My BB Bold 9000 PIN blackBerry Smartphones is blocked?

I recently bought a BlackBerry Bold 9000 with PIN (edit personal info). The
BlackBerry 9000 was bought in Dubai and has like IMEI
(edit your personal information).

For almost 2 years, I have used BlackBerry BES on two other
Blackberries (initially a 8100, then a 8110) one 8110, BES and other functions, voice and text, are workingwithout any vulnerability on this issue and the previous equipment as well.

I tried the following:

After the purchase, I did a computer Pocket wipe and tried to activate BES via the
Director of office of EDGE rest in small
letters. I chose 2g only to rule out problems with a 3G connection. Activation of BES wireless was impossible and a wired connection of BES does not either.

I then did a rest to factory settings. However, EDGE remains in small
letters. A Downgrade to BASIC device OS 4.6.0.242 made no difference.

After the downgrade, wipe, I sent service books every time but they never
arrive at destination. The technical service of my carrier have done the same. In
BlackBerry Accounts Manager, the handset I used for some time,
BB8110, remains registered for my BES account. They have also removed my
Profile of BES and made a new, but no change occurred. Switching device
in the Desktop Manager has worked but no change in the EDGE network.

With a test of the SIM only BIS activated on it makes no
difference on board is in lowercase letters. As with the previous test, only the voice
and the work of text. A Wi - Fi connection also works without problem. A SIM card from another Belgian
Proximus provider showed no change.

This handset provider ID is Vendor ID:. 179. Platform 400155 as such, I have
impossible, unfortunately, to contact the original vendor.

As I bought the handset on eBay and the seller refuses the guarantee, for
who I am filing a complaint with the Belgian police and e - bay.

I think the power to fake so what can I do now?

Apparently, they can't. In any case, the PIN seems to be disabled so the HS can be used for voice and text and internet via WiFi. I put on sale again and made my lesson to never buy anything on E - Bay.

Thanks for the help switft!

  • Change of PIN ASSET in the redirector again combined PIN blackBerry Smartphones how

I recently installed Desktop Manager 4.7 for my new 9000 "BOLD".  I can sync everything except the e-mail in Outlook 2003 (SP3).  Redirector comes up with my previous curve handset PIN.  When I run the Desktop Manager application, it recognizes and asks if he should change the active device to device.  I click Yes but nothing happens.  Where can I change the pin of the device 'ACTIVE '?

I can't get redirector to work becvause I can't change the PIN code.

I had the same problem. I googled: "blackberry redirector change pin code" and found many people with the same problem. Software not only sloppy, I am amazed to see no response from anyone to BB on this forum.

    Here's what worked for me:

1 uninstalled the Blackberry Desktop software.

    2 restarted.

3 reinstalled new version (4.7) of Blackberry desktop software.

    4 restarted.

5 connected my phone via USB. This time, he turned off the PIN.

If the above does not work, you can just remove all branches of the registry with the Blackberry Research in Motion... you're on your own if you do this. A simpler solution is to create a new connection on the Windows System...

  • BIS blackBerry Smartphones has blocked my PIN - no data through the

I was with AT & T tent technical support to solve this problem last night.  It became impossible for the BIS-B to send all the data on my device.  I have already completely wiped out my "BOLD" with a reset, re-entered the unit, tried to return the service directories and had even AT & T erase and rebuild my BIS account.

Symptoms: When I try to send it to my email service BIS service books, they never come out.

Always mobile network diagnostics fail the test of PIN - PIN

Mobile Internet browsing works, but any application that uses BIS-B to transfer data never gets it.  My twitter app gives me a "network error", my weather app says 'update error' and google maps is constantly trying to load maps without success.

This happened all of a sudden yesterday.  It seems that the BIS has just completely shunned my device.  I plan to go into a store warranty AT & T later today to share devices and rebuild my account and data with a new PIN.

OK, the AT & T rep "I removed from the blackberry network" and I reconnected.  This seems to have solved the problem.  I get sent again, I received the service books I sent earlier and diagnosis shows a 'yes' next to PIN - PIN.

Looks like I'm back in business.  Thanks for the help!

  • My BlackBerry Bold 9900 questions blackBerry smartphones! Bluetooth, clock, battery, security

I just bought my BB Bold 9900 last Friday (January 6) and my provider is MTS. I have problems with my phone.

But first, let me say that I am a TIME BlackBerry user FIRST and I could do something wrong or I didn't have the correct settings. But I'd appreciate any help!

First, the battery life is much too short! After the initial charge (charged from one day to the next), the battery did not last me until noon the next day. I pay it full once I got home, and then I noticed that the battery life was longer now. I guess that it would improve after a little cooler. I think that the battery needed a kind of start-ups before it becomes fully functional. In any case, this problem seems to be resolved, for now.

Second, my phone has problems with the security lock code / password. I have install a locking password to prevent someone from simply to check the contents of my phone. It's OK at first, but after a while, the phone seems to be "forget" to ask for my password. I just press the lock/release button and I have access to my home page without entering the password. I kept checking security settings to see if the password is "on", it is. For me, it's a major security problem!

