• How will I know when to run the oracle table statistics?

  I have a situation Here.Several weeks back, one of my application developer complained about the performance issue in one of the application. I looked at the table statistics, statistics on the table were outdated and ran the table statistics, query ran a lot faster. The same problem occurred in another application, and hoping that oracle will take the right decisions based on the statistics, I ran the statistics for the tables involved in the query, but this time things got worse? Why is this? According to oracle documentation the optimizer must have updated statistics on the tables and indexes that surround these tables, so how do we decide when to run the statistics on the tables by making sure that we have no worse things. Thank you

  You don't tell us your version of db, but if you're on 10g and above, Oracle marks as out-of-date statistics when the RASSI percentage reaches or crosses the 10%. 11.1 from automatic work, managed by the ABP process runs nightly 10om at 02:00 on weekdays (can't recall for weekends) and supports the same. The question, when to collect the statistics is actually very subjective in your environment. Most of the time, it would be a weekly or a night and work in a data warehouse, in the next window ETL. You would need to play with the amount of the percentage of blocks of the table before you would be able to come to percentage that can work for your plans in a good way. I also saw the return of cardinality plays a large role in the exercise sometimes. You can watch here as well.

• VI to run the .exe program

  Hello

  use of labview to activate and run a .exe program located in a specific folder on the c drive?

  When I run the program .exe manually from the command prompt I navigate to the desired folder, and then enter "runapplication.exe" to run the compiled c code.

  I've searched the forums labview but especially articles relating to the creation of executables labview or labview .exe programs.

  Also could call or run the TestSTAND .exe program without having to create a VI?

  It is a Buffer Exreception overflow error that takes place within the program, caused by the t6sp.exe file.

  A buffer overflow occurs when data written to a buffer programmatically also corrupts data values in memory addresses adjacent to the destination due to the insufficient limits check buffer. This can happen when you copy data from a buffer to the other without checking first that the data fits into the destination buffer.

  I recommend that you contact the developer for assistance or to check known issues or updates of performance for this game.

  Do a clean reinstall and delete the program folder before Firefox to (re) install a new copy of the current version of Firefox.

  I'm using Labview to control a camera and a motor, who need a boot before I can use them.  Currently I have the status of fact manually, but there is a lot of time and unproductive.  I wish this part of my code to run first and before any other code in my VI.  I am a little naïve in the way that this is possible and my gutfeeling is it is should not be difficult.

  I tried to use boolean to start my loop once the code is executed, but it is not effective when I have more of a lead-in to run.  LabVIEW run them in parallel...

  All you have to do is create a dependency on the data. Everything is in the stream!

  Can you give a little more detail on what your initialization code needs to do? Most likely, it generates an error at the end, so if if wire you this error at the edge of the main code loop, until the initialization is complete.

  A better solution would be to create a correct state machine, which is one of the States initialization code. The trigger as the first State. This method has the advantage that you can reset again at a later date if necessary, without the need for a restart of the program.

  Never trap code in a structure of sequence as shown above, it is very rigid. For example, it is not possible to pass from one State or change the running order.

• Lean how to run the stop code when the highest level VI ends

  Hi people.

  I am a newbie of LV with 30 years of experience in embedded SW engineering.  I searched for how to run the stop code when a VI of highest level ends.  I found many examples, but they are horribly complicated.  A little birdie told me that such a model of simple design should not be so compilicated.

  My application is an application of high tension control to disable all HV checkpoints when the SW ends.  My VI code is running in a while loop with a stop button that leads out of the loop.  I can easily accomplish my requirement by programming with a sequence of plate that runs after the end of the main loop.  The technique of flat sequence does not work when the user clicks the Cancel button in the toolbar of façade, more than that market when the user clicks the close button of the application (X button) when you run the exe application.

  Can someone tell me please a simple technique, the code example that can show me a lean and elegant way to accomplish my task?  It doesn't have to be an obvious solution (for example a stop induced watchdog seems simple enough).

  Get the C800044E error code when you try to run Windows Update.  Tried Mr. FixIt, who did not work and tried to do what does not work also:

  Please, try the following suggestions to see if the problem can be solved:

  1. click on Start, type notepad in the start search box and press ENTER.

  2 copy and paste (or type) the following command lines in the Notepad window:

  net stop wuauserv

  CD %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution

  Ren Download.old download

  net start wuauserv

  3. on the file menu, click on record under and type Rename.bat .

  4. click on save as type and then click on all files (*. *) .

  5. save the Rename.bat file to your desktop.

  6. right click on the Rename.bat file, and then click run as administrator .  If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or click continue . It renames the download folder.

  7. try to install the updates again.

  I would like to ask if anyone has ever tried to run the Labview Code on the material vector in Standaone Mode,

  The VN8970 have a PC as material and I would use as my hardware target.

  Labview programming would go toward, creating / establishing a controller which output is POSSIBLE only.

  Necessary sensor data is on the BUS CAN even output going to the CAN-BUS network.

  The vector hardware box 8970 should run with the Labview code inside and be just like a car engine controller, just a BOX knot...

  Can anyone shade some light on this topic because it is very difficult to collect all the required bits.

  Vector support won't help with that because that intends it to sell their own software, which does not fit this need.

  Far as I can tell the VN8970 has an ATOM processor or a core-i7 on board and running something called vector CANoeRT.

  From the VN89xx Manual:

  "The family of interface VN8900 offers a stand-alone mode that allows you to measure without any other PC user.

  To this end that a request can be configured in the canoe, which is then written to the NVM of the VN8900. After a reboot, the configura-tion is loaded and the measure began independently. »

  Canoe uses a programming language called CAPL. My understanding is that the code of the CAPL is downloaded on the series VN89xx materials and run directly on the device without the need to be connected to a PC.

  In other words, I don't think there is a way to get a LabVIEW code to run on a VN8970.

  The vxlapi.dll that is used here is intended to be used on a Windows operating system. You can use it to control the VN8970 similar to the other vector material, but not in standalone mode.   I don't know what OS runs on the material of VN89xx but I doubt you'd be able to install a LabVIEW run-time engine on it.

  I think your only option to run a VN8970 in stand-alone mode is to buy a canoe license that allows you to do and learn how to write the CAPL.
