  I'm trying to fix a Qosmio G20 (which is about 3 years old, it is no longer in warranty).

  I managed to remove the outer case and observe the operation of the machine, and basically one of the fans does not at all.   Usually, this message would appear if something is not wrong with the cooling system. But I read here in the forum that maybe it's a bug of software and after new system recovery this message should no longer appear.

• PCI-5105 FetchForever with 2 or more channels?

  I use the PCI-5105 and MS Visual Studio 2008 to pick up a signal.  I based my code out of the FetchForever example and it works very well for a channel.  I now need to continually monitor 2 channels.  Can someone help me building this?  The example allows only one channel.  Maybe there is a better way.  Currently I use algorithms on the data from one
  channel.  When there is a signal that triggers in my code, I save
  ~ 25 ms of data on this channel.  My goal is to now record two channels when the first string triggers in my code.

  Hi Tom,

  What is your ultimate goal in terms of data acquisition?  I understand that you would like to acquire the 2 lanes of a data value, but it is is not clear as to whether you want continuous samples, several records of samples, the last available samples etc..  There are many possibilities.  Also, do you need to correlate the data to a trigger?

  Assuming that you are looking for continuous data, you want to stay with the example FetchForever rather than try the configured Acquisition example (I would refer only to see how 2 channels are recovered).

  FetchForever is not the most intuitive examples.  So, here's a quick explanation of how/why it works: continuous data Acquisition

  Basically, a reference trigger is a trigger that tells the jury when to stop the acquisition.  By defining this trigger to the software, do us the digitizer to wait for a trigger and guaranteeing that he will never get a (because we're not going to send a).  Records are normally formed around the trigger of the judgment, and when search you, you get recording including pre and post release samples.  In this case the digitizer is permanently by filling a buffer of samples that could potentially become before triggering samples (if a trigger has been sent). We simply use the reading pointer to follow the samples we have already read & so what samples to read further.

  Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, MSE, Comodo, etc..

  Give these ideas some consideration if they apply to you.
  Sometimes malicious will afflict your system restore to prevent you to find and remove malware.  It would much rather you trick into thinking that you need to repair or reinstall your XP when it is not necessary.
  No matter what you use for protection against malware, I do so and then only begin to solve any problems:

  Two weeks ago, crashed my HP Pavilion Elite HPE - 480 t hard drive model.  It is a 1.5 TB came with the PC.  I bought a WD 1 TB hard drive and installed.  When I used my recovery discs, I received a message, "the system recovery disks do not support this computer.  You are not able to restore this system with these discs. "Because I had never used these recovery discs, I assumed I had their damn so I bought authentic system recovery disks from HP.  Yesterday them - even received training as before.  I called HP tech support and I was told that those recovery disk works with a hard drive that is identical with the original hard drive.  Located between the two hard drives that the original HD had a 3 GB/s, and the new is 6 Gbps.  Is this correct?  They "graciously" offered replacing my new hard drive with a hard drive that works for only $180.  Seems a little steep, but I am confused.  Is system of technical recovery disks?  I would like another opinion.  If buying a new motherboard out me of this?  If someone knows a resolution to my situation, I would be very grateful.  Help!

  This morning at the start of my ThinkPad W520, the player no longer works. A glance in the (Windows 7, 64-bit) Device Manager shows the 'Base system device' and points out that "the drivers for this device are not installed." Trying to get Windows Installer natively drivers does not work. Some googling shows others with similar problems in the past; recommendations include installing a card reader driver Ricoh for Windows XP or Vista; It did not work. Other drivers available include 8ass82ww.exe and 8axv51ww.exe - these don't work. Installation of the own Support Center Lenovo software shows that the Base system device driver is not installed. I can't find a way to install it. I tried installing driver exe files and searching the same files using the browse-for-the window Windows files during the installation of the drivers for the Base system device.

  Yes, that seemed to do the trick!  All my games is like lightning and the pc is popping as when it was new.  I'll check for dust and perhaps aspire case on.  I have not done this with this machine that we are in a new home with no pets, but it could still be imposed as the House seems dusty for me.
