How can I get my music to my windows media player tomy ipod sync?

Hi NEYNEY10,

Windows Media Player are not compatible with the iPod. You may need to purchase a plug-in to sync the iPod to your windows media player.

IPod is designed to synchronize with ITunes.

Use your favorite search engine to find the plug-in that helps you accomplish the task.

my ipod plays only a few original downloads on my sound surround of boise, but the most recent downloads will only record and play on my computer. When I download music it synchronizes and can be found and played back on the computer but is not found on the actual screen of the ipod to play my biose surround sound, but there is space on the ipod.

If you wait for the new songs (in your iTunes library) to automatically synchronize to the iPod, it must be configured to use automatic synchronization (setting synchronization music ).  Select iPod in iTunes by clicking on its button on the device.  For current iTunes, the screenshot below shows top left corner my iTunes, iPod touch window circled in red.

Click this button to display the settings of the iPod summary screen in the iTunes window.  Along the left side of the window, in the sidebar, under settings, click on music.  To the right, the music from the iPod settings screen.  Check mark for Sync music box (if it isn't already)

NOTE: No matter what songs on iPod that are not in your iTunes library (on computer) will be lost.

This enables automatic synchronization.  You can choose to synchronize the entire music library (if it fits on the iPod) or a part of the selection .  Implement this screen as you want, and then click apply.  Further, iTunes automatically keeps iPod "in phase" with the changes to your music library (or the selected part of it) when you connect the iPod (or click sync , if already connected).

  • How do I automatically download my music on my iPod touch?

I want to download my music on my iPod touch. I can read music, but if I'm not connected to the internet, I can't listen to my music. I know that I can download a song at the time, but I have so many songs it will take a lot of time. Any suggestion or advice?

If you bought from the iTunes store and it's still in the store, and you have not reached the country, then use the tab purchased in the iTunes Store app to download music from iPod in the app. Or you can synchronize music from iPod to your computer's iTunes library from music to the app.

For future purchases (e.g. music buy on your computers iTunes) to automatically download the iPod when it's online tour settings > iTunes and App Store > music 'on '.

Except purchases of synchronization is iTunes to the device, even if the purchases can be copied into the other direction. See recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device and make sure that you have really all media stored on the device and not, for example, a display of your purchase history is stored in the cloud.

  • Is it possible to transfer music from an ipod 4G for the new model?

I got my ipod touch 4g since 2010 and I was too cheap to upgrade. Now that the battery life has been emptying faster than ever and high sleep button no longer works, I think its time to finally switch to this new model.

The bad part is that for the last 6 years, I have collected 12.6 GB worth of music on my ipod touch with nearly 85 per cent of it related to the device itself and not on my pc. I usually have the removed from the computer as Itunes would always keep always on my ipod touch as long as the songs were always listed in the library.

I was wondering is there a way to transfer my music from my old ipod touch to the new model?

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not that a transfer backup device and media has been planned with you keep a master copy of your media on a computer that is in itself independently supported against loss.  To use a device with a different configuration, you pass the old library from a computer or a backup directly in the new configuration, not the device to the library. Synchronization of media isn't a way, computer to the device, update the contents of the device to the content on the computer, update or restore the content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases that can be transferred to a computer.

Redownload or transfer your iTunes Store purchases an iPhone, iPad or iPod to computer - https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201267 - 'this feature only works for content purchased from the iTunes Store. From iOS9 is more apps that now need to be re-downloaded directly from the store.

To transfer other items from an i-device to a computer, you will need to use third-party commercial software.  See this document in turingtest2: recover your iTunes library from your iPod or device iOS - https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991 even this method can fully recover what you originally had in the library. For example, in order to save space during synchronization if you had converted music files at a lower rate, or photos at a lower resolution, it is these lower quality files that will pick you up.

If you subscribe to the Apple music, titles that are not part of the content that you have purchased or downloaded may not be transferred and must be downloaded directly from iCloud.

  • How can I get back are erased the music on my iPod nano?

Well, I sort of accidentally "erased and synced" all the music from my iPod nano.  I've lost countless songs and albums.  Is it possible to recover or restore lost music files?  Please tell me that I have not just stupidly everything lost!  Thank you and be well!

I guess that synchronize you the songs (for the iPod) from different iTunes library, so they are not in your current iTunes library.  If so, there is no way to get your songs using iTunes.

You may be able to use an application of general data recovery and deal with the iPod as a USB external drive.  These applications are used when people accidentally erasing a hard drive (or of a defective disc), or a hard drive becomes inaccessible due to data corruption.

  • How to stop itunes from Auto-filling of music on my ipod touch

How can I prevent itunes AutoFill music on my ipod touch unwanted 5 without having to delete songs or hide the songs (the ones I bought from the iTunes Store) my library on itunes (Windows)? I think that the songs that continue to if autofilled on my ipod are the ones I bought in the store. I didn't hide them in my library, I want to hear them more later to see if I want to add later, but I got fed up and did exactly that.  I will not hide from my library is because I want to be able to see without having to connect to my apple account in the itunes store, to see what songs I bought but have 'hidden' from my library or deleted the download of the.

I have no music sync checked, however, whenever I plug my ipod into my computer, music always synchronizes on my ipod.  I don't have the option to automatically download the songs I purchased on iTunes store checked.  I usually manually delete each of the songs, but I'm tired of having to do so.

