Synchronizing clips

I'm trying to synchronize two clips. I chose the two clips using command, but the option "synchronize clips...". "is grayed out.  What Miss me? Thanks for any help.  I'm a real amateur.

What are the exact specifications of the clips? Clips can be almost anything. Post screenshots.

  • Trouble with clips synchronized

It's certainly a thing 'user error', but I'd like to get an overview of what I might get hurt.

I have pictures of an event where speakers delivered presentations of slides. The deliverable we produce is basically a PIP type thing where you see the slide, and you have the video of speaker in the top right...

We have also audio microphone. The desire is therefore to synchronize all this and then do the editing. Now, I can get this sync without problem, and I get a compound clip. I import into my schedule and I can 'open in the timeline' to view all components. I can then cut around taking my 3-hour session in a 9-minute film highlights with the look you see here. I also shoot down the camera audio and use the audio desk microphone only... as well as a few voice-over and music.

But, when I export, I have a video 3 h with black at the beginning and end and no audio. My solution has been to create a new clip of my project, put in a new project and lowering record in a master file. It works, but it does seem like the elegant way to do it.

Any advice people can have on how CPF handles synchronized clip is very much appreciated.

    Nige.

You create a synchronized Clip? Or a multicam clip? You say you've got a clip made up, which is similar but not exactly the same as a synchronized video.

You synchronize the slides and the video presenter? If so, how? Are they captured by a camera as well? (I'm curious about it, because, although it would make their synchronization to the presenter really easy, the quality of the blades would be much better if you had access to the original presentation)

I think that the problem may be caused by your use of "Open in the timeline", but it is difficult to see without a clearer idea of your workflow. This should be used sparingly or not at all. Normally, you put the clip in a project timeline and edit it. If necessary

  • the force first to recognize clips merged as in sync

I used the function of merger of the PP clamp using audio waveform to synchronize my clips. Everything worked very well, even if some audio files were off less than a frame. I learned from the audio time units feature see the and used to synchronize my clips perfectly, but now when I put them in a timeline it shows as out of sync by 0:113 or something. I talked to a technician from adobe on the phone and basically, he told me that it was a feature, not a bug. Is it possible in the Debug menu (can't find in the version that I am many others he suggested in the previous posts of the forum for older versions) to turn off sync in all indicators, or to say the first that these clips are actually in phase?

    I'm on CC PP v9.2.0.

    Thank you!

The only way I can think to do is if you create new subclips of all synchronized clips 'fixed '. Depending on how many clips you have, it's perhaps more trouble that it's worth.

In the future, it might be interesting to use the function "Create multicamera Source Sequence" instead, you can automatically offset audio and also adjust the multi-came clip in the timeline for manual corrections as well.

  • Send to first first Clip

With the help of an iPhone5s. When I send a video of first project, I get a warning of clips not synchronized and cannot send the project.

If I turn the phone on and off the power of the timing of clips and I can send to first.

I have a Wi - fI connection and clips are less than 4 minutes.

Is it possible to re-synchronization of the clips?

    Thank you

    Hi Mike,.

Automatically synchronize all changes to the project (adding a title, suddenly adding eye, cropping). When you get the error 'not synchronized clips', this means that the media in your project are always uploading to the cloud.

If you keep the project open and wait a few minutes, the media will complete the synchronization - no need to restart your device. You can monitor the progress of your synchronization of the project by tapping the circle of spinning next to the music note icon. Once the rotation circle disappears (or progress shows "Synchronize") you can send your project to Premiere Pro.

Please let us know if your project does not synchronize 100% and we can help you solve.

  • Select items in the browser for synchronization

I tried to synchronize a soundtrack with a presentation "talking head". I tried "Sync Clips", but could not click on two clips in the browser. When I clicked on the second the first chose is no longer. I solved this problem by putting the track sound and video in the timeline and then by moving the sound track until the sound and video have been synchronized. I want to take excerpts from the video to make a short promotional video. I selected the sound and the video on the timeline using the blade too and following the instructions of several clips Cup selected at the time the section instructions and then copy and paste them into a new timeline. The sound in the tradition of the new time is not synchronized with the video.

All the instructions I've read on synchronous clips simply says to select both clips, and it worked when I tried it first two weeks ago, but it won't now. If I could get this to work I guess I could paste sections synchronized video in the new timeline. Also, it would be much faster to use "Clips synchronized" rather than move the audio track in the timeline.

The original audio file was MP3 I have converted to AIFF.

  • With A Sync please help (I'm on a date deadline)

OK, so here's the deal. Shoot us with two cameras at the same time, both cameras synchronized with a free run time code. Both cameras do not always start and stop recording at the same time, so multiple sequences recorded throughout the day should be synchronized during the editing process. The final video is a sequence multiclip with two camera angles, at the same time (scaled and repositioned) on-screen display and synchronized between them. I am able to bring the first clip of camera A and the first clip of camera B and synchronize both at a time even if we can get anywhere from 40-100 camera clips every day. Final cut pro (not X) had a feature that automatically synchronized clips of two cameras and placed in a sequence with the timecode for clips corresponding to the sequence of timecode.

