recurring task begins not recurring job question

I have a job were the p10 step is repeated every 15 minutes. I have a p20, which is set to run at 11:45. It is configured to check completed normally on the final appearance of the P10. I have a P30 powered 01:45 which also checks completed normally on the final appearance of the p10.  My question is P20, 30 can run up to P10 is done. I can't put a dependency to check <> active and normally completed.

Print function:

P10 provides latest data for P20 & report of person in charge for the time of the p30.

Suggestions?

Version 6.2.1.236

Hi hrechek4470,

So you're on the right track. OK to save the current configuration of the same. But here, we add a dependency variable instead.

Step 1. Create and initialize the variable to false, IE, P10_Ready: = False

Step 2 Create variable action to set P10_Ready: = True

Step 3 Create variable action to set P10_Ready: = False

Step 4.  Create an event of work when work ends normally, call the variable action to P10_Ready the value True (step 2)

Step 5 Create a work event when the job is active, call variable action to give P10_Ready to False (step 3)

Step 6 Add a variable dependency when P10_Ready = true for jobs both P20 and P30

The Derrick

I get the message that Scheduler tasks not preformed tasks does not

You have can not be programmed tasks, but one or several applications that you have installed probably made (without bothering to tell you).  Google is a likely culprit, but certainly not the only one.

Most of these tasks are "phone home" search for updates of applications.  If you ask me, you're better off with tasks not running - but I'm sure that you don't like the error message at every startup.

Rather than starting at the end with the section of the "Troubleshooting" section, begins to run and find out what's on demand - so you can decide whether you care or not that it is not performed.

Click Start > Accessories > system tools > scheduled tasks

The window tasks planned opens and you can see the list of tasks.  If you want the tasks to be performed, but they are not, then follow «troubleshooting» article  If you don't want the task to run, do a right click and 'delete '.

Or, if you do not want to risk to delete something you don't know, but don't want the error of "missed tasks", right-click on a task, select properties and then uncheck the box in the tab 'Task' that says 'Enabled '.  This will give time to what the job is all about and why he could not be executed but will prevent the message "some tasks have been missed" to come whenever you start the search.

  • Task Scheduler tasks do not work after a reboot

In windows 7 I used to have the error that other people get to the Task Scheduler that the task no longer exists. In any case, I have no more errors since the question based on advice on this forum to delete each task which does not exist in the Task Manager, but exists in the attachment folder. If the error that the task no longer exists does not.

The problem is now task will run once, after that reboot a pc they rerun the habit. He said that the task is scheduled to run at 08:00 on Wednesdays of each week. But after that I restarted my pc it does not work yet. The next section begins to show nothing then.

The task in services.msc schedule is set to automatic. I should also mention that the service does not seem to me to change if its auto, manual, other services. I believe that I am the admin, I am the only user of this computer, no accounts are put in place, its just me, and I never had problems with the admin.

Forecasts of the tasks are not that difficult, after I corrected the error, I hoped that would be the end, but no, forecasts of the tasks still does not work, something so fundamental should not cause many headaches.

Well looks like I found my answer, microsoft does not task scheduler does not work after restarting.

Here is the original thread, I made mentioned, dealing with my first issue with Task Scheduler showing an error indicating that the tasks no longer exist. This thread has solved the problem that I no longer receive the error that the task no longer exists, but close to the last post on the thread below, someone explains the problem that I have now with the pc, not to remember to perform next time.

This thread below will fill you in on everything I mention since Task Scheduler, defragment break Task Scheduler.

And as one person on the States of thread at the end

"Sorry, Joseph... but it is not the answer." Oh, Yes... you can recreate the tasks that are causing the problem (in my case, something like 25... Count em... 25. created by the system of tasks in Microsoft files). Everything seems fine. Restart now. BLAMMO. You're right back where you started.

  • Scheduled task does not play if already open WMP, trying to avoid manual close

I'm in a work centre that will make announcements every day on a speaker system that is run by windows media player. I set up a scheduled task to all files that will play, but once the said file is played WMP does not close automatically. This does not seem like a problem, but if nobody closes on WMP, the next scheduled task will not - play which completely defeated the purpose to automate the process and our workers will have to still remember to close WMP 3 or 4 times a day, otherwise nobody gets the announcement.

I have tried implementing a command line with /play wmplayer start/close c:myfile.wav as an executable file and run it with the Task Scheduler instead of the wav file... it did not work. Namely, the /close function was abandoned with WMP.

Is it possible that I can continue to use WMP and completely automate this process without the manual close WMP after each scheduled task?

  • Scheduler of tasks is not planning the next task

I have a task configured to run automatically at 5:15 a day, he runs a small program that checks a FTP site for new files.  I have this running on other computers, there is only one who behaves in a strange way, I need to solve.

He works for a day, maybe 2 and then he is not planning the next run time, so he spent several days without checking and only works if I run it manually and plan its new.  Turned on, value run as if scheduled asap is missed, running under the administrator account, with the highest privileges, the operation completes successfully, but it runs the next day morning, then maybe two mornings and stop the calendar itself.  This particular task last ran on 8/28.  Other computers are configured in this exact way but it's the only one who made it.  It's a fairly new computer, OptiPlex 3020 in production since 5/2014, but this behavior has been fairly constant since the beginning.

    * Add * the only other weird thing that happens is that I start Task Scheduler, I see an error that says:

The scheduled task "(0)" no longer exists.  To see the common tasks, click Refresh.

This happens every time, there are only 2 tasks and click Refresh all to appear the error once again both are still there.

For any help or suggestion would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

  • What on Earth is interactive email? Forum does not answer the question

What on Earth is interactive email? Forum does not answer the question

'Interactive email' is basically including * everything * in the email itself.  So instead of an e-mail that says: "Buy your ticket concert on our web page" with a link to the web page - you can actually enter information * in the email * and click on submit and it of as if you go to their web page and did.

It looks like a horrible idea for me.  I would like it compared to the difference between the junk mail in your physical mailbox compared to someone who comes to your door with the same sales pitch that would have been on the junk e-mail.  It will probably cause more problems than it should be, IMO.

It was a mistake to boot! An event of default would erase the name of task... it's the same for another sub - VI for other tasks so I'm not that. But it works now that I've totally simplified the Subvi. Two other people have worked on it in front of me (newbees) so I have a lot of cleaning up to do.

Thanks for all the answers and sorry it was something so simple. It took me a while to get back into the swing of debugging stuff RT.

    Hi dgxp64,

    ·         The computer is on a domain network?

Method 1: Temporarily disable the antivirus on the computer program and check if it helps. If it works, you may need to check the settings of the program.

Note: Check that you activate your anti-virus protection on the computer back after you complete these steps. It is not recommended to disable these settings on the computer. It's just to solve the problem.

    Task of 0500

    0530 task

    Task of 0600

    0630 task

You can address the issue in two steps:

    Compare task definitions 1

1.1 use the export feature on the right side of the window Scheduler of tasks to export each of the task definitions.

1.2 each of the definitions of exported tasks will be an xml file, each of them [they open in IE] open then select all text & paste it in Excel, with only one task in the first column, the next task in the next column,... until you have them all.

1.3 using Excel, simply because it's a convenient way to see tasks-by-side, look at each line to see what the differences are there between them other than the time set for them.

1.4 use the results to eliminate all unwanted differences that exist.
