  ATT not quite answered you completely. Indeed, there is no method to contact you BB directly, however... only through formal escalation of a carrier can talk you (for free) to BB directly. It's him formal support how works and ATT have responded you more completely that they did.

  I installed Vlingo while it was offered by Blackberry for free.   BlackBerry Desktop Manager is actually called Black Berry Desktop Software. I think App World is a required application and it is grayed out in the list of applications, you can add or remove.   Not sure if it's the same on yours, but on mine (Outlook 2007), I put pins in 'Field user 1' (accessed via the button "All domains", Misc 'Select From' Fields). Enter this field allows them to roll on my BB to the right place.

  FYI - the way that I discovered it was to enter a PIN on the BB and then let that reproduce in Outlook... then I dug around all fields until I found where he wound up. You may need to do this if one of your conditions do not exactly match mine (for example, Outlook 2007, BES).
