Open a new account and see if that makes a difference. You can depending on your configuration, you will need to take ownership of your personal files.

Okay, well that was a beast of a problem to say the least. I am so relieved to be done with this nonsense.

How it all started - a little recap:

We changed the password on our wireless network we have updated for security reasons.  I could not find all that helped me update the details of the network (password or the SSID) directly on my printer and said all that I had to uninstall and reinstall everything (and re - run the wifi via USB connection). This is not the case - there is a much simpler solution that I have will cover also the end of this post. Anyway, as mentioned above, during the phase of the installation of device drivers, the installation program plant with the Windows message "HP Installer Setup has stopped working".

    How I fixed it:

    1. print a configuration page by pressing the button "resume" for a few seconds and let go. I have taken note of the following in the upper right:

    Status: Not connected
    Network in use: no
    IP address: 0.0.0.0

I myself am continued to ask me if I could connect the printer directly via the port ethernet so I...

2 connect a cat5 from my laptop to the printer.

3 printed a second Setup page. Now, I got the following information:

    Status: connected

    Network in use: Wired

    IP address: 169.254.71.50

    4. I opened my web browser and tried to 169.254.71.50, but the page wouldn't connect. I recently built a computer game and has found a way to bridge the internet from a laptop wireless to a wired device (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96Z1_6rX5qU) so I was wondering if this could work with the printer.

5 filled my network connections and wireless according to the video above.

6a open my web browser and once more tried to navigate to 169.254.71.50 and it WORKED! (Not sure if this IP address is unqiue for my printer, but printing a configuration report is the best place to find it.

    7. I clicked on the Networking tab and then select Wireless Configuration.

    8. from there, I was able to activate my wireless connection, my password wireless update and choose I wanted to connect to the wireless network! This is how you can update your wifi information without having to do a complete reinstall!

    9. I now unplugged the ethernet cable (as suggested next to turn on/off radio buttons. My printer wireless power and is light stayed on. I have now connected once again!

    10. I don't think it was a crucial step, but I also implemented printing mobile ePrint

    11. I printed another page of configuration and can now see the following:

    Status: connected

    Periphery in use: wireless

    IP address: 192.168.1.115

    12. I can now navigate to the printer in my browser using this IP address and was able to find and print on my printer wireless through my phone, but still couldn't print from my wireless laptop.

    13. I inserted the original installation CD, held my breath and clicked on install. Hold your breath here is optional.

    14. He asked how I wanted to connect, and as before, I choose wireless. This time, instead of asking me to connect the USB, it FINDS my printer on the network. I chose this, clicked on continue and all installed successfully!

Everything is now back to normal! I can use my wireless printer once more. Please let me know if anyone has additional information on the steps above need, or if something does not work for you because there is no other solution out there. Believe me, I spent HOURS AND HOURS to research. I hope this helps some of you!

    See you soon,.

  • Install HP fails under Windows 7 64 - bit for Printer series CP1020

    Hello!

I tried to solve this for days, and I've seen a lot of suspense/unresponded to messages about the same topic so I hope that someone sees this!

    Product & number: Color LaserJet CP1025nw CE914A

Operating system: Windows 7 64 bit

Error message: HP LaserJet Installer has stopped working

Changes made to the system before the error occurred: We have updated our info from the router, so I ran the installation disc to reconnect the printer wireless. He uninstall programs initially added to the sleeve of the printer.

    Details:

-Very well, so 3 days ago we updated our router SSID and password for security reasons. Apparently, there is no easy way to update the details of the network for the CP1025nw so I had to run the installation disc. It prompted me to uninstall the software, reboot, and reinstall. I scoured the guests and then choose 'connect via a wireless network. After searching for the network, I then choose 'installation of Wireless USB '. I have to connect the USB cable when prompted, and as soon as the installation of the drivers I get the Windows error message posted above.  I've attached a screenshot of what appears as well.

