system administrator password has a limit on the characters?

titled original administrator password: System

I have reset my password administrator only. On the change password screen, it allows you to only put in many characters. I used a password that contains 12 characters. There are only 11 spaces available for your password on the login screen and I can not connect.  is there a solution for this?

You can type all 12 characters, although only 11 points will appear on the screen. Boulder computer Maven

  • How to install the plugin overview of the financial performance when the administrator password has spaces?

I try to install the plugin from Performance in the 4 update, but my local administrator password is actually a password with spaces (and special characters) in it that creates problems with the file install.bat.  If I enclose the password in the spaces, %2 equals everything up to the first space, and the installation fails.  If I join all quotes I get "Piggy is unexpected in this moment" (assuming that 'piggy' is the second word in the passphrase).  Then... someone did - he was able to pull this or have any ideas on how to get it to work?  One thing I thought is to use my domain account that does not have this problem, but the documentation is not clear if the user account they want is VCenter runs under the service account or just an account he need temporarily to perform the installation.

all you need is an account that belongs to the vCenter to level administrators group hosts & Clusters

  • Impossible to change the administrator password or log in to the administrator! (CF10)

So as the title says, I can't connect to the administrator and change the password through Coldfusion10\cfusion\bin\passwordreset.bat doesn't seem to be actually change the password because I always get the "invalid username/password" when I try to log in after resetting the password.

Further, I used the old method of changing neo - security.xml and changed 'admin.security.enabled' to false. This allowed me access to the administrator, but even in this case, when I activate the password protection and reset the password of the administrator, I am still unable to connect!

A detail that may be a clue to solve this problem: when installing CF, it has been fixed to not use the default username "admin". When I try to open a session if I try with "admin" and the username is personalized with no luck.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem? It seems that the password encryption system is broken and store the hash of password reset evil or something...

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I have to restart the service after the reset of the password.

  • System administrator password, it's too long-locked out of my computer

I created a password for the system administrator.  I can not connect in my computer now.  Apparently, the password I created was too long, because it does not fit in the password input area.  Why he would allow me to create a password does not work?  What can I do?  Help, please!  Thank you very much.

In accordance with the following Microsoft article, the maximum length of password on Windows XP is 127 characters.  If the window will not hold your password, just keep typing - strikes will be saved.

  • McAfee Mcagent.exe - McAfee Security Center remains in my bar tasks in my system after McAfree has been uninstalled from the control panel.

Installation and activation of McAfee has been ignored in my Windows 7 startup initialization process. The system has been uninstalled using the control panel. But some debris such as (mcagent.exe - McAfee Security Center) remain in the taskbar on my computer. I chose to install Microsoft Security Essentials thereafter. If it has been activated or not makes no difference, use the McAfee removal tool

  • Need to enter the administrator password before I can download the software upgrade

I found I need to install an upgrade of the software, but cannot do without an ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD ... which I don't have (or I had not one when I implemented that stand-alone pc, or I forgot whether I don't have an administrator password to use).

Can someone tell me how to find what it is, how to change it, or how to make my normal "logon" Administrator status (without having to set an administrator password, because that's the problem I have).

I tried various methods, but everyone tells me that I need the ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD and so I'm stuck.

I've seen a lot of suggestions for the windows password (which I guess is different for the ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD), because none of the suggestions for this work without an administrator password.

    Hello Jules.

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft community.

I would like to know some information about the problem so that we can help you better.

    1. is the issue specific to the installation of software updates?
    2. what troubleshooting have you done when you say, 'I have tried different methods?

Thank you for details on the question and your efforts to resolve.

This problem may occur either if the user account control settings can not correct because of where it stops installation or there is a problem with the registry keys that control the installation of a program.

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:
Run this Microsoft fixit and check.
    Reference:
The problems that the programs cannot be installed or uninstalled
    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/program_install_and_uninstall

If this does not help, use method 2.

    Method 2:
Disable user account control and then try to install the software updates.
    Reference:
    Disable UAC in Windows 8
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/hyperyash/archive/2012/07/18/disabling-user-account-control-in-Windows-8.aspx

    Important notes:

Control (UAC) user account can help you to prevent your computer from unauthorized changes. It works by asking permission when a task requires administrative rights, such as installing software or changing settings affecting other users. We do not recommend disable user account control. If you turn it off, you must reactivate as soon as possible.

Serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

    I hope this information helps.

  • XE has a limit on the maximum number of processes?

    I just got a...

ORA-00020: maximum number of processes (%s) exceeded

    My XE instance.

I don't remember any mention of a limit on the number of processes in [the 10g Guide family produces | http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/oracle10g/pdf/twp_general_10gdb_product_family.pdf].

Is limited and if yes what is it?

    Hello

It is a parameter that defines the maximum number of process 'PROCESS '. This is a global setting for all versions, you will need to change that in order to solve the problem.

In the case of XE, a restriction on the mind in the process is the maximum amount of RAM that should not exceed 1 gigabyte.
