Synchronization of the Smartphones BB 8830 WE blackBerry problem

Hello

I'm having a problem with my BB 8830 World edition.  Recently I started having a problem with the sync.  It starts to synchronize each time, it stops on the same element in the calendar and gives me this message:

BlackBerry Desktop Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Any ideas on how to get rid of this problem and resume the synchronization would be appreciated.

Thank you

A. Chahine

Hello

Looks like there is a corrupted calendar item the cause. Maybe Advanced Logging helps you to identify the guilty folder:

Good luck!

  • Update of the Smartphones 9720 O2 UK blackBerry group 2994 not in DTM?

    Hi all

    I have a 9720 with OS 7.1.0.1083 (Platform 9.105.0.18) bundle 2910.

Under software updates icon, it tells me there is an update available, bundle 2994, for O2 customers (which I am) to improve the battery life (which is currently only about one day max with a very light use).

When I try to update on the phone, he fails to download always and said to do on DTM.

The problem is that when I try to update on DTM, he says there is no update available

The phone itself knows nothing, and I know online nerd 2994 search really is the last BONE of O2 for the 9720.

And I really need so he can improve the lives of the shocking battery (Yes was a new battery sealed with the phone closed.

Someone tell why his watch not the update on NCDS, and how can I get it?

    Thank you very much

Well unfortunately no advice or support has been next-, but I solved it, so stick to the benefit of others having this problem

Many thanks to overthedge on Blackberryos for the info it stuck, to the origin of John Clark of Blackberry forums, who saved the day!

Following my post above, with links to downloads of OS for your carrier, they fail to speak of 2 main things to their instructions, and it is to delete the vendor.xml file.

    > The steps are NORMALLY:
    1. download and install Desktop Manager (if you do not - if make sure that it is done (closed) before the next step).
    2. download and install the OS of your choice for your device. (see my ealrier posts for links to downloads of operator OS BB).
    3. delete vendor.xml located in c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader.
    4. plug in the BB and open the Desktop Manager.

Step 3 is basic - I found this file in the Programsx86 folder, if (running 64-bit win7), "programs" folder - check them both.

BUT the problem is: >... When you open the Desktop Manager, you get no prompt to update, you're supposed to. When you open the Application Loader your new operating system is not listed!

That's exactly what I faced, as stated in my previous post, it was not right there, no update is available, even if I had just downloaded - exactly the same thing that happened at the beginning (until I find the download page of the OS from my operator even).

    > The problem is the new automatic Office Manager ' Check for Updates '. This feature uses your internet connection to search for OS updates for your device from your carrier. When it loads a second virtual vendor.xml file in the temporary folder on your computer.
    > So, even after you remove the normal which is installed with the operating system and Office Manager, auto "check for updates" charge one another based on the brand of the device you've got plugged into the PC.

    Therefore, the two delete Vendor.xml.

In addition to the location of the file in step 3 above, I found my temp as below, as well as a ghost of bit 0 provider/xml file:
    >: \Users\\AppData\Roaming\Research Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

Delete the file vendor.xml here and in the common folder (step 3). DTM for not having the updates auto value (for this process)
Then when I restarted the DTM and connected my phone, then automatically found and advised me of the update ready (previously downloaded and installed on the PC) and I could click to update as usual.

    Perfect.

States of the article on changing the DTM settings through Control Panel, or reinstallation of DTM. But I have this bit and it worked-I simply uncheck automatic updates in DTM, delete the 2 files started vendor.xml DTM, plugged the phone, told me I had a new update!

    Hope this helps

  • Smartphone App World for blackBerry problem

    Hello everyone,

I'm new here and I have a problem with my Blackberry Torch 9800. Everytime I try to upgrade an application, not the elements including one, he always tells me: 'there was a problem installing (the name of the application). Please try again later. ».

Please someone help me because I'm going crazy!

    Real fo FML

Ahhh... now I think we are discovering more evidence of an underlying problem. Maybe OS corruption, maybe other things.

    Gosso07 wrote:

OK... you have all the links for the procedures you recommend me?

Well Yes... and they will not be the same things to try concerning the problem of the AW, but also the new problem. The first thing to do, however, is to ensure that you get a good backup and full... you can find instructions for that in the link in my sig auto on this post.

I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

If the behavior persists, then proceed.

The next thing to try is the device WIPE:

    • KB14058 How to delete all data and applications in the smartphone BlackBerry using the security option wipe

Otherwise, the reload operating system follow steps.