Is this possible with premiere pro, and if so, how does one?

I've often warned users away PluralEyes from red giant, mainly because of many problems reported here of people who use it.  But recently, I found myself in a situation that really need this software.  So, I tried.

Version 4.0 has worked brilliantly, inside PP.  Took me four hours to synchronize half a recital of dance by hand.  PE did the whole 10-minute sequence.

    Give the trial a go.

  • Audio sync after the Edit

    Hi guys,.

I have a question about the workflow - is it possible in first?

    1. I save the video and audio separately.

2 do the editing with video files first (scenario A)

3 synchronize audio with video files (scenario B)

Is there a way automatically 'to' timeline B chronology A synchronized audio files so that I can read the A timeline with audio correct without manual synchronization?

    Hi Tomasz_CC!

Here is a possible workaround. (I do this suggestion without anything about your project.) Basically, I would say a workflow / offline but rather broad proxy files, you will be connect to your synchronized clips.

Here are two links that explain the concept of/off line and reissue of links in Premiere Pro:

Create clips for offline editing in Premiere Pro

Reissue of links media offline in Premiere Pro

    Here is my solution:

1.) export your synchronized clips of "timeline" B with the EXACT SAME file names and the SAME EXACT duration. Having the same file name right is critical for the reissue of links in batches. Otherwise, you need to connect the elements one by one. With the same guarantees of exact duration that the content of your synchronized video files will correspond to the version not synchronized. You may need to cut your audio synchronized to video clips before you export. Export the synchronized versions of the video files to a new folder and name it "Synchronize" or similar. (This assumes you have enough storage space for this new medium.)

2.) make a duplicate of your project. (Just for security.)

(3.) in your project duplicate, select video files in your project, right click and choose «Make offline...» ». Choose "Media files remain on the disk" in the window to make offline.

4.) with your video files still selected, right-click and choose «Link media...» ».

5.) in the link Media browser, check the "republish other box automatically. Click search, and then navigate to the folder 'Synchronize' with your exported synchronized video files.

6.) turn on the "display only exact matches name" can help you locate the clip to bind.

7.) once you have located the clip, press OK and all the video files in your project and "A chronology" should be linked to the synchronized versions.

I hope that makes sense! Only, you will know if this work around is to have to re - edit. Good luck!

  • Double video track

Am I to believe that first is unable to reproduce a video track within a period? not a clip but a track with their effects and synchronized clips on clips, everything except the audio I must be wrong. I can't find the answer anywhere on google. t is super simple in other editing programs, but I can't find it in first. Help please. Thank you

    Hi Steven,

    • With the track before selection tool, click at the beginning of the track that you want to duplicate. This select the clips on this track.
    • Choose the Edition command > copy
    • Create a new track
    • Make sure that the range is selected and others are deselected.
    • Edition > paste

    This should work for you.

    Thank you

  • CS4 project went wrong HD.  Still don't see it.

    Encode error 2.JPG

I have a new question here that I've never had before.  I created my project as I usually do in my projects folder on my E: drive.  Put all my AVCHD clips in this location, opened with the MediaBrowzer.

Synchronized clips and completed my project using Multi Cam Edit.   Title of the project shows that it is on the E: drive.  Plays perfect in the monitor.    It has exported in again and I got the above error message. Still shows that the source is drive C:.   I'm going to and see the elements of project on the E: drive, but the title Purple 'Pr' logo and the the project file is on the C: drive, at the location indicated above.   I can open the c: project too.  However, when I sent it in again, I get the same error above.

Suggestions on how can I encode this project would be appreciated.

    Help please.   Tom B.

  • Monitor multi-cam CS5.5

    Hey all,.

I have change a piece of several camera in my sequence and use the multi-cam monitor to see the other angles. The only thing is that I can't get playback in real time on the preview window and not in the multi-came window, it updates only in the multi-came window once playback is stopped.

Is it normal or I do something wrong?

    Thanks in advance

If your multiple camera monitor shows just two screens, I fear that your multicam workflow is a little bad. You probably have not nested sequence with different camera angles in a sequence master muticam and, therefore, can see one angle of the camera as well as the view that result in your sequence 'multicam '...

In other words, when you have created a sequence of different camera angles, synchronized clips etc etc, you must nest this sequence in another - a master (or target) sequence. See this section helps editing multicamera.

  • CineForm Codec blocks Media Encoder CS4

Try the Cineform Neoscene current evaluation version. Regardless of the Codec settings, exporting with Cineform Codec blocks my SOUL (PPro CS4). Eventually only a hard reboot will get things running again. Other codecs work very well.  Hoping for some suggestions to this address.

