  My library files are missing and there are under 'Name' \My Documents User\ has some directories, but they are mostly empty and not all there.  I don't know what happened, the computer crashed and they were gone and I restored it to the previous date, but no change.  The file 'Name' was a symbol of lock on it and I don't know how he got there - he removed, but did not return the folders and files.   When I run the restore software, he finds some files and says that they are not deleted.  I have several back previous ups of most of the files, but just did a lot of purge and reorganization and to restore the folders and files in the same structure and place.   Click on the Start button in the taskbar and click on your username at the top.

Missing images are not on my computer, but when the document opens the images are there. I can copy and paste the INDD images in Illustrator. Y files/images/I am able to copy and paste the images that have been incorporated into the INDD file in AI of the INDD file? If this is not what type of image am I copy and paste? Can I take the images that I stuck in there and place them in a new INDD document and have the images to reproduce without problems?

  The images could be anything - check the links Panel.

  What you see (and copy) is just the screen preview, not the actual image data.

• A few photos from my iPhone and iCloud are missing from the Photos on my Mac.

  I have connected my iPhone 6 to my Mac today to back up as well as importing photos to the Photos app. Most recent photos have been imported to the Photos app, but more of a period of 3 days (taken last week) did not appear. Missing photos are always available in my iPhone "all the Photos" album as well as in iCloud. I tried to disconnect and reconnect the iPhone several times, but no luck. I also took a new picture and plugged the iPhone in, and she who imported automatically.

  I have OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 version and my iOS is 9.3.1.

  My photo stream and iCloud, photo sharing are turned on and my computer with iCloud drive is on, on my phone.

  Are there steps I can take to try to re - import the missing photos? Any thoughts on what is causing this problem?

  If the normal import process fails - get an account on OneDrive, Photos of Google or Upthere.com

  You can download the images to the cloud via the phone services and download them to the computer

  Or you can turn on iCloud photo library and use the synchronization feature to display the images in iCloud photo library on the computer

• Using a Mac OSX 10.8.1 and HP Photosmart C4680

  I have a Mac OSX version 10.8.1. I can't print with my HP photosmart c4680, even though I have uinstalled and reinstalled the software several times. I tried to turn on and off the printer sharing, and nothing works. I had to print once, until I unplugged it from my computer. When I tried to use it again, it did not work.

  Should I go and buy a new printer? It is only 2 years old, but I'm frustrated non-compliance.

  How long the used USB cable?

  Please ensure that it is not longer than 2 - 3 m long.

  As ewll make sure that it is directly connected to the Mac and not via a USB hub or extention.

  If you have an iMac, make sure that the cable connected to the back of the MAc and not not the Apple keyboard ports that are not powered.

  Then I would try to replace the USB cable, it seems more likely a problem with IPC communication system.

  I use CP 6.1 on Mac OS 10.8.3. When I publish my course and examine the published file, some BUT NOT ALL my images seem to be missing and are replaced by a red frame. Happening whenever I publish, but enough that it is a common problem. When I open the same file of CP to the computer of a colleague (also using CP 6.1) and publish, the error does NOT occur, and all images appear as expected. What is happening with my version of CP? Everyone knows a similar problem?

  Try to check the button "Force republish" in the setting of publish screen. Sometimes, it works for me!

  I'm about to get PHP up and running (we hope) on my Mac where I just installed 10.6, and I've been using David Powers recommended road Liyanage Entrophy PHP, but I've read here that some people are having problems with layout marks normally excellent installing and running on 10.6.

  Has anyone here used Entrophy download on 10.6 and managed to make it work?

  I ask this BEFORE I go ahead and try that for my part, as in the past I've managed to completely ruin a perfectly good Mac OSX system and it was causing me all kinds of headaches and pain.

• Help! I've updated to 12 of Firefox (Mac OSX 10.7.3) and everything went wrong.

  My Fast Dial add-on is disabled and will not reinstall or run as before.

  When I leave Firefox my tabs will not restore when I reopen it Firefox.

  The bookmarks toolbar disappeared and custom ' reappear however much I click on view > toolbars > personal bar.

  There are other issues. It's too depressing.

  It is possible that there is a problem with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox profile folder.

  Delete the sessionstore.js file possible sessionstore-# .js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox profile folder.

  • Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: opens showing the file

  Delete sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and tab groups and opened and closed the tabs (back) to get lost, so you will need to create them again (take note or bookmarks).

  Make sure the toolbars like the toolbar 'Navigation' and the 'personal bar' are visible: "view > toolbars".

  • Open the Customize via "view > toolbars > customize.
  • Make sure the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" are on the personal bar
  • If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the bookmarks toolbar, then FRY it in the toolbar palette in the window the bookmarks toolbar Customize
  • If the missing elements are in the toolbar palette then drag them from the window, customize the toolbar
  • If you do not see an item on a toolbar in the toolbar palette and then click the button "Restore default" to restore the default toolbar set up
