• Hyperlinks between documents in InDesign and export to PDF

  I have a problem with links in InDesign CS5 for Mac and then export to PDF.

  It links in InDesign is no problem, I select text and make an anchor text and then I select text more and make a hyperlink to the text anchor. Easy.

  My images look stepped in InDesign on display settings high performance), and they remain just as irregular when you export to PDF (with everything on the print settings high quality).

  Make a sample page with a copy of the full-size image, and a copy resized to scale, then export to PDF using the predefined quality press. Do a test print on the printer you have and the worst and make a judgment. If you do not see much difference, it is probably not worth the effort to resize.

  I deleted all caches of fonts and it made no difference. Also on occasion, drop down menu police will show no previews of all the fonts, just all white.

  Did you uninstall all fonts? Looks like the system font required may be missing.

  You can also try clearing the police puts in cache and replacing the prefs. For the latter, see replace your preferences

• Export InDesign CC problem in epub images

  I have a problem with an epub in InDesign CC 2014. It has images placed in the text and some do not display correctly when the book is exported to epub.

  I have attached a picture to show what's happening. The image is repeated in part at the top and then cut down.

  This is not the case with all the pictures in the book.

  The book is set up with a document of a book containing separate coverage, introduction, content files and each chapter in InDesign.

  Each image was inserted in the text by me setting a return in the document formatted with a style of photo to the center of the image and put a few abova space and below the image and then placing the image of this paragraph mark. I have not formatted the images in any other way, and some had to be reduced to fit on the pages of the book. Most of the images that were brought down show very well, but we have this problem. Another SOM that is installed on the page that they were inserted into the images I have this problem of repetition.

  I have exported the recomposable epub and then I used the standard export ID CC for the epub parameters.

  It seems to me that created for the epub CSS is dealing with images as background images and repeating. I looked in the code for the epub and did not see where this is going well.

  I've done several ePub for the customer even files with the images inserted in the text as this, and other ePub files did not have this error with the images.

  Is someone can you please tell me why this is happening now?

  

  I found the solution to this myself.

  You must set the images in the epub to export in png. The problem goes away.

  I found this as a hint on a forum somewhere else after having done a lot of research. I can't find the link to the forum at the moment, but if I do I'll post it here as well.

  Problem solved and the customer is happy.

  If it is not one of those ^ and you print directly from InDesign, go to print > graphics > Image > data send: > and choose 'all '.

  Or better yet, export as PDF and print from Acrobat.

  Recently when I finish editing a picture in LR5, I noticed that the detail of the image have been tarnished down and blurry when it was open in the develop module.

  Ive double checked everything from the color space, image format, quality level, even tried to download one of the images exported on my site in the hope that it was something wrong with the preview, but it looks the same.

  Only other thing I noticed when I discover the image in 'library' mode, it loses detail as well as the exported version. Only when its in "develop" mode is when it shows the real detail and treated quickly blacks I upgraded. And it didn't used to do this. So Im hoping that I've accidentally changed a button and it didn't...

  If anyone has information or can point me in the right direction of something that can help solve the problems or solve this problem, I would really appreciate any info!

  The library and export modules use a more accurate algorithm that the module development of resizing. Normally the previews of module development and library will look nearly identical to the less than 1:1 Zoom mode (i.e. Fit view). When they are not it is generally an indication that excessive sharpening and/or insufficient Luminance Noise Reduction is applied to the image. This causes the image to appear "lighter" and "weaker" in the library module and files for export because of excessive noise. The overview of the develop module uses a faster (less accurate) resizing algorithm in order to avoid the 'delay' when the adjustment slider. This can cause the image to appear sharper and less noisy that the library module overview to the Zoom display settings lower than 1:1 Zoom.

  As Jao vdL mentioned, 'ONLY to touch the sliders detail with zoom 1:1 to develop. ' The library module previews need to be "rebuilt" after setting in the development of a set of images module. You can do this by clicking on the image in the library module (Zoom 1:1 mode) or by selecting ALL images edited using menu library > previews > Build Standard or 1:1 previews.

  This set of pictures were probably shot with an higher in the camera ISO setting (> 800 ISO). High ISO images usually require a 25 Luminance Noise reduction setting, or even higher if the image file is underexposed.

  Thank you Joe Maniac.  I deleted the original linked files on my internal hard drive which were dng files, but had copies of the raw files edited and edited the exported raw files (in JPEG format).  I don't have copies of dng files.  So what I ended up having to do was import the original raw files which then made a DNG copy on my internal hard drive.  The link has not changed, but now the files were back in the original track for missing photo alerts disappeared and I was able to see my change history.  The process has been painful, but without the dng, I had nothing to do a link to more if at least re-import them files has recreated the dng.  I don't know if there was an easier way, but it seemed that the problem did not the link deletion.  I use LR for a few years, but it was a rookie mistake, precipitated by my hard drive being so jammed up I ended up delete what I shouldn't.  I should have just moved the dng and the link to an external hard drive.   Please go to file > export to HTML format and export your site in a folder you want.

  In the same folder, you will be able to see a folder named "Images" that will contain all the images used in the site.

When I was editing on photoshop, I tried to export the image, but the colors seemed different, a bit washed out and blue, from the color of the workspace, I was on. I don't know how to solve this problem. Please notify.

  Color Bridge books are specifically developed after the conversions to CMYK (for an unknown color space) of libraries spots. If you want to spot colors, you must use one of the Pantone Solid libraries (i.e. Pantone + Solid Coated).
