  Firefox Sync isn't supposed to be a back up, I apologize if the bookmarks are not sync, you have a return upwards from before is erased?

  Check also:

  1. Search in the unsorted bookmarks. Is any other thing from your old profile synchronization? (e.g., history)
  2. Have never sync you your bookmarks. See if the box is checked in the preferences.

  Bookmarks may appear to be lost when there is a problem with the file that contains the bookmarks in this case it's the file places.sqlite.

  You can check the database places.sqlite with this extension file.

  If that didn't help then try to delete the spaces in the Firefox profile folder and who understand that it's possible temporary files to SQLite as places.sqlite - shm and places.sqlite - wal besieds the places.sqlite file.

  Delete all places.sqlite files in the Firefox profile folder to rebuild the database since the last backup JSON places.sqlite (bookmarks-#-#-# _xxxx_$ $.jsonlz4) in the folder bookmarkbackups of Firefox.

  If this does not work so that you can restore bookmarks from a compressed backup of .jsonlz4 in the folder bookmarkbackups.
  The xxxx in the ' bookmarks-#-#-# _xxxx_$ $.jsonlz4 ' name indicates the total number of bookmarks (records and included separators) stored in the file.

• I lost my favorite game, Solitaire.

  I lost my favorite game, Solitaire.  I did the suggested MS site, put in my Windows XP CD, went into Control Panel - Add and remove programs - Windows components - games - verified and installed (more than once!), but it is not yet to find anywhere.  I even searched it on the MS site for a download and no luck.  I have Spider solitaire but I prefer the classic game.  Help someone?  I also tried the system recovery.

  C:\Windows\System32\
  --> Here you will find "sol.exe" (other games have other names)
  If you have found it, you just need to make a shortcut from startmenu, which isn't a big deal.

  Or:
  Start--> Run--> type in "sol.exe" (without the quotes, of course)

• Added the new computer but lost all favorite settings on old. I need new account keep different settings on both?

  My laptop (i5, running Win 7) is my workhorse computer that had all my favorite settings stored. I added a new office (AMD, Win 8.1) that will be used as a multimedia entertainment unit, but when I connected the cable to install FireFox it replaced all the settings in my laptop with the new computer. How can I keep the different settings on each computer? Must have 2 different accounts to be able to do this? I have now lost the web address for some of my sites, so it's quite painful. The "recently marked with a bookmark" folder is the main problem, because it is where I was monitoring my sites.
  Computer LAPTOP is Acer Aspire i5 & Win 7 runs the modules listed below.
  DESKTOP is a Medion with an AMD 3.8 GHz Turbo & Win 8.1, with the new version of the FF browser.
  Auto Firefox installed the same modules as the laptop, but I will change those & don't want to FF to automatically install the same on both computers. How can I separate them?

  You can only select favorite and maybe passwordsand uncheck other options of data type.

  Make sure the computer with bookmarks to work is attached to the account and sync before adding a new.

  Sync isn't supposed to be a backup, but a way to sync devices and their current settings.

  If either the old machine has access to the current profile backup and restore Firefox profiles information will guide you through how to get back them.

  Problems with bookmarks and history does not properly can be caused by a corrupted database places.sqlite file.

  You can check for problems with the database places.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder.

  Tonight, I did one thing: add my Tablet Android browser to synchronize.

  If there are problems with bookmarks and you've lost a little so you can try to restore an older copy of JSON in the bookmarkbackups folder.

  If you've accidentally deleted bookmarks, then use "organize > Cancel ' in the Bookmark Manager (Bookmarks > show all bookmarks) to recover.

  That only works if you have not closed Firefox.

  My favoriteshave was lost. When I sigen in windows, I got a password to be entered, the system application is no longer a password. I lost some of my icons on the home page too. I think I have answered Yes to remove unused icons. I didn't do that. I tried to restone my system to a date in July as the 15th and the windows restore request woud not allow me to go on this date.   I'm having a little difficulty to understand your terminology.  I'm not sure what you're referring to "My favourites"... is your Internet Explorer Favorites?  Also I guess by "Restoring Windows Application", you are referring to "System Restore".  If there are no backups going back to July, then this will not be able to help.

  Your symptoms may point to a corrupted profile.  If this is the case, then all the files you placed on the desktop seems to disappear, as well as the documents you store in 'My Documents'.  Other users of your system would be unaffected.  If this turns out to be your problem, try one of the following methods to recover.

• Firefox android syncs all except Favorites

  Firefox on android 4.0.3 continued history, tabs and passwords synchronization, but he stopped some time ago to sync bookmarks. Today, I created a new profile and a new account with a dozen of bookmarks for the tests. They easily synchronize on ten PC with Firefox 36.0.1.

  Other browsers on android, like chrome and opera, continue the timing well.

  Today, only one account is taken from synchronization.

  What I tried before:
  'clear' in device - settings - applications - firefox,
  disable the fix Droidwall and Exynos-abuse,
  Uncheck sync preferably to bookmarks on android,
  reboot, re-enable the preference of synchronization of bookmarks.
  In addition, some involuntary crashes the device.

  Now, droidwall and the patch are again operational, but again the timing is ok.
  So no guilty factor is obvious. Maybe the synchronization server saw maintenance...
