SVG image not scaling

Hello.

I'm trying to figure out why Firefox doesn't scale my svg (logo) image correctly. This is the Web site. It works in Safari, Chrome, and with extra CSS, even in Internet Explorer. So, what is the problem, why it will not work in Firefox?

Thank you!
Fredrik

There are currently no width and height for this image.
Setting the width to 100% through the Inspector corrects this for me.

  • SVG image does not appear in the mobile version, but does in the desktop version

    Hello

I am new to the use of Muse and have created one before site in Muse. I took screenshots to show the problem I'm having.

I used Illustrator to create the image of the logo depending on whether I have save to SVG file:

    Screen Shot 2015-04-18 at 15.01.04.png

As you have probably guessed, I used a clipping mask to insert the purple Mason image in forms and text (this may be relevant to the problem, I don't know).

I then save out as a SVG with the following details as advised by Adobe:

    Screen Shot 2015-04-18 at 15.01.34.png

Before moving into Muse, I File > place the SVG file. "Unable to generate thumbnail" comes in both desktop and phone:

    Screen Shot 2015-04-18 at 15.03.26.png

Anyway, I uploaded to FTP message on my site. While SVG is perfectly displayed on my desktop browser, it not only shows any on my phone's browser:

    Screen Shot 2015-04-18 at 15.13.18.png

This is not only happening on my phone, I visited the same Web site on several phone devices and the SVG image still does not appear. Ideas why this happens?

Have I totally missed something on file formats for versions of mobile browser in Muse?

Also - in illustrator, I saved the SVG logo for the mobile version as a SVG as SMALL as that I saved to the desktop version.

    Thank you

Use a PNG file. I see nothing in your logo that would justify using nothing else. You're not scaling it, there is no interaction and everything that you do is hide some pixel data already. Forgive me, but using a SVG makes no sense at all. In addition one would need to see the file, but my guess would be that once more 'reactive' setting incorporates incorrect data. Wouldn't be the first time...

  • Images not appearing SVG not after publishing to godaddy

I wanted to see if anyone can help me with this as well. I tried to follow the instructions of this previous thread How can I get my SVG is displayed in the browser? With the help of Adobe Muse. I pasted the code into my .htaccess file in my webfoot but my svg image still does not appear.

I also called godaddy support and they gave me instructions to create a web.config MIME file in my folder of root with the code:

    < configuration >

    < system.webServer >

    < staticContent >

    < mimeMap fileExtension = ".svg" mimeType = "application/octet-stream" / >

    < / staticContent >

    system.webServer >

    < / configuration >

This actually creates an error on my page and the page does not load. The tech said that it probably has something to do with my code to web.config. Can anyone here please help me or give me some advice? I would be very happy, thank you!

I'm sure you already thought about this point, but I copied the following in my .htaccess file in my root folder

    AddType image/svg + xml svg

    AddType image/svg + xml svgz

    AddEncoding x-gzip day

It worked absolutely.  I tried what you did at the beginning and the site would not be more load for me.

After that I used some pictures 'SVG' at the end of my work of muse, I exported "HTML files" and transferred all my web server.  SVG images are not displayed, appear other JPG, PNG.  But I downloaded the files in "adobe business catalyst", SVG and other images are displayed correctly.    Anyone know what I can solve the problem?

    Thank you very much!

You must get your provider to serve SVG files with the mime type image/svg + xml to web hosting. Here is a link that describes the problem and the settings of your hosting provider must address. http://www.w3.org/services/SVG-Server/

  • How can I correctly insert you an SVG image in Dreamweaver CC HTML5 page

    HI people,

I'm working on my first site sensitive design. Pretty easy so far, but I'm having a hard time to understand how to insert the SVG in a HTML5 page (Bootstrap and XML).

This is the code I use to insert the SVG that I created and exported in Illustrator.

< div class = "making the scale svg container" >

    < a href = "index.html" >

    < svg viewBox = "0 0 60 55" class = "making the scale svg" preserveAspectRatio = "xMidYMin" >
    < img src = "images/logo - v3.svg" alt = "tag alt here" / >
    < / svg >

    < /a >

    < / div >

    And it's the CSS

    . Scaling-svg-container {position: relative;} Height: 0; width: 100%; padding: 0; padding-bottom: 100%; {/ * substitute this line other than the square format of * /} .scaling-svg {position: absolute; height: 100%; width: 100%; left: 0; top: 0 ;}}

Everything works except I get the following error when I run the HTML validator in Dreamweaver CC. It seems to be this line < img src = "images/logo - v3.svg" alt = "tag alt here" / >

    Screen Shot 2016-04-29 at 9.35.35 AM.png

I spent hours looking for documentation on this in the Adobe site and elsewhere. What I've read the SVG doesn't scale correctly unless it is in the viewBox.

