  Looks like your mask has too many paths of access or summits. Try to turn on caps lock shift before you open the ASP (project file) or before you launch AE.   Hi all

  I just started using after effects CC and I'm kinda stuck. I have an imported video that is 2 minutes long, but I need only 10 seconds of it. So, is it possible to cut the video for 10 seconds I need? I tried "Edit original", but that opens the video in windows media player.

  I have a 30 minute sequence I want to use to create special effects in After Effects.  I want to only use several small pieces (10 or 15 images) of the clip in After Effects.  I can't understand an easy way to find and change the 15 images in the film 30 minutes inside After Effects.  How can I identify the clips / images I want to use in After Effects.

  I'm slowly but surely mad. Our project is mounted, 30 hours of video are waiting to be rendered. And the first nested sequence imported from the body After effects fails miserably.

  What is the problem?

  

  I have these sequences of the body. Note that on video 3 there is a "Cup" at 02:14. It's not really a cup it's my EOS 5 d MIII images. The EOS stops after 29mins record - but the two clips are seamless.

  Now I replace with a Composition of Effects after. I tried nested, to them, grouped, separated, track at once and all the tracks at the same time (as it should).

  That's what I get:

  

  15 second gap between the two clips. None of the clips have effects of any kind applied to them.

  Please help, not only am I'll shamelessly insane, we are going to miss our deadline because of this.

  Now, you are facing the following problems:

  -make the order;

  -bugs in the key effect hidden Track.

  -from top down according to their position in a list of the applied effects.

  - Fixed effects are rendered after Standard effects.

  -nested content is rendered in bubble mode of Crescent: a greater depth to the surface.

  There is a bug in after effects CC 2015.3 that causes red images to appear in images encoded with the H.264 codec.

  See this thread for an explanation of the problem and a workaround that you can implement up to what Adobe released their official hotfix update.

  AE creates video content does not blink. You'll need Flash for this. You can loop a video using a HTML 5 player.

  There is no dpi or poi on video because there is no thumbs up video, a few pixels. The same goes for the web. A jpeg 1ppi 200 X 200 pixels will be 200 X 200 pixels wide on video or on a web page. If you change the PPI for this picture of 999ppi and keep the dimensions 200 X 200 pixels, the image will always be 200 X 200 pixels in a video or a web page. The only time where you will get a different size for an image with the same pixel dimensions, but different DPI (DPI scanners or printers matrix) is if send you the image to a printer using a software program that uses the PPI for the sizing of the image.

  If you have problems rendering a F4V for flash and then just make a h.264.mp4 and then change the extension and use Flash to play the loop. Flash will also loop a mp4, so this is kind of a no-brainer. The only time you would have to restore a f4v for flash is if you need transparency but html 5 media Player does not support transparency if you are kind of barking the wrong tree here if you want your video to work on a mobile device.