I just tried to erase my ipod first of music, including those I wanted to keep, but I came across the problem where they would not disappear, even after reset everything on my ipod touch. I had to manually delete all (before doing so, I did what I do always when running in auto-fill issue - delete music in data storage settings manage, which works normally, but this time he did not).

I'm really starting to hate Itunes because of this auto-fill problem.

I'm on Windows and iTunes 11, for what it's worth, but I think it should work even if you have a slightly different version.

Before you plug in your iPod, go to the menu small case in the upper left corner of iTunes (or if you have the menu bar visible, click on change). Select Preferences, go to devices in the pop-up window, and check the box that says "Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads of automatic synchronization. Click on low OK.at of the pop-up window.

This should solve the problem. Worked for me anyway (I am like you and prefer to manually manage all my stuff).

  • Cannot delete music from my iPod shuffle

I have music on my iPod shuffle but want to change it.  When it is plugged into my mac and I open iTunes, I can click on the playlist button change and it brings up the list of music. However, nothing happens when I press on Delete on the song I want to delete. What I am doing wrong?

    Have you tried the following?

If the sidebar of iTunes (on the left of the window) is not visible, in the menu bar, under display, select see the sidebar.

In the sidebar, under DEVICES, select the shuffle.  Click on the small triangle to the left of the name shuffle, to fall to the bottom of his list of contacts (indented under the shuffle).  Click on music here.  The list of songs on the shuffle appears to the right.  Select the song you want to remove the random and press delete on the keyboard.  You can select more than one song at the same time.

  • iPod classic. PC I have had all my music on died. can I connect iPod to my new Mac Office and store the music on the iPod in the cloud?

I have an iPod classic 5th generation which has all my music on it. I had an old office that was on original music and he's dead. Now, I have a Mac desktop and other products, apple, iPhone, apple tv, Mac laptop, etc.  How can I get the music from classic iPod in the cloud so I can access it on all my other devices?

Ideally, you have a backup of your user data from your old computer, including your iTunes data, and you can transfer data from iTunes on your Mac.

By design, iTunes sync is generally in one direction, from the iTunes library on your computer to the iPod.  You cannot use iTunes to transfer files of song from iPod to computer, with the exception of songs purchased on the iTunes Store (you can also re - download on iTunes Store free of charge).  However, there are methods and third party utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer.  If you do an Internet search on something like 'ipod music transfer', you should get a few useful links.  Once the files of the song on the drive of your Mac, add them to your current iTunes library.

If you want to make your library iTunes music accessible to other computers and devices (compatible), you own, you need to subscribe to Match iTunes (or Apple's music) gives you a library music to iCloud.

And since you are using a Mac now, don't forget TSF function built-in Time Machine an external drive, allows you to save all your data automatically.  (iPods are not intended for backup data iTunes).

  • How can I get my songs Apple music on my iPod Nano? I pay $15 a month for the service and cannot listen to songs on my iPod Nano 7th generation.

I pay $15 a month for the service of music and cannot hear the songs on my iPod Nano 7th generation. Someone must have found a way around this now? I might as well sell my iPod, because I'm not paying for the song in iTunes as well.

You can not.  Downloads music from Apple are written songs, does not belong to him. Apple music requires an Internet connection, so that the status of your subscription can be verified (as required by the content producers).  The only iPod that can use music Apple's iPod touch, because there Internet by Wi - Fi.

  • Is it possible to synchronize music and photos from iTunes from multiple computers?

We have two MacBook Pro - one for me and one for my children.

Currently, I manage all the music and pictures via my Mac (synchronization of iOS devices), so there is a place for all the music and photos.

However, children now want to be able to manage their own music and photos.

Is it possible to synchronize music or photos from multiple computers? for example:

-Sync Mac and pictures of the other music

    -Synchronize Mac music

    Thank you

The key thing here is not the machines it's libraries. Devices can synchronize an iTunes library at a time. You have to arrange if both computers have the same library (problems with maintaining them synchronized or using at the same time), or seek a centralized service such as game or music from Apple (with her own set of questions).  The key is that the media distributors wish to exercise tight control over how music and movies can be shared (they don't care about your photos).  You can do things with the homepage of sharing with family.

Family shares - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT201060 - "family sharing makes it easy for up to 6 people in your family share of each and other iTunes, iBooks, and App Store purchases without sharing accounts.» Families with the same credit card purchases and approve kids' expenses directly from the device of a parent. And share photos, a family calendar and more to help keep everyone connected. »

«Sharing content with sharing - http://support.apple.com/HT201085 - bought family"with the participation of the family, family members go immediately to each and any other music, movies, TV shows, books and applications and can download to their devices at any time they souhaitez.*" ' * not all content and content types are available in all countries.» All members of the family must use the same iTunes Store country or region. Music, movies, TV shows and books can be downloaded on up to 10 devices per account, of which five may be computers. Apps can be downloaded from the other facilities, family member owns or controls.

If you do not see your family sharing content - http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5449 also: http://apple.stackexchange.com/a/146077 - exit iTunes Store and App Store apps and start over.

  • How can I make sure that my music on my Ipod Classic is not lost forever, if it breaks down?

How can I make sure that my library of music on my Ipod Classic is not lost forever, if it breaks down?

    Back it up.

Your music library should never exist only on your iPod.  It must be present on a computer in iTunes, and to be sure it must be saved on an external drive also.

If your library no longer exists on your computer for whatever, reason, you need to extract the iPod.