I don't get the error of Validation of Dreamweaver CC if I leave a 'simple' insert/image in Dreamweaver CC, but you do not get the viewBox, which of course helps you control the image.

    Thanks for the help,

    Sylvia

    You use the tag incorrectly.

The tag is for form SVG tags (, , , etc.) not the tag, that's why you get this error.

If you want to use an svg image you made in artificial intelligence, use the one tag with the .svg source.

You can then control with css normally.

  • My web page uses svg images, but when the svg is printed by Firefox they are pixelated with bad resolution.

I realized a web page that uses svg images. One of them is here:
    http://donwagner.dk/JZSS5.4.svg.

The svg is produced by Adobe Illustrator, CS5 version. Seen in any browser, the images look good at any magnification, but when I print the page in Firefox, the image is blurry seriously, apparently because that pixelation uses the wrong resolution.

The same phenomenon occurs in all browsers, not quite as bad in Chrome, but still not perfect.

Do you have plans to fix this bug, or do you have a work around?

  • InDesign and export of .svg images

Y at - it a plugin or otherwise allowing InDesign export .svg images?

My documentation tool accepts only the vector images in .svg format and all my illustrations are made in InDesign (because it's a heck of a lot easier to use than Illustrator).

Currently, my workflow is kind of ridiculous!

Since InDesign - export the illustration in PDF format

Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat - crop the image to a specific size, save as a new PDF (because save a cropped picture of InDesign seems to behave badly from time to time - as I don't know the equivalent of 'Work Plan' in InDesign)

Open a PDF in Inkscape - save as .svg image

I really wish that I could just export directly to .svg! Curiously, I swear to you that InDesign supports .svg back in its infancy. FYI, .svg is always an important vector image format and a darn bit size more effective than .eps.

    * BUT * there is no way I'm paying $199 for a plugin (re: purchase SVG Kit for Adobe Creative Suite 2.0.2). It is quite excessive, IMHO!

I understand that this post will go nowhere... wanted to just scream a bit.

There are no SVG export in InDesign.

Try to save your InDesign file in PDF format. Open the PDF in Illustrator (may not work if you use fonts), then choose file > save as > SVG. Illustrator can record all the illustrations Illustrator in SVG.

  • Is it possible to apply svg image rollover effects?

    Hello

I have svg icons and you want to apply rollover effects - is it possible?

I asked the same thing recently. I figured out two options this kind of work.

You can use a Widget button of the widget library. Remove all default content. Then place the individual SVG images as background images in each of the flyover States. There don't seem to be no control over the evolution of the States from one to the other; the changes are just immediate. For some, I can't tell if this approach would hide the web searchable metadata in SVG placed images.

Animate edge can create some wonderful look with SVG images rollover effects. They are not too difficult to set up, but it does not enter a code simple work on events and triggers. Muse has apparently no way to apply links directly in place. Edge OAM files animate. You need to either get your links set aboard the lead or do something like a transparent rectangle on top of the animation and the hyperlink that.

  • White lines *. SVG-images

When I'm placing a *. SVG-image of Muse, I get a thick white line in the background and a thin white line to the right in the picture. These lines kan not deleted in Muse. Do I did wrong?

For now the only solution is to this choice:

    1. register for the Adobe beta program, sign a NDA and then see if the beta version of Muse corrects problems of SVG.

    2. wait for the next version of official point of Muse.

Muse 2014.2 was released early October. I wonder when "2014.3" will be released. Previously a lot of one-off releases came every 2 or maybe 3 months. We are now four months and counting between one-off releases. It's kind of a long waiting period to get a pretty obvious bug been fixed, for example the problem as outlined white in SVG images. I thought that the Adobe engineers have solved that one pretty quickly.

    Divert:

I can only imagine what is happening behind the scenes at Adobe. They may be doing some fairly big changes, fundamental to Muse to make the application much better. I hope that Adobe engineers are not be distracted by quarter Chair nonsense coming from stock investors. Creative Cloud subscription numbers are up, but Adobe margins have been declining, in part because of a lot of research & development (good for us users). So many stock buyers tell Adobe what they need to do, and some suggest they put much more of their resources in support of sales and marketing tools. Adobe has announced a program to buy back $2 billion in January (after previous finishing). Investors are very excited. They complain on the blow to income during the transition from the software perpetual license in a single subscription model box. Do not include creative professional investors will literally be forced on cloud creative as they get rid of older and slower computers. They don't seem as common Adobe growth in some other niches, like the video. Premiere Pro has been surging in popularity at the expense of Final Cut and Avid. It reminds me how InDesign rises to dominate Quark Xpress.