Frustrating is that the printer still works after the installation, but only via the USB connection. I need to get wireless working again, but without the software installation work, I can't seem to get there (unless someone knows a hack/work around).

Event Viewer provides the following details about the error in the application:

The failing application name: hpbcsiInstaller.exe, version: 1.5.6.4020, time stamp: 0x4bbf9f17
Name of the failed module: hppccompio. DLL, version: 1.3.0.24, time stamp: 0x4c9685d0
    Exception code: 0xc0000417
    Offset: 0x000073bf
ID of the process failed: 0 x 970
Start time of application vulnerabilities: 0x01cdbc45b6632fa1
    The failing application path: D:\Installer\hpbcsiInstaller.exe
Path of the failing module: C:\Windows\system32\hppccompio. DLL
    Report ID: cb4d353b-2839-11e2-be7e-002564531498

I tried a wide range of solutions and none of them does not seem to work. Everything from the firmware update, delete all instances of files HP, including .inf files, installation with startup programs and services as the basis because they can get, etc.

    Help, please!

    See you soon,.

  • KB2887069 Windows update fails to install, even with the audio drivers and uninstalled AV

KB2887069 Windows update fails to install, even with the audio drivers and uninstalled AV.

Background: I am setting up a pavilion of 500-164 equipped with OEM specs, specifically:

    -AMD/Radeon APU

    -Windows 8 6.2.9200

-See sysinfo below for more details

The PC brought to the specifications of the plant, with all Windows updates applied with the exception of KB2887069, which breaks down at the update.  With the exception of troubleshooting the failure of the update, none of the changes have been made.  The Windows KB2887069 update fails to install as well through the automated process when tried manually via a direct download.

Additional troubleshooting measures to date include:

-Uninstall the software OEM AV (Norton), then by restarting.

-Temporarily disable all the features of Windows Defender.

-Temporarily uninstall the audio driver (IDT High Definition Audio CODEC) OEM.

-Realization of an analysis of the SFC system (with no error found).

Results: The Windows Update full KB2887069 with a failed State and produced the following results.

I find it peculiar that you just bought a HP computer brand new, still-in-the-box, which came with Windows 8, not 8.1, preinstalled Windows. That said, cross your fingers, roll up your sleeves and try the fix following multiple step, I cooked up just for your computer...

    ACTIONS

[You may want to print these instructions for reference offline.  IMPORTANT => NO SKIP & perform all steps in one uninterrupted session!  [If a step said to restart, restart! ]

1 right-click on the link, select SAVE TARGET as.... & download the Norton Removal Tool, save it to your desktop: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe

    2. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the taskbar).

    3. right click on the file that you saved in step #1 above and select run as administrator to run the Norton utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then restart.

    4. right-click on the following link and save the download to your desktop: ie8 - rereg.all.zip [1]

4B. right click on the file that you saved in # 4 has & select EXTRACT ALL. This will create a new folder in Office also appointed ie8 - rereg.all. The folder contains both scripts below (plus a third that will NOT be).

    Note-online scripts are good for IE9, IE10 & IE11, too,

    5. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the task bar), open the folder created in step # 4 b above & double-click on the file named ie8 - rereg.32on64.cmd to run the script.

5 b. Repeat this for the file named ie8 - rereg.64on64.cmd then restart.

    6. reset Internet Explorer by the MANUAL of instructions on this page-online http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737

Note => for best results, check the option Remove personal settings .

7 run the Windows Update Troubleshooter from start to finish by the first paragraph on this page-online http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/troubleshoot-problems-installing-updates [2]

    8. restart once more then test by launching a manual check of updates & see if KB2887069 any/all others updated and allows to install now. Follow all the instructions.

    9. assuming all went well, see if Windows 8.1 is available through the store Windows and, if so, if it will be properly installed. Still, follow all the instructions.

  • 10. assuming that Win8.1 is now installed, perform another manual check for updates & install all Security updates offered (if any); Follow all the instructions.