At the top of each forum device, there should be some 'sticky' threads dealing with the level of the OS available for many models. If they understand your model, please use those as a reference as you go along. Otherwise, you will have to dig through the download portal official for packages of OS for your model:

From a PC, you can install any compatible OS package (for example, for your BB model exact number) of a BB via this procedure:

Note Although written to "recharge" and the storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade or recharge any BB device model - depends on the operating system package you download and install on your PC. If this OS package comes from one carrier other carrier for which your BB was built, then remove, on your PC, all copies of the SELLER. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

Don't forget that you remove, since your PC, any other BB OS devices as packages with more than one installed on the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.

You can also study the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe what he is capable.

You can also try this procedure might limit the specific causal element:

    1. Load your OS "bare bones"... If everything is optional, do not install it.
    2. If the behavior is immediately, then try another OS with step 1
    3. If the behavior does not immediately, then run for as long as necessary to make you to be sure that the behavior will not occur.
    4. Add one more thing - no matter how tempting, one.
    5. If the behavior does not immediately present, and then runs for long enough to be sure he won't have the same problem
    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are responsible or the behavior presents

When the behavior shows up, you know the culprit... the last thing you have loaded.

If the behavior doesn't re-present, then you know that step 1 or 2 cured it.

If the behavior has anything, then you have probably a problem of material level for which no amount of OS or software can heal.

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

Well, any. Company is obliged to do with if your BB is saved on a specific company/BES server, provide enhanced services... I highly doubt your is such, but you never know. Indeed business functions are correlated to the Service books, but the functions of the company are not at all correlated to the BlueTooth features (except in rare circumstances where the admin system BES is the application "IT policy" to prevent BlueTooth functionality on the site of the BBs on the BES server).

Probably a good idea... Note that the things that I have said so far you may be only 25% of the complication of procedures level I think must be done to remedy your situation. So, indeed, it is probably a good idea for you to find someone to fix it for you (you can play to be well informed by telling them that he needs a clean OS reload, or even a deletion/reload BBSAK or JLCMDR).

  • BlackBerry Blackberry Curve Smartphones - synchronization between the device and Outlook issues

Email I delete in Outlook is not removed on my blackberry, and the same is true in reverse.  I have the right settings on my blackberry as well as in the account of my blackberry.  And I begin to believe that it originates with my Office Manager, as I can't check the box "Reconcile messages" "under the heading"Synchronize"in the Desktop Manager.  Accordingly, I am only able to sync my calendar, contacts, tasks, and memos.  I tried everything and spent a few hours on the phone with Verizon Tech only to be disconnected.  Help, please!

    • When you remove Outlook (Shift-Delete), it seems that the delete is propagated to your Blackberry, but it takes more than an hour.
    • When you delete on your Blackberry (Del), the deletion is propagated to your Outlook only if you said in the options.

Look on the internet there are all kinds of updates for os5 devices but the fact that they are on the run make me hesitate to download the operating system and stick to the version I'm running on: 5.0.0.681.
Is there an official update to 5,681 and can be available for download from the BB desktop software?

    Hello!

Please visit this official download portal as you go along. If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

  • BlackBerry Z10 configure my Outlook sync but you must disable synchronization with the sent, drafts and deleted records

When I go into settings it greys these they are already registered.  So I chose to sync all e-mail files, assuming that I could disable the files already sampled, but it only allows me to select folders additional vs uncheck the existing folders.

    Help!

    Jason

Hello and welcome to the community!

To work properly and transparently, be sync these files all the time. As you write a message, it must be auto registration in the drafts folder and synchronization on the server to prevent the catastrophic device failure. Similarly, sent items must be constantly placed on your server because it is a necessary function. Similarly with the elements removed (although there may be separate issues).

Suffice it to say that, if the box is already checked, AND it is grayed out, then you cannot affect the adjustment.

    Good luck!

I guess that's for companies only.

I went to Outlook.com which offers free the Exchange Active Sync. I recommend that you set up an Outlook.com account and just use it. You do not have yet to use/sync the email if you do not want. Just use it for contacts and calendar. I've dumped Google in total and could not be happier.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones trying to connect with the desktop software for my blackberry

Hey, M trying to connect with the desktop software for my blackberry torch 9800 and it asks password for the connection. I am using same unlock password I use for my bb but for desktop sofware it shows incorrect... pls help!

Make sure that you type on your BB, it's what you type in DM. don't forget that the keyboard on your BB is different from the keyboard on your PC. Some people think they are type numbers on their BlackBerry when they are really typing the letters. For example, to use numbers on a BB you must hold the ALT for each button, you push so you have to hold the alt key while typing 1 2 3 4. If you hold down the ALT key on the BB you would really be typed all W E R S. sometimes, people will hit the ALT key once (and not hold the button) before they enter the password and then you get 1 E R S.

Who is? Make sure that you do not mix numbers and letters.