Thirdly, the zone time/clock settings seems to be incorrect. I'm from Winnipeg, MB, Canada and I use Central time, but the time that the phone is displaying is incorrect. Like the weather here in Winnipeg is 10:00, but in the phone, it's 04:00! Even if I fixed my phone and set up the time manually, the time that appears on my emails is always incorrect and inaccurate. And I couldn't find my clock anywhere icon. I looked in the applications folder, and it isn't here!

Finally (I hope this is the last problem with my phone), I have problems of bluetooth. I tried to send a picture from my Mac to my BB via bluetooth, and it worked fine. But when I tried to send a picture that I took the camera from my BB to my Mac, it wouldn't send! I checked the blutooth connection many times (Mac to BB, BB to Mac, they are fine) I have and found that the settings are correct and devices are discoverable and connected, so I don't really know what to do. This phone is really frustrating.

I have an urgent plan to unlock my phone for use on a different network, but I can't do it now because of these problems. I really want to have a Blackberry (before I bought and did not yet know the problems) I want a RELIABLE PHONE, rather than choosing an iPhone which for me is a TOY. But I am really disappointed with this phone. I begin to fear that this would be as reliable as I expected it would be, and he'd let me down just when I needed it most!

I'd appreciate it really all the help I could get and tips for the first time BB users. Thank you!

My phone works OK now. I guess I could remedy all by myself! What a relief.

  • BlackBerry BOLD 9900 Protect blackBerry Smartphones

Had the phone for three weeks and was able to set up the backup on the phone every day, but yesterday, I had a problem of OS and Blackberry Protect software and had to reload all the software, however I wanted to restore to protect but didn't Protect Blackberry App World now on my phone! Does anyone have any ideas?

Must admit not impressed by the Bold 9900!

I don't know where it happened, but you can get that back using BlackBerry Desktop Software. Connect your phone to your PC, open BBDS and click Applications in the left column of the software. Click on the "+" plus sign next to add, and then click on apply at the bottom of the software.

Let us know if that helps you.

  • Switching PIN blackBerry smartphones

I just bought my phone of a person. The phone doesn't let me configure email because the PIN is already associated with someone else. If this person is not using the phone more, is there a way to remove their e-mail address of the PIN?

Yes, this person or you must call the previous carrier and have the PIN released from this account. Tell them you bought it used.

If you call, be nice, that they don't have to do it for you.

    OK... in this case...

REMOVE THE BATTERY FROM YOUR BB NOW!

Run, don't walk, to this FAQ:

Do everything it says, including the maximum recommended... maybe wait time even up to 5 days.

Marketing your BB between her getting wet and do this process reduces the chances of success. In addition, the only predictable thing in the intrusion of moisture in a BB (indeed, any electronic device) is that the results will be unpredictable. I've seen some return immediately and be well. I have seen that others do not work. I've seen more a little run and then die later. And every thing in between.

    Good luck!

  • Issue of 9000 screen blackBerry Smartphones Blod

I come to my new BB "BOLD" yesterday. I noticed that when I unplug the charger and put slight pressure on the side of the phone image waves. The image also waves when pressure is put on the screen itself, and when you put any pressure on the other side of the phone. I was just wondering if this is happing with someone from another phone. I could not find any information on this. Other than that the screen looks amazing, and it is very probably the best phone screen I've ever seen. If this is not normal so fine I can still Exchange it. Thanks for any information that is provided.

Ripples mine if I tighten it enough fort on the sides to the front of my phone next to the screen, or if I press on the screen.  I've had my "BOLD" for about three months now without problem...

  • BB Bold 9900 browser blackBerry smartphones

    Many people,

Just got my new BB Bold 9900. When I try and close the web browser, it does not close completely.

I press the BB button (next to compose on the keyboard), scroll to the bottom and click Close. However when I hold in this BB button to view open applications, the icon of the browser is still there.

Is this normal? Must the browser application always run in the background?

Just curious snack that's draining the battery life.

    See you soon.

    You're close it properly.

Closed browser is not drain the battery. A left pending in the context of an active Web site it will deplete quickly.

There are about 5 apps which always run in the background... browser, BBM, phone, home screen and Messages.

  • Calls from my Blackberry "BOLD" blackBerry Smartphones are blocked and asks me to enter my 10 digit number

Whenever I try to call a number (LAN LINE) that has a block on unidentified callers, I get the message "the number you are calling does not accept unidentified calls... Please enter your 10-digit phone number"

The funny thing is that this problem has just started to happen.  A week ago, it was fine.  When I call a number that is not blocked, my number happens correctly on the caller ID but shows as not identified.  Sometimes, it comes under the name international.

Now, the funny is that if I put my SIM card in my Pearl, I can make calls without problem.

There are two settings on the "BOLD" under General options.  One is called 'restrict my identity"in this case, I have it set to NEVER.  I also tried NETWORK DETERMINED, but none of them make a difference.  The other setting is called 'Show My Number' and this is set to YES.

I talked to AT & T until I'm blue in the face.  They say that it is a problem with the phone and must be replaced.  I can hardly believe that.  I have a friend with the same phone and it has the same problem.

I saw a few discussions about this before in other forums, but never didn't see a solution to this problem.

It would be great to find a solution.  Oh and by the way.  Already tried to do a reset factory and a wipe of security on the phone.  No go.

This problem has now been fixed.  Calls always show from abroad, but they are blocked is no longer.