    11. in response to this post with a status report. Also confirm (hopefully) that Windows 8.1 has been installed successfully.

    Good luck!

  • Lightroom 3.4.1 on Windows 8?

Anyone tried Lightroom 3.4.1 on Windows 8 Developer Preview version? I tried and it is installed. But when I open, it opens and it blocks immediately.

I found that the 32-bit version of LR work - he is also remarkably fast on one of my machines.  Both the 64-bit version of LR and PS CS5, however, plant in the Windows 8 Developer Preview. The is really not surprising however since she's barely beta and, contrary to some claims, stands quite radical to Windows 7 code.  If you want to report a problem of early stage, I would say that to join Microsoft Connect, so that you can file bug reports.   FWIW, 64 bit Adobe offerings are the only software of any merit that I use and which do not run.  I can't wait to test stuff on the real beta in a few months...

    Greetings to all!

Try to install the driver for Nvidia GeForce Go 7600 after reinstallation of the entire system, but without success. Only safe mode is available after this pilot plant, tried with Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 and with different drivers from Nvidia and Toshiba sites - same result always :(

    Hey,.

    > but without success.
Does that mean exactly? You get an error during installation or what exactly is going on?

    > Only safe mode is available after the installation of this driver
Why only safe mode is available? What happens if you start Windows in normal mode?

And before you start a lengthy discussion: what laptop do you have?

You may notice no problem if you install Windows recovery disk Toshiba?

  • How can I perform a recovery system on my dv7 2111tx

Eager to do a full system restore to go back to the status of the plant. Running Windows Vista Home Premium pre-installed. I can't find the System Recovery Options. Have created a Flash Recovery - so ready to go.

    Any advice?

HP Back Up and Recovery Manager takes me straight to the back and Food Center... is that correct? Is it the same thing? Doesn't seem to give the right options - can only restore - not recover...

    Need help... Please...

    Hi, Richard:

Ok... You have 3 files in the same folder.

Now, you double-click and run the X 14 or 15 as there is, .exe file.

You get the windows vista installation screen.

    Now close that.

Now you should see a folder named Vista.

To create a startup using image burning disk, you do not extract all files in the folder Vista, but follow all the other steps in the section create a .iso file

It's the wrong info that I mentioned in my post.

I had to type in Microsoft Corporation, then the rest displayed fields populated.

Then just burn the ISO file that you built on a DVD using a burning program capable of burning ISO files.

    Hope that helps,

  • How can I upgrade the bios m5-581tg to 2.11?

I would spend my M5 BIOS - 581TG Aspire to 1.12 to 2.11, so I can have UEFI full support of windows 10. Right now, I can't start in installing 10 default directly woindows UEFI. the only way to do is to activate the f12 boot menu and select the "unknown DVICE: Windows Boot Manager" which is embarrassing and prevents me from dual-boot easily.

So I tried to upgrade the BIOS on the official website located here: However, when I download, unzip and run the application, I get the following error. "Please upgrade to the same type of BIOS (version 1.x)" and after I click OK on this error message popup utility closes and I can't upgrade the BIOS.

How can I do this so that I can have the support of UEFI?

    No, no way.

the 2.x versions are only M5 with windows 8 plant, yours has windows 7.

  • Photosmart 7520e all-in-one pr: 7520e all in one photosmart printer problems

I just performed a cover of the plant on my windows 7 64 bit desktop, HP Pavilion Elite HPE150F, now I have problems with my printer, I share wireless with my windows 7 and 8.1 HP Envy 700 019-office windows, desktop computers are wired and my office windows 8.1 is not yet connected. The printer is connected to my network and I can connect to e print and everything very well, take all tests passed.

However I have nowhere on my desk to compose a fax as I did before, even though the fax driver is installed, the only thing I can think to do is to put my printer to the factory settings and start over, but I would like to avoid that if possible, I downloaded the software from the HP web site even if I have the drive , any suggestions please?

