  I need to move from two Oracle 11g alternating BAM dashboards.
  
  I tried, without success, this:
  
  (1) made two custom html pages. Each of them have an iframe whose src attribute call one of dashboards and to a javascript timer to spend.
  The switch method works very well. But the dashboard works very strange inside an iframe. (Yes, I've seen some other posts here that this isn't an officially average a opens a report, I know.)
  
  (2) made a custom HTML that open two other windows of the browser with code like this:
  win1 = window.open ("bam url");
  win2 = window.open ("bam url");
  
  And in this window, I have a javascript timer to switch between windows using win1.focus or win2.focus alternating.
  It works fine in Firefox, IE6 and some versions of IE8.
  But Firefox, it is not taken in charge by Oracle BAM and most installations of IE8, does not work, does not bring the browser window to the foreground, flash only the title bar.

  In my case, I used VirtuaWIN. It is a free program that you can download here: http://virtuawin.sourceforge.net/
  It simulate several virtual desktops so that you can set virtuawin show 2 desktop computers and open the dashboard to desktop 1 1 and 2 on 2 desktop dashboard. After that just set virtuawin to change between them every 5 minutes (or any time you want).
  It suited me well!

• "Data dashboard" version 2.0 list drop-down list seen only "one, two, etc.» Instead of the text Enum

  I am currently using the new data on an iPad dashboard 1. I'm coding in suite developer Labview 2012. I found that switches work very well when it is associated with a shared variable. I finally managed to get the drop-down list to control a shared variable of data type typedef/enum. This control very well within the Labview program, but on the dashboard of data drop-down list shows only the "One" "two" etc... instead of the text 'This' Enum 'As' 'Other' I can write back to the dashboard with a text conversion of the enum to the dashboard and place it in a display of string over the fall down. While this gives the operator a display of the current Typedef/enum, it is not very intuitive. They must select 'One' to view 'This' "two to display 'Than' etc...

  How can I get the dashboard of data drop-down list control to display the text of the enum instead of "one" "two" etc?

  1. I've been running WHS 2011 successfully for a few weeks, 6 on an i5 with 8 GB of memory (only currently installed by computer Client is an Acer 5750 i7 with computer laptop 4 GB memory). but have had some unexplained cases of the dashboard suddenly closing.  The above title is explicit enough to completely describe the issue.   2. View later "Mode settings safe - all the add-ins ' server help/Safe Mode confirms that the integrated add-in is v6.1.8800.16399. (Snip available)
  3. Inspection of all categories of relevant event viewer shows no error/warning etc. near or at the time, or even the date of the failure.
  4. As the Windows updates are underway for both Server & Client, I can only deduce that it is a mistake in WHS 2011 or add-on integrated hospitality who received an automatic diagnosis, or an error in the detection mechanism.
  5. This behavior seems to occur when I switch to the WHS 2011 Home tab from another server or activity customer.
  6. Please Microsoft will investigate the matter and correct if necessary.

• Origin of the dashboard alarm

  Hi all

  I played with capacity of Foglight to monitor for specific events in the Windows event logs.  I have it working (I think!), but face a slight problem.

  I copied the OOTB EventLog rule and renamed it as the name Windows event log.  The OOTB EventLog rule has been disabled and the rule of the name of the Windows event log is enabled and customized.  Fires the rule very well, but in the dashboard of the alarms, the origin is displayed as simply EventLog - whenever we copied and renamed the rules in the past, the origin is defined correctly for the name of the actual rule, that is the name of file system capacity.

  As you can see, in the dashboard of the rule management, alarms are all recorded against the OOTB EventLog rule disabled rather than the name Windows event log rule enabled.  Is it possible to change this original?  The reason why it is important, is that we have operators who monitor the dashboard of the alarms and they have a filter set to 'name' - in the State, they would not see this alarm and would not therefore not take appropriate action.

  Either incidentally, we also have LogFilter rule, which seems to be very similar to EventLog, and its origin is displayed correctly in the dashboard of the alarms.

• 802.1 x intermediate switches

  As you watch the 802 configuration documentation. 1 x on the switches of the Cat series; There is a statement to the effect that some switches (2940 cat by CAT 3750) may be used as intermediaries. What this really means? What is the dashboard switch itself as the intermediary between the client and the authentication server? This means IF I use the 4506 cat, I can use intermediate between the 4506 and switch to the "pass-through" customer demand of 802. 1 x for the 4506? This means no doubt that intermediate switches can be used when the edge switch on their own?