I need to intermediate rendering - one of the 3 bands of project (all images a XHA1 on nine cassettes HD) is corrupted and I have to drag the audio autour and export synchronized clips of this tape images capture with frames has fallen/red resulting in quirky (not not adrift, aparrently) audio/video synchronization. (Same - or worse - capture problem with split HDV and Cineform captures also. Renounced Digest footage synched after days of attempts.) Have successfully captured many hours of DV with the system with the exception of this one band.

The export problem occurs with any of the images (not included) I put on a timeline in any format of project I tried (including DV). It occurs if the body runs, reduced or closed when the SOUL is executed.

(This installation of CS4 works well otherwise, although - to solve some recent and accidents-on-quit performance slowdowns - I couldn't reinstall the program unless I added a second user/admin account. Adobe don't know why).

I made this firewall and anti-virus are disabled when the two installation/relocation of this and during the execution of these exports. XPpro is a new facility with all the drivers and all of the updated components. BIOS flashed recently updated.

I feel also a modest success doing this little project HD on a pair of lowish-spec PCs (one is a backup) and rents cameras in part to determine my next update (PC or Mac, FCP - body do not know what the HD camera) for an optimised system HD.

The technique I use is minimal, but acceptable for something Cineform, according to the readme file. I expect that at least the smaller settings would work, but all this crash identically - a few seconds after clicking "start queue"; always before any progress are tabbed/shown.  A notice of accident replaces SOUL, including a window to report the accident to Adobe. I send that and try again. Finally, the system goes up to 100% CPU use after one of those accidents and remains there, despite attempts by Bishop of task or flaps to close the body/SOUL. Each TEA attempt adds another instance of PProHeadless to the list of processes, but the performance is all too crashy from the first through the last attempt.

I tried all the solutions that my research has updated. Suggestions appreciated.

    CS4
    P4 3 GHz
    3.2 GB of ram
    GEforce 8800 GT
    7200 RPM SATA drives

CineForm works well on the system.  Finally, there was an update I don't have CS4 and SOUL.  Cineform has said to install those and the codec works very well.

  • CS4: Setting Up separate audio/video Capture Sources

Im still very new to PrProCS4 and I was wondering what I can met if I want to use audio/video separated the peripheral issues of capture to record directly in first. I have a Canon ZR40 cheapo camera, but instead of using his microphone embedded terrible I want to use my recording equipment with my Tascam US-144 and a microphone powered ghost as my audio device. Are there problems that im going to meet with the sync between the two, and is still possible in the first to lead the record?

First won't be able to record live together at the same time.  It can handle only a single source FireWire at the same time.

If you record separate sounds, the only problem you will encounter is the synchronization of clips.  Essentially, you will have to do it for every single clip in the sequence.  There is no process of simple automatic synchronization for a whole lot of clips.

Your best bet would be to connect the external microphone on the camera and recording the sound on the tape.  This way, you will get the best audio and synchronized clips.

  • Clip of Adobe is not synchronized for first

I'm not able to get clip adobe projects to synchronize with premiere pro.  I tried several times and still get a notification saying that my project is not synchronized, even though it says its synced in the progress window.  Anyone encountered this?  Is there a way to fix this?

I have corrected the problem.  I don't know what caused it, but I deleted the clip for my phone and reinstalled.  It seems to work fine now.  I don't know what caused the origin of the question, but it clears it up now.

  • How can I do a synchronized audio track matches the length of the clips selected in a seq multicam?

I have a continuous multicam sequence about 13 minutes containing a master audio track synchronized, registered separate microphones. I want to rearrange the scenes of her in my final sequence, but when I select a range of clips to nest the length of audio is pasted in the new sequence. I want to cut off the audio signal to match just the clips I have chosen but not synchronous. Is it possible to do or is nesting not how to cut out a sequence and reorganize the scenes in there?

    Thank you.

  • Audio and video not synchronized on clip .avi (h.264)

    Hi Pro

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my question.

Using the Conversion of Tipard software, I converted the file .mts the Canon HF M31 camera in .avi (h.264) with audio.  The new video file is synchronized during playback in STROKE or Windows Media Player.

But when I place this .avi file convert on the CS6 Premiere Pro timeline, it becomes more synchronized.  I tried imported directly from the camera but APPro CS6 any not audio.

1 y at - it a better format to convert, versus .avi (h.264)?

Any help perfecting how to get the video (with audio) off the coast on the chronology of h & s and my Canon HFM31 would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your answer.

    Ciao

    Darrell

When you start first you see AVCHD presets? If you do not then you need to either activate the first, or you might need to reinstall because something is damaged.

    http://helpx.Adobe.com/Premiere-Pro/KB/features-presets-missing-Premiere-Pro.html

in anyway, if someone else about a week ago I helped was having this problem and after much troubleshooting, I realized that they were missing sequence presets and when they made a new installation, everything has been fixed. Please check this out.