I guess that this printer is not supported by the free E Fax service, but I can't walk up to my printer and send a fax using my own phone number, I can't send a fax from my computer as the operator will come on indicating the number you have dialed not in service which is stupid because it's my own phone number. How can I fix this, all fax tests pass, I share the line with my ADSL modem and the other rooms have phones wireless in them with the built-in answering machine but as they turn off when we have a power cut, we have a telephone in this room, I use the phone cord supplied by HP with the printer and the printer has a list of all the incoming calls.

I rarely fax but it here just in case I ever need, my office is set up by cable but shared between windows 7 and windows 8.1 wirelesss up to what I'm doing wrong.

I use a Windows 7 64-bit SP1 retail on a Bootcamp partition and everything is truly and generally fine with fewer errors on a single standard PC machine.

However, I just aqquired keyboard "Razer Walker deadly ultimate" rather nice and impressive that has Razer Switchblade unique interface (you nothing else quite like it). The keyboard itself naturally requires dedicated software driver from Razer called "Synapse 2" which not only provides drivers, but also a user interface to customize the profiles of school boards and also incorporate various 'Apps' exclusively for the Switchblade interface that has the keyboard. "" All these function 'Apps' correctly except for the application of the numeric keypad which is a kind of virtual keyboard which is presented on the sensitive LCD touchscreen keyboards, in other words, once you called this function to the top by pressing the button appropriate to dynamic LCD.

Basically, the virtual digital keypad function will not work and the associated application will plant both with Windows producing the below error.

The keyboard material itself is not at fault and is 100% ok. This is confirmed as when you try to use the keyboard in a virtual machine of Windows 7 running on Parralells so that in Mac OS X Lion mountain. in this scenario, the problem does not arise and the virtual digital keypad function works very well...

    Any IDE cause what?

    Hi Dudley,

    Thank you for your response.

You are facing the issue might be due to the corrupted user profile.

    Since you are not facing a problem in the hidden administrator account, so I suggest you create a new user account and check the issue;

    Create a user account

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/create-a-user-account

Difficulty of a corrupted user profile

Your user profile is a collection of settings that make the computer look and work the way you want. It contains your settings for wallpapers, screensavers, wallpapers, pointer preferences, settings of the sound and other features. User profiles ensure that your personal preferences are used whenever you log on to Windows. If you tried to log on to Windows and received an error message telling you that your user profile is damaged, you can try to fix it.

  • ACS 5.2.0.26 with two areas

I try to spend 4.2 ACS production plant that uses Windows Server installed on GBA as authentication mechanism underlying to 5.2 ACS who joined the field.  I have read several posts and that you have not yet found a solution to my problem.

So, we have a forest/fields of the domain X and is where the ACS server is bound.  We have a domain forest/other Y.  We have two = transitive trust relationship between the two areas.  Users can authenticate correctly if they specify the domain name.  However, if they leave out of the field, only users in the field X can authenticate.

For example, to authenticate the following work:

    X\username field

    Y\username field

user name - if a domain user name X

What does not work for authentication is:

user name - if a domain user name Y

How can I tell ACS to authenticate users to a list of specific areas, perhaps in a certain order, or perhaps a default domain.  We have many more users in the field Y.  So if I had to define a field by default, I could assign domain Y and tell users in domain X to be sure to put the field on the front.  Otherwise, it seems that I could move the AD link to the domain Y.  However, while the confidence is there, the field is in another University and I prefer to keep the ACS server bound to the domain of X.

When I try to search groups directory, I get only the X domain groups.  I can't even manually type the groups in domain Y.  He accepts, but they do not work.  Inevitably, it results in an error of 22056 object was not found in the point of sale applicable identity. if I omit the domain Y.

Any help is appreciated.  If more information is needed to help, please let me know what you need.

    Thank you!

    Jodie

    Jodie,

Are unique samaccountname across the forest? This seems to be that a kind of trust related question and I have seen this crop up lately, here's an article that might help you identify the type of approval in order to make this work:
