
See you soonHello
Oracle Forms keeps a user login to the database schema - so it performs no authentication. If you want the personal connection, then security ADF isn't the riht place to look for that but referrals under ADF BC dynamic JDBC
To perform authentication against the schema of a database without connecting to the application to it (only for authentication pupose), you will need to write a provider of custom authentication (a JAAS login Module) for WLS wrapped. Then, this can be configured using the WLS console and authenticate the user session. This can then be used to authenticate the security of the ADF. See the documentation for WLS for how to write custom authentication providers

How to create a credential under Bank of credentials?
Hello
I have an installation of WebLogic 11 g 1 material (on Windows Server 2012 with Oracle backend) and try to create credentials with credential store framework following steps in http://www.redheap.com/2013/06/secure-credentials-in-adf-application.html
I tried to do with WLST and get the following error:

Thank you
Yu
P.S.: I have not tried the other method described in the post that uses the web interface of Fusion Middleware control, because I don't seem to have access to the web interface. The "Console Server Admin" I can access (to http://localhost:7001 / console) has no link to area > Security > credentials as described in the post.
Specifically what 11 GR 1 material package that you download and install? (there are 3 11 GR 1 material packages download here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/weblogic/downloads/wls-for-dev-1703574.html)
Its likely that the version you are using didn't JRF (required Java files) - If you can confirm the specific batch of 11 GR 1 material you have downloaded and installed.

Until that moment, I have not had any problems with him.

Server.Password = nena12345
This reclassification:
target server # wls (for the value server_soa, EIM use AdminServer shiphome)
Server.targets = soa_server1
Should I leave this soa_server1 way or should I name as
Server.targets = SOAOSBPS4DevDomain
in the previous tutorial, it's how I named domain/server?
I found what the problem was:
First of all, I used build.xml right click, Run Ant target, validateFodConfigSettings
On a few iterations on it, I found that were mistakes, and finally the output is as follows:

In the Quick Start Guide for Oracle SOA Suite 11 g 1 material (11.1.1.5.0)® user Version 1.3, servers and domains names are defined differently in this FOD demo application deployment tutorial.
I hope that this response will help anyone that reached other problems of this type when installing this demo application.
This problem is related to this messages:
SOA 11 g demo FOD deploy question -
Hi friends,
As part of the BIAPPS 11 g config with ODI, we will run in the file configApps.bat which additional WLS for ODI.
In this process we create user administrator biapps as follows
Username: biadmin
Password: $123 welcome
Confirm password: $123 welcome
In which the user above can be used to connect to the ODI studio as an admin user. When I tried to connect to ODI as user biadmin with master and referential work of credentials im getting error as
ODI-10199: ODI Incorrect username or password.
I'm sure the user credentials that I provided is correct, but do not know why im getting the above error.
Kindly help me with this question friends.
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards

Start several areas simultaneously 1 installation of Weblogic server?
Is it acceptable to create and manage several areas simultaneously. Better yet, when several areas on 1 Server WLS, each area have another port number in order to be executed at the same time?
Here is my scenario - I have installed Oracle Business Intellgence, which, by default, installs and configures the server WLS for some Business Intelligence applications (BI Publisher). This instance is running fine and good and always.
Then I got another application, Oracle Data Integrator, that has a Console piece that requires a domain on WLS. So rather than change the existing for Oracle Business Intelligence domain, I created a new domain through the Configuration Wizard and selected these Oracle Data Integrator components.
That is why the current areas:
...\domains\bifoundation_domain--> installed automatically as part of Oracle Business Intelligence
...\domains\odi11g--> I created this area after I
Now I have 2 domains under 1 WLS Server (windows 7 64-bit), but if I startWeblogic.cmd for the bifoundation_domain and I startWeblogic.cmd for the odi11g... While the components for the bifoundation_domain will be available via the WLS Console.
Issues related to the:
-Can I simultaneously use two domains?
-I changed the bifoundation_domain to include the Oracle Data Integrator components. so only with 1 domain, but have all run under this area?
-Is the Port for each subject of the domain? field, the bifounddation_domain and the odi11g use ports 7001
Are there other aspects? Thank you very much.Hello
For the side things WebLogic:
-Yes, you can run two domains on one machine. You can run as many areas that the computer/server can handle.-The ports are important on what you use. Basically, the relaitonship is that you can have 1 WebLogic Server running on port 1. Otherwise, you'll have weblogic servers, prevent others from commissioning. So, you will need to make sure that all of your weblogic servers are configured on separate ports. 7001 is the default port WebLogic AdminServer. You can modify the ports that are used from the Administrator console or '% Domain_Home%/config/config.xml '.
Thank you
