• Synchronization of files on my hard drive

  I use Dropbox.com for synchronize folders of data on three different computers.  Microsoft Office makes this is very effective because we can prescribe to Word or Excel where to look for/save files.  So I can place my Word files folder in the Dropbox folder on each computer.  There no copy of the file/folder in the Dropbox folder to another location on the hard drive.

  All programs are not as effective.  Accounting programs that I run expect to find data files relevant to a specific folder under the Program Files/software title, for example.  Therefore, I can sync these files if I copy the data folder of its location of Program Files in a folder (same name), in the Dropbox folder.  What I would like to be able to do is to make changes in the data through their relevant software folders in their location of Program Files, and these changes are automatically reflected in the files of the same name in the Dropbox folder.

  I use Windows Vista Home Premium.  I read on the synchronization to the title of the help, but it appears not to address problems of synchronization on the same drive hard (unless I read wrong).

  I'm looking in the creation of a workflow using CC that would be entrepreneurs to store all their files by using the synchronization system 'Creative Cloud Files. They would do all their work in the box file CC, whereas we would have instant access to everything they have created. We could then review the files if necessary and are also available for backup.

  The plan is to give these entrepreneurs remote access to the CC software on an "as needed" basis. Thus, they would be able to install or use the software when working on our projects. I'm not quite clear on how this works, but I guess they can be allocated a seat if necessary via the team plan or company CC?

  If it is possible, what happens to their files synchronized if/when they don't have a CC valid license/connection on their computer? Still have access? Are they deleted? The assumption is that the files would be shared with our team, so we theoretically would already have them on our computers. On a side note, if the contractor removes these files, would they still be archived somewhere?

  Any info on this would be appreciated. It would be nice to have all this loose CC, but the alternative would be to use Dropbox, which would not be dependent on a current CC license.

  All files have an owner, the person who uploaded the files. There are two ways to share files: Collaboration and send the link.

  The collaboration is based folder. Everyone has agreed that the invitation has read and write access to the folder. The owner of the folder can archive the folder which will stop the Collaboration for everyone, while the owners not can individually choose folder leave.   I recorded my own music on several cd (using a computer with XP). I took these CDs and I snatched a few pieces in Win Media Player (on a more recent with Win 7 laptop) so I could do a "best of" disc type. I made 2 of them before.   You cannot, if it is, the security protection would be worthless.  It would be like cracking after a password.  It's a shame, I know, but you will need to copy the files again without any protection applied.

  I have a desktop HP Pavilion P6540F under Windows 7 Home Premium. A few days ago there was a problem with windows that virtually wiped out my OS and I had to restore my computer to factory settings. Before restoring my computer I backed up all my files on a disk. After Reinstalling windows, I placed the drive with all my files recovery on it in my computer and running the recovery .exe file that has started downloading my files. All of this worked perfectly well but the problem is that these files only stored in a file on my desktop and has not been restored to its original location. Is it possible to get these files to restore to the correct locations on my computer without having to manually, drag the files to their old location? Honestly, I don't know where many of these files were located before the restoration and many items such as preferences for certain programs are impossible for me to move. Thanks for the help.

  The backup that is used to recover only restores the files in a folder, leaving the owner to move. I agree, not the application of backup more useful, but better than nothing I guess.

  Yes, you can.

  You can either use the simple method of drag - move or the right click move optionfrom context menu.

  Method of drag - move will have a copy of the music even external drive and one copy in your personal folder.
  Move To method will be "moving" the music file from the drive of the post to your personal folder. No duplicate.

  If you do not have CopyTo and Move To options in your right click context menu, use this tutorial:

  I have problems with the synchronization of files up to the cloud. In the desktop application it is written "all files updated", but in the folder, none of the files have green ticks. Research on the web app, it seems that the files are not updated.

  I'm sorry that you get at least a perfect experience and feel us your pain.  There is something, you can try:

  1. Make a backup of your file to create Cloud Files to another location on your desktop
  2. In the activity stop monitor the following processes:
     1. Creative cloud
     2. Service Office of Adobe
     3. CCLibrary
     4. CoreSync
  3. In terminal, navigate as follows: cd ~/Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/CoreSync
  4. Delete the following files:
     1. .DB
     2. .DB - shm
     3. .DB - wal
  5. Restart the creative cloud

  We are in the middle of a production of big book of 250 pages and files are not in the CC Panel.

  I deleted the content of OOBE and downloaded the latest CC app on my iMac.

  Problem just started yesterday. (I think)

  I found a solution to my problem of synchronization in the iMac

  In the Library/Preferences/com.adobe.accmac.plist, rename or delete this file.

  I got an instant response and synchronization of files and fonts works. But there is no checkmark in the synchronized files folder, but I can live with that.
