  I created an SVG in Adobe Illustrator CC with all of the recommended settings (Yes, I unchecked "reagent"), and then placed in my site in Muse CC and it does not appear on my site.  It simply shows a broken link photo icon where the image is supposed to be.  I thought that at the very least, it would show the PNG image since it is supposed to automatically create the PNG.

  I have what I think is quite fundamental question: when I generate my WebHelp Pro project, everything works perfectly until I have move the contents of the output folder to a network drive for viewing. When the default theme opens, rather than display the table of contents/search on the left, I get a link that says "view". Click on this link, and the table of contents opens on the right.

  

  I would like to have the table of contents displayed on this initial point of view, without requiring users to click on the link 'display '.

  Yet once, when I check the output results on my local drive, the table of contents appears. The obvious problem is generated using must reside on a network drive to be viewed by our users...

  PS: The project is on my local drive, only the contents of the output folder is moved to the network drive. In addition, any display of the table of contents seems to work very well.

  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  Larry, Rick has solved your problem of conditional compilation. However, make sure you have all updates installed for 10 of RoboHelp.

  I noticed that you are using IE. The link display occur with Chrome or Firefox as well?

  Meanwhile, I'm still suspect that you do not open the good 'default' start the page file to start the WebHelp and that's why you get this link 'Show '. It's 'witness' that you open the file in default theme instead of the default Start Page. By any chance have somehow named "the topic of your default", index.html?   In the project settings > title of the project, we have the label we want users to be able to see in the title bar of the browser output WebHelp.

  However, in the browser, the title displayed in the top navigation bar is different from what we have in the project settings > title of the project. How to change that?

  The title of the project in the project settings > project called MyProject

  In the output of the server, the browser bar says:

  http://MyProject-test/RoboHelp/Robo/Server/General/projects/MyProject/Temp_Project_for_Myp roject.htm

  At the same time, we had the project named 'Temp_Project_for_Myproject {}' but we changed and we cannot get rid of the old name in the output.

  Wading in uncharted waters here. I think remember that for WebHelp Pro, you have a definition of the window. Have you tried looking there?

  View > pods > implementation of the project. Expand the Windows category and double-click on the definition of the window you should see.

  I configured my H1 style so that it has a gray background color and a background image that I've specified to display to the left and down with no recurrence. I also added a quantity of filling down so that my background image is forced to land. The effect I created looks like this:

  Background-attachment is the culprit, you also had two background images specified, so I deleted the redundant style:

Currently, if I create a bar horizontonal chart the values for each of the bars are only visible if I hover above the bar. Is there a way to display the actual value on the bar or another method to display this value without having to go.

• Satellite P750 - unable to connect an external display via the VGA port

  Hi all

  My problem is the following:

  I tried to connect my P750 (running on W7 x-64) an external display using the VGA cable port. Unfortunately, these devices recognize my phone. Laptop does not recognize the external display, you can see in the graphics settings as additional display, but the screen shows "no signal".

  The computer always identifies the screen correctly, so it seems that there is communication from the screen to the PC, but not the reverse.

  This has been verified with 3 separate screens and television - still the same. All the screens work properly with the other PC.

  I already have:

  -try to play with FN + F5 / "windows" + buttons P - no change
  -install the latest drivers BIOS and video site Web from Toshiba - no change

  Suggestions how to operate? Is it possible that the VGA port is faulty?

  You have the same problems with a HDMI output port?
  Usually, you don't need to change anything to get the external monitor works.
  Press Fn + F5 several times until the monitor RGB (VGA) was selected

  I have a problem using the ListBox selection mode 1 or mode items. I have 6 channels of data, and I have a 2D chart. I am able to reterieve the signal names in the list box, but I want to be able to choose one or more signals to display on the chart. I used the table to index my 2D data are connected and then the output of the index table is connected to the graph. I had to use the listbox control as an index for the table to index and display the data in the index selected for display on the chart. I used lisbox as the value property nodes, the line active and all but not able to display signals on the graph. I have attached a code example to show you what exactly I'm looking.

• Question about the display of the metadata of jpeg in lightroom

  I briefly crossed the material of the SDK, but there are some aspects remaining unclear for me. More in detail, I would like to show the tag RegionName jpg file in LR metadata for research etc. This tag contains the Picasa face recognition data. I have already experienced the exiftool and how to add names to RegionName to the subject or keywords Tags in jpg-file and corresponding .xmp file to the raw file. However, I would like to find an elegant solution by showing the tag in the LR directly. Before you try to do the LUA code, I want to understand a few basic principles behind the plugin programming namely:

  (1) how to read the label RegionName since the jpg file and in what part of the plug-in? Is there a way to make LR read whenever "metadata file reading" is used?

  (2) how "publish" it displayed in the metadata Panel on the right side of the LR (this is handled a bit in the examples, even if I don't understand the reference to the com.adobe.xxx know what structure is really referring to?)

  Comments and help is welcome on this page or any advice where to find information!

  Mikko,

  LR provides access only to certain fields of metadata, not all.  RegionName is not one of the fields that LR is known, then you will not be able to use metadata methods of the SDK to access or display it.  In general, plugins that want to access this type of metadata to run the free Exiftool on the images and then analyze the output of Exiftool.

  The ExifMeta plugin exposes all the metadata that is accessible by Exiftool as custom in LR metadata fields.  I suggest you to try this plugin see if it meets your needs.  If it isn't, you can examine its source code as an example of how to use Exiftool to access and view metadata.  Plugin author Rob Cole is a contributor of this forum and quite willing to answer the questions.

• Urgent - help merged HTML projects - display in the same window

  As a result of the recent windows updates, I have all sorts of problems. My most urgent problems is as follows:

  First of all it's in RH8 and yes I have updated to version 8.0.2 and project is ready to re - build cpd each time.

  So I have a project of mergers as follows:

  Parent project

  project of the child 1

  Draft 2 Collard, etc.

  When I compile a project to help html with table of contents, and the parameters of source window unique default, if I click on a child of the project it is diaplyued in a separate window. If I then select another project in the parent TOC project, it is also displayed in a different window, but the window still has the legend of the previously opened file.

  What I need that the end result is for my project output help HTML al display in the window even if I click on an element of the parent project, or a project of child item.

  Please can someone advise dem how do I close a date limit and as usual, it seems that RH8 has let me down again...

  It seems to me that Colum needs more coffee, because the options cited have nothing to do with other windows. They have to do with the question of whether the displayed topic synchronizes with the table of contents and if table of contents entry is highlighted.

  I think it has to do with creating a window of 'Global '. You change the names of the windows so that they understand Global.

  I have a small database used to store news articles and post them on a website.  However what is happening, is that the press articles are not displayed with the information in the paragraph which came it.

  
  When the page is displayed it just displays the text in a block even if I see the carriage returns if I discover the database in phpMyAdmin.

  You have two options:

  • Save your items with embedded HTML (use something like FCKEditor or TinyMCE to add HTML features to your text box on the entry form)
  • Place two new lines between each paragraph in the text entry and use the PHP function nl2br() displaying the output
