I can't Live Update my Max Total Security that I get the message "DB update failed download!» Max Support also did not help at all. Disappointing. What should do?
Do yourself a favor and remove the application. Mac do not need AV applications and at best, they will be not hard (but not good either) and at worst will corrupt your system / OSX's built in protection. Your concerns are malicious software that requires the cooperation of the user to install, not the virus.

Tecra R850 - support SSD SATA 6.0 GB III
Hello.
I bought R850 with SSD.
The bad news is that SSD 256 GB installed is limited to SATA II with up to 300/Mo transfer. I read that Sandy Bridge supports SATA III, which covers 600/Mo.Is someone installed successfully the best able with SATA3 SSD drive?
I tried Sisoft Sandra and it reported that the SSD SATA is II, the same for the motherboard. The HwINFO reported that this chipset is compatible with SATA 3. Everest shows that SSD SATA 2 data.
It's the bios locked for higher transfers? I got 180 MB/s read, 150 MB/write - what is 3 x worse than normal SATA 3 SSD 256 GB hard disks.
Can someone help me and tell - if it's the bios R850? or only the old SSD Toshiba firmware? If I buy the best SSD with SATA3 - it will fully support higher speed?
Best regards
Tomi2012Hello
I don't know Mr. what portable R850-xxx you but as far as I know, this series is equipped with one for the (Sandy Bridge) Intel i3/i5/i7 CPU.
The phone also supports either Intel Cougar Point QM67 (model TN) or HM65 (model no - AMT). The two supports SATA II (3 Gb/s) and SATA III (6 Gb/s)But for example, if the host interface is 300 MB/s, you get experienced data reading: Max 250 MB/s and write data to sustain: Max 160 MB/s

How to move iTunes to support SSD drive on secondary disk files
Hello
I think the title pretty much everything said. My SSD drive app fills and although I have three drives in my desktop Mac PRO somehow the artwork & mobile apps are like 20 gigs. The music files are in a secondary drive. What is the best way to move all the files to support the HUGE secondary disk so I don't understand all of a sudden the dreaded exclamation point?
Thank you
Enio
10.11.4 running
In essence, you must keep the support files in the folder as the iTunes music files, then let iTunes knows where they are located.
It is better than the iTunes folder everything will be moved to the external drive, not just the music and media files. The link below is instructions on how to do it properly. You "partially" here, but you should still be able to follow them, to make the move.

I would like to know the maximum ram supported for two laptop. On the HP page, it is not specified. They are the two 8 GB of ram (ddr3l for 15-ba006nl) and ddr4 for 15-ay008nl but the max ram supported for a future upgrade is not present. Maybe it is only 8 GB and can not be upgraded? Thank you.
Hello:
For the 15-ay008nl, Chapter 1, page 6 of the manual of the service provides information to upgrade memory.

Satellite A210-1AO - RAM max support
Processor: AMD Turion 64 X 2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TL-60/motherboard: IAALA LA-3631 P/RAM complectation: 2 048 (1 024 + 1 024) MB, DDR2 RAM 667 MHz/Vista 32-bit.
For the optimization of the system PC Max RAM can I replace inside? And don't ship / suits after that (for optimizations purposes) last installation (8.1, 10) Windows edition and type of system architecture 64-bit on this PC?
Satellite A210-1AO (Psaele)
According to the specifications of the laptop , your machine can be upgraded up to 4 GB of RAM.
Initially, it has 2 x 1 GB inside.I recommend you buy 100% compatible memory modules and Kingston is one of the best options for you. Compatible 2 GB of RAM for your Satellite KTT667D2 part number a / 2G.
This old machine was designed for Vista, but it works perfectly with Windows 7. He is not taken in charge for Win8/Win8.1 so, in my opinion, there is no sense to install it.
Drivers, tools and utilities for the supported operating systems you can find and download from the Toshiba download page - http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp

Its a Samsung 850 500 GB M.2 3.5 inch SSD Form Factor 80nm. Can I use in a configuration to double for my laptop with the current 5400 RPM 1 TB HARD drive already in the system? Or do I have to use one or the other? Or can I select a smaller SSD storage for a double configuration? I have to talk to a technician and he said my system does not support a 128 GB ssd and it did not indicate if it is a double or a single disk configuration. In my view, it is difficult to imaging a new desire to 2015 with an i7 Quad Core skylake 6700HQ processor supports only a meagre 128 GB SSD. Any ideas on what my system can support?
I can verify that it works very well. I had HP technology insist that I could use only one hard disk and a maximum capacity of 128 GB. The technicians don't know squat. I use now a configuration double with the operating system and my programs on my 850 m2 sata evo III 500 GB SSD and my data (videos, music and photos) files on the preinstalled 5400 RPM 1 TB HARD drive.