I don't like having to pay a subscription for Adobe applications, but for my work, I'm stuck with it. Adobe is not enough credible competition to change this. And competitors of Adobe are trying to jump on the subscription model too.

  • SVG Images

I'm working on a project in edge animate using SVG images with Responsories. However, every time that I increase it in my browser (Chrome), the images get very blurry and almost resemble bitmaps. I saved to Illustrator SVG images in SVG 1.1 as a single layer. I searched everywhere and can not find answers on this issue. Also, I made sure to change the properties on my images "img" rather than "div". I use symbols on the timeline for animate those symbols. I hope someone has an idea on how I can get the SVG images to enlarge properly and at higher quality. I also used this video to Adobe to add sensitive code on the scene: http://sarahjustine.com/2013/04/08/create-scale-to-fit-projects-with-adobe-edge-animate/

I'd appreciate any help as soon as possible.

    Thank you!

Hi, I just got this isseu

its an easy fix... just click the svg in the project... in the menu on the left bar theres an option to select a div or an img tag... tag SELECT img and you are all set.

  • Change the color of an object inside the svg image?

    Hello

I would like to draw an animal with several fill colors, but creating a different image for each color does not seem reasonable. It would then be possible to change the color of the image with the help of code svg.

    I found the following:

    http://StackOverflow.com/questions/11978995/how-to-change-color-of-SVG-image-using-CSS-jqu ery-svg-image-replacement

    or

    http://Keith-wood.name/SVG.html

But I get an error of installation with two options - mad.

Maybe someone here can create an example on how to change the color of the svg image added in stage with a click of a button?

    Thank you

This is an optimized version (less code and navigation): file attached.

    About 1.

What functions are you talking about [. createRect(),. changeImages(),. colorizeParts()]?

    21. you can hide and see the mouth open or closed mouth.

    22. you can use many features of jQuery:.css(z-index) or before(), after(). Maybe,. map().

  • brush strokes not scaling

Hi, I have a problem with strokes not scaling. I used one of the default brushes from adobe to create a gouache on some illustrations based on the form, however, when I select a group to scale the image down or scaling using the tools of transformation, the brush strokes are still enormous, or well be deformed. How can I scale reliable the whole shebang?

    quietly,.

You checked scale Strokes > Effects (you can do this in the palette/Panel processing)?

If you have CS5, you can also deselect snap to grid of pixels (if checked).

  • Import of SVG images in DITA topics / controlling the size

    Hi writers,

I am currently evaluating DITA using FM9 p250 and the DITA FMx plugin. If we adopt DITA, should be a replacement for vector graphics formats, that we currently use. I am considering the SVG to cause the return options. We could use Illustrator or Visio to create. I created a few sample files and imported in a DITA topic, but I can't seem to control the size of the screen.

When I use the - import - file, the size in the import dialog box settings seem to have no effect. I can then scale the image via the properties of the object, but I lose these changes when the topic is closed.

I think that someone has reported a problem with SVG and 8 FM in this forum. This behavior is a known bug, even in FM 9, or I do something wrong when importing?

Are there attributes DITA, I could put to control the size?

    Thanks for any help

    Susanne

    Hi Susanne...

It doesn't seem to be a bit of a bug in FMx when it comes to SVG. If you have activated the option 'Use fmdpi', you should turn that... It seems to conflict with sizing of SVG. If this option is not, when you insert an SVG image, you can then resize the image as necessary using Esc, g, o (or graphics > properties of the object) and by setting the values of width and height. Do not set the values of height and width in the attributes, use the object's properties dialog box.

Also... remember to set the size of the image, not the framework. FMx "shrinkwraps" the frame to the image in order to select the image you just click in the middle of the image, not the edge... by clicking on the edge will probably choose the framework. After you set the size of the image, the framework must readjust to the new size of the image... If it doesn't, try saving the file, this re-shrinkwraps images.

You should be able to set the size of the SVG but... works for me.

    See you soon,.

  • sparsebundle disk image not mounting

I've recently upgraded to Mac OS Sierra and now I can not mount an image of disk sparsebundle.

I tried the same image on a Mac running Leopard and it opens fine.

I tried a few other sparsebundle some and other encrypted disk images not. Some are open very well, but others do not.

So, it doesn't seem to be a problem of sparsebundle encrypted disk image.

    Any suggestions?

After investigation a little more the problem is Sophos AV

Turn it off and the disk mount fine images.