  I guess from the documentation that no matter what the switch is used as the edge switch is the intermediary between the client and the authentication server.

  Any enlightenment will be appreciated.

  A: not necessarily. You can directly use Cat4500 as intermediary.

  A: no, you can use them as well as intermediate and edge.

  For 802. 1 x, intermediate devices can be Cat4000 series, Cat3550 Cat2950 or AP wireless. In other words, they are edge devices.

  The middleman here means that the device behaves like a proxy or 'intermediate' between the client device that asks for authentication of access (802.1 x) and the authentication server, for example the Cisco ACS server.

  Basically, what happened is, the switch will ask the client identification information (IE name of user and password), and then transmit the information to the ACS server. ACS server will check & verify the ID and will respond with the answer of SUCCESS or FAILURE to the switch. The switch will be in turn, grant or deny access to the client, based on the information/response.

• Logical switch without DLR

  If I choose not to deploy a DLR, but deploy logical switches, can I still make all routing on my physical routers?  Of course, this is not recommended, but is it possible?

  You would need something method to get traffic from the logical to the physical network switches.  Traffic on these switches logical in order to join the physical network to one of the two or three things:

  1. bridge the VXLAN with a VLAN (logical switch in distributed port group).  6.2 NSX, this requires a DLR.

  2. connect the logical switch to a service gateway to dashboard as the default gateway and the uplink of the service gateway to point to a group of ports based on the VLAN.

  3. I also believe that you can add a VTEP parameter based on the equipment, which will act as a bridge between the logical switch and a VLAN physics.

  Here's my business case.

  Y at - it an easy way to disassociate an analysis / dashboard / graph of the data source / sector of activity?

  I have an existing dashboard, with guests and PivotTable dynamic, executed on a data source Essbase. So far so good.

  Now, I need to dynamically change the content of my PivotTable, as well as the new data from a source of different data (an RDBMS like SQL Server for example) displayed in the same PivotTable.

  If it is clear enough, suppose that I have given weekly on sales by region and product lines.

  Actual data is stored in a model of schema-similar to a star of RDBMS, and the Budget figures are stored in an OLAP (Essbase) engine.

  I'm not trying to display two digits at the same time, so I don't think that the Union would do the trick.

  I just want to sort of/switch to toggle between data sources, move the duct by a prompt value / variable.

  Then put your extra field in a page, the position in a PivotTable, or filtered by a line of dashboard, or else...

• How to set up the generic dashboard for the specified virtual machines

  I have two question about "generic dashboard":

  1. I use the tag to classify certain virtual machines by role QA, DEV or PRD. If I select "Kind of resources", and then select all VM under a label, window "metrics selector" will be watch only "vCenter generated Operation Manager", it does not show metric VM. How can I see it?

  2. If I select the 'Resources' mode, then I'll be able to see the VM metrics on the window "metrics selector", but I must key in each VM name "Label to the area", it takes a lot of time if I have a lot of VM, is there no matter what symbol I can use to match this field with name column "resource"?

  Mode 'Resources like' or 'Resource', both ok for me, I want to just install a widget to display using the specified CPU VM real fast.

  You will see that vC generated Ops metric because you are looking at the tag, which is a resourcekind. This switch of resources is "not" a filter label, these are the actual resources. If you want to see all the virtual machines, select the resourcekind 'virtual machine '.

  Generic dashboard is rarely used to show - all - kinds of resources, it is generally used for static selection for specific purposes. If you want to display all types of a resource type and apply a tag filter, you can select a different widget to display this information.

  There is no symbols that can act as wildcards, as you suggest. When you are 'kind of resources' mode, you need not fill out a label for the box.

  Switch mode full-screen browser and if it isn't good enough then increase your screen resolution. Widgets are dynamic and redimensionneront first, but are fixed recesses.

• Java Script alert: MuseJSAssert: error calling the function switch: security error?

  I built a site of Muse and place a dashboard project animate the site. Here's the problem I have. When I saw in the browser through Muse all seem to work well. The problem is when I export to HTML. When I view the HTML file in Firefox, everything works fine. But when I discover the HTML in Chrome or Opera, I get the following error appears on the top of the browser: Java Script Alert: MuseJSAssert: error calling the function switch: security error: blocked a frame with original "null" access to a framework of cross-origin.

  Any ideas what is the cause? I noticed one thing, but if I click the button refresn the animation playback. The other thing I noticed, is that my full screen lide show is also affected by this error. He plays as the first image and the rest of the images are not displayed.

  Hey all!

  I finally found how to solve this problem! At only took about 3 hours!

  Therefore, to do with the iframe code muse did for the lively edge file.

  If we take things from the outset, if everyone includes:

  1 publish a 'edge Animate Deployment Package (.oam)' dashboard animate

  2. in muse, file > Place > {exported .oem)

  3. put the file where you want

  4 muse export as HTML (file > export as HTML)

  5. your browser will open and display the error message, as shown above

  6 locate the HTML files and find "index.hml", or the page that your file hosted dashboard is on

  7. open it in Notepad, or editing program code. I use Adobe Edge Code CC

  8 remove the text: class = "animationContainer an_invi" (press ctrl + f and type to find the line)

  

  9 be sure to save and then reopen the Web page!

  There was a bit of discussion on this topic already and I read all those, but I'm still lost as to whether I want to do is possible and how.   I need to have capability of IDS in my vmware environment and physical environment switching.

  1. that being said, I don't know where to put snort.

  2. I know that I can paste snort on a virtual machine and give it an interface to each vswitch that promiscuity has been traffic on these vswitches, but which is the best way to do it?

  3. how to get traffic physics switching down to a virtual machine?  Is it still possible?

  I'm on 3.5 and using Foundry switches if it matters.

  The other idea I have is to not worry about this and paste my ID in the physical environment, since all traffic inter - VLAN should through the firewall anyway that is on the physical environment of switching.  This protect me from knowing of vm - & gt; VM attacks however.

  What is everyone think about this?

  It's the kind where I was at.  The other problem I have is that I need to activate on the whole portgroup or vswitch promiscous.

  Only on the portgroup never the vSwitch.

  This means that any host in this portgroup can promiscoulsy listen on a map network within this portgroup, right?

  That's right, but now you must periodically check the portgroup to ensure that none of the United Nations that allowed VM is on the portgroup.

  There are a few web based ones. I would check snort.org... I used 'base', but is no longer directly use SNORT. It is integrated into my FWs now.

• Dynamics control switch in dash prompt (or invite all switching)

  I would like to know if it is possible to dynamically change the control to a column in a command prompt. I will allow users to switch between "Drop-down", "Edit box" and "multiple Sélection" control for a specific column in a command prompt.
  Is it possible, maybe with javascript?
  
  Another solution for my problem would be 3 different guests (each different control of a witch for column) and make visible or hidden. But how to hide or show the based on the choice of the user...

  Create a prompt that displays the options drop down menu, Multiselect, Editbox

  Dashboard change Goto

  Add five sections

  Section 1 - Add prompt choice - Dropdown, Multiselect, Editbox

  Section 2 - Add the prompt1
  Section 3 - Add the orders2
  Section 4 - Add the prompt3

  Section 5 - Add the three reports in there and hide the section.
  To hide the section Goto-> Section-> properties-> custom-> use custom css css styling option-> enter the code below

  Section 2 Add guided navigation-> to which mean Report1, defined to describe the return lines.

  I have 2 bi servers we backup for others
  can I take all the settings (groups - privileges-...), I am on the dashboard on server 1 to the dashboard on server 2?

  It is a Windows error, nothing to do with OBIEE. I suggest you to try using the Windows ntbackup program to make the copy of file by performing a backup and restore to a new location. Otherwise contact Microsoft support (or switch to Linux, I have never had any problems copying my catalog under Linux).

• Buzz of noise in the tempo switch

  My song has 4 different tempos. Every time that happens, occurs a humming noise. If I get all tracks FX behind it disappears. How can I keep the delay, but not the buzz?

  Use automation for on/off switch of the delays to and after each change of tempo.

  If that kills too late in the face of that time, and then introduce a Gain ahead of every delay, automate the Gain to cut admission to the delay when changing the tempo. Who will cut the whole track, however.
