SWF in Flash CC image export

I'm running Flash CC and have attempted to export a SWF to image a little less than 40 KB. SWF is the file format accepted for an online advertising campaign and I am struggling to find the best way to combine quality and file size. The image is static. If I could use a png or jpg, I would...

Flash keeps the export of files at 9 Ko's and they are horrible quality. Any advice on how to change the Flash export settings to improve image quality and maximize my limit of 40 KB would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to export the image using InDesign and the smallest file size I could get was 130KO with decent quality after exporting as jpg and re-export. Unfortunately lower the quality of the jpg only helped lower 250 KB to 130kb... Not quite enough... Suggestions on the export of smaller SWFs via InDesign would be greatly appreciated (even if I think I have optimized parameters).

I've read tutorials and google for hours. At this point, any suggestion is welcome!

change your picture in photoshop and experiment with different size settings.  There is no setting of small file size magic of high quality.

It is a compromise.  the higher the quality and more dimensions of the image, more the size of the file.  you need to decide where those who are acceptable.

  • Open an image exported from flash to illustrator, washed color?

    Hello

I ran into a bit of a situation. I take screenshots for a printed brochure, that I'm working on. I open the screens in Flash and use the "Trace Bitmap" function. When I finished, I export the screen to a file .ai for use with my original work. I opened the screenshot exported in Illustrator, and the color seems to be rinsed. I guess that's because in Flash, the image is RGB in Illustrator, it opens in CMYK mode. Is there a a way to open these files exported in Illustrator, while maintaining the integrity of the color?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Is there a a way to open these files exported in Illustrator, while maintaining the integrity of the color?

Probably not. Like the others already mentioned, there is no way to print in CMYK colors. You could improve results by manually adjusting the mix ink of each sample for example remove cyan red pieces and yellows which often introduces automatic conversion, but finally there are colors that you can't reproduce. Those who will be printed as of tones. Even with the twisted colours, the possibility to print correctly will require you to work with a proper calibration...

  • A way to see how long an image export takes?

A way to see how long an image export takes?  In lightroom is something that will show you how much time it took to export images? or even text files somewhere that shows the time of beginning and end of the export of images?

Look at the time stamps of the files (not the time, the timestamp of change). If you export a bunch of files, say 100, you look at the first and last and split the difference of 99. You get the exact average time that he needed to export an image.

However, this does not mean that the 100 images will take the same time. Only when the size and the edits are similar, time will be similar.

  • Application, usability and the availability of the adobe Flash Builder to export for students?

    Hello!

I am a student of the Estonia and I do my final paper for my graduation.

What chances or opportunities do I have, if I want to buy Flash Builder, apply, export it, and use it for my final document (code in Estonian language tutorials) for free?

Well, Adobe did have a program that gave Free Flash Builder for students & teachers, but apparently he was interrupted - sorry!

Versions of 30-day trial of Flash Builder and all the other tools CS6 and creative cloud are still available, if that helps.

Adobe also currently offers free dashboard copies animate 1.0 for everyone (versions permanent web content creation for interactive & animated), which could serve as a nice substitute.

  • Images exported rough

I tried to export images, but it is rough. For the first 3-4 seconds its fine, then the sound is good, but the video sort of freezes.  On computer/images/export still frame rate? The other possibilities that can cause this?

Said Dave - MOV and AVI are container formats, only the CoDec within the material. You may have a second 1 clip choking your system - if it's uncompressed 4 k res or has 7.1 uncompressed audio attached, so including service say nothing really on the way he plays. all that matters is the effective data rate and how your system handles it - it will be always high for anything that is uncompressed, but more compressed formats will play on most computers powerful enough. of course, compression may mean that you sacrifice quality, but it's a complex subject a and expect no easy answers. Do a more general search on the web and you find out about all the technobabble...

  • Bug: export flash as image smooth

I've created a banner with flash CS4. So, I exported it to print large scale png.

I noticed that when I select a dpi higher export, the exporter cut a part of the image. I tried with 300 dpi.

When I turn off the smooth, the export works very well. I also used the png because I need the alpha channel.

You can try the same in CS3 too.

    Thank you.

Hey guys, figured this out. It's kind of hidden and I really hope that it works for everyone, but here's what I did to make it work:

    > Had my Animation

    > Click Edit > Document

    > Change the stage size to exactly match the dimensions of your creation

    > Click OK

    > File > save as / export (everything you do, whether animation or the art of the image)

    > Do the normal thing of record/export.

    Try it!

  • Why Flash CC cannot compress a SWF and Flash CS 5.5?

Did anyone here knows why this happened?

I have a FLA where I had to export a SWF file not exceeding 40 KB. Without changing the settings, the SWF exported about 63 KB. Then I opened the FLA in Flash CC and went to publication settings. Tried to change the quality of JPG, click on compress movie (Deflate), removed the check mark include hidden layers. If that wasn't enough, I tried to compress each image in the library by accessing the properties for each. After playing with the image quality for awhile, the smallest, I could compress the file SWF has been 58kbs.

But then... I tried to open the same FLA in Flash CS5.5. Use the default publication settings. Has not changed the file either. And the exported SWF was 35 k! More image quality was a heck of a lot better than the 58kbs SWF exported out of Flash CC.

No idea why? CC adds nothing to the file that does not have 5.5? I just find it strange and annoying to work with when the requirements of size of file for flash banners are always only 40kbs...

    Thanks for any idea!

The version of Flash Player you target probably has a lot to do with it. New versions of the Flash Player have new capabilities, so additional code requires more space.

Be sure to export that you target the same version of Flash Player in both applications. Also do not include the XMP data unless you need it.

  • Flash Pro CS6 - export the Sprite with EaselJS JSON Data sheet

    Hello

I have imported a png sequence into Flash Pro and tried to get the new generation of spreadsheet sprite functionality to export JSON data in EaselJS format, but when I choose the option EaselJS in the drop-down menu, I only get a window function:

    (function (window) {}

    (} (window));

However, when I export to JSON format, I get the appropriate JSON data.  Is this a known issue with the support of EaselJS in CS6, or should I do something differently?  I prefer not to use Zoe, the SWF file to the usefulness of the AIR EaselJS, because the png is large enough and Zoe seems to have a cap of maximum dimension for the export of sprite sheets, I get 12 of them while Flash Pro is able to automatically detect dimensions, export a sprite sheet, which is great, I just need to generate the data EaselJS with her.  Thanks in advance!