HP Pavilion dv7 - 4083cl: support SSD SATA III?
Hello
I think about adding a 2nd. hard drive in my HP Pavilion dv7 - 4083cl.
The current drive of 500 GB at 7200 RPM will be the 2nd. drive and a new SSD will be 1. drive (System and boot).
I was looking for this information, but I couldn't find the answer. My doubts are:
1. the dv7 - 4083 cl does support SATA III? If I install a SATA III disc, will it work to its full potential, or as a SATA II drive? In other words, can I buy a SSD SATA II drive cheaper because I wouldn't have the performance of a most recent hard drive SSD SATA III?
2. a 256 GB SSD support this machine? Or is it just up to 160 GB?
Thank you!
Hello:
You know the chipset specifications to determine what version of your laptop SATA drive will manage transfer speeds to.
Your laptop computer has a chipset Mobile Intel series 5 (HM55) who can run that hard disks to the SATA II transfer speed.
Not until you get to new Intel 6 Series chipsets and can they run SATA III drives to SATA III speed.
Here is the link to the plug on the chipset of your notebook. Note the SATA 3.0 GB/S specifications.
http://www.Intel.com/content/www/us/en/chipsets/mainstream-chipsets/mobile-chipset-HM55.html
Since your laptop comes standard with a 500 GB HARD drive, I imagine a 250 GB SSD should work fine.
However, the recovery disks may not work on a smaller hard drive.

Envy 17 t-j000 caddy tray support SSD hard drive
So, I have an ENVY 17 t-j000 Quad Edition on order. Only ordered with 1 HDD that I intend who move to the secondary place and put an SSD to the main square.
According to the manual online, it seems that readers of screw in a shopping cart / tray / support any and in need of an adapter for the connector.
Because I bought it with only 1 car. Does this mean he won't the tray with the adapter to install a 2nd drive?
And if so, where can I get this caddy and connector adapter? I really hope that it comes with it as I made it very clear on the phone I buy with 1 only drive and add a 2nd drive on my own.
http://PartSurfer.HP.com/search.aspx?type=prod&SearchText=E0K82UA
I spend 1 hour on the phone and bounced between 3 people, each had to wait on hold for as a new call. No one could help me. They finally told me to call the HP parts store, which of course is now closed. And is only open MF 7 a - 7 p CST. 1-800-227-8164
The link above is for the model J000 Quad Edition.
I think that I need the Kit material of HARD drive and possibly the screws indicated in the same section. Although I do not know why the screws would not be included in the "Kit".
720237-001 HDD HARDWARE KIT $30,40
720260-001 SCREW $14.16Wow, if I really need the screws too, it's a crazy price for screws. $30 is also a crazy price for a cable and rubber.
What makes me more upset that I'm going to make a huge deal is that I explicitly said their phone order when the laptop custom configured, that I was going to add a SSD drive myself.
They should have told me that the system is in need of these parts. For so much money, I would spend the $60 (less the discount coupon) to upgrade to dual hard drives. Which would give me these pieces with two pre-installed drives. And then I would have just replaced one with a SSD and sold new HARD drive on ebay or on site. Easily covering the cost of the upgrade of the disk. And I wouldn't have to wait to get parts or went through all that effort to source a part that must be included with the laptop. What is the point of the laptop having 2-Bay disk for the upgrade if it does not come with the owners parts be used?
Yet once, very upset that this issue has not been addressed when I talked to 2 different people when ordering my custom laptop. I spent a lot of effort in pre-sales questions to ensure he had 2 bays for hard drives to add an SSD.
And why in the world these pieces about 10 times more than they should? This is a new laptop. It's not as if these parts are for cell old abandoned.
